UJehova watshela uMose: “Bonke abantu abebezingela umphefumulo wakho bafile.” (Eksodusi 4:19) Zazizingelani izitha zikaMose? Zazifuna ukumbulala. Ngaphambi kwalokho, ngenkathi uRaheli ebeletha indodana yakhe uBhenjamini, ‘umphefumulo wakhe wawuphuma (ngoba wafa).’ (Genesise 35:16-19) Ngaleso sikhathi, uRaheli wafa. Uma uqhubeka utadisha iZwi likaNkulunkulu uzobona ukuthi akukho ndawo kulo lonke iBhayibheli lapho igama elithi “ukungafi” noma elithi “ukuphila phakade” ehlobaniswa khona nelithi “umphefumulo.” Kunalokho, imiBhalo ithi umphefumulo uyafa. IBhayibheli likwenza kucace ukuthi igama elithi “umoya” nelithi “umphefumulo” asho izinto ezimbili ezingefani. Uyini umehluko?

Abalobi beBhayibheli básebenzisa igama lesiHebheru elithi ruʹach noma elesiGreki elithi pneuʹma lapho bebhala ‘ngomoya.’ ImiBhalo nayo iyayiveza incazelo yalawo magama. Ngokwesibonelo, iHubo 104:29 lithi: “Uma ususa umoya [ruʹach] wazo [Jehova], ziyaphangalala, zibuyele othulini lwazo.” UJakobe 2:26 yena uthi “umzimba ngaphandle komoya [pneuʹma] ufile.” Khona-ke, kula mavesi, elithi “umoya” libhekisela kulokho okwenza umzimba uphile. Umphefumulo nomoya akufani. Umzimba udinga umoya njengoba nje nomsakazo udinga ugesi—ukuze usebenze. Nasi esinye isibonelo. Cabanga ngomsakazo ophathwayo. Uma ufaka amabhethri kulo msakazo bese uyawuvula, ugesi osemabhethrini wenza umsakazo usebenze. Kodwa uma amabhethri engekho, umsakazo awusebenzi. Kuba njalo nangolunye uhlobo lomsakazo uma lungaxhunyiwe kugesi. Ngokufanayo, umoya ungamandla enza imizimba yethu iphile. Lapho ekhuluma ngokufa komuntu, umShumayeli 12:7 uthi: “Uthuli [lomzimba wakhe] lubuyela emhlabeni njengoba nje lwalulapho nomoya ubuyela kuNkulunkulu weqiniso owawunikeza.” Lapho umoya, noma amandla okuphila, uphuma emzimbeni, umzimba uyafa futhi ubuyele lapho wavela khona—emhlabeni. Ngokufanayo, namandla okuphila abuyela lapho avela khona—kuNkulunkulu. (Jobe 34:14, 15; IHubo 36:9) Lokhu akusho ukuthi amandla okuphila ayahamba aye ezulwini. Kunalokho kusho ukuthi ithemba lesikhathi esizayo ngomuntu ofayo likuJehova uNkulunkulu. Ukuphila kwakhe kusuke sekusezandleni zikaNkulunkulu. Amandla kaNkulunkulu kuphela angabuyisela umoya, noma amandla okuphila, kumuntu ukuze abuye aphile.

Yeka ukuthi kududuza kanjani ukwazi ukuthi yilokhu kanye uNkulunkulu azokwenzela abantu “abasemathuneni”! (Johane 5:28, 29) Ngesikhathi sovuko, uJehova uyomenzela umzimba omusha umuntu ofileyo abese ewuphilisa ngokuwufaka umoya, noma amandla okuphila. Yeka injabulo eyobe ikhona ngalolo suku!
