“Akakho Umuntu Owakhe Wakhuluma Ngalendlela”

JWANISI 7:32-52

UJesu useseJerusalema eMnyanyeni wamaThaberinakeli (namkha wemiTlhatlhana). Uthabile ngombana ‘inengi labantu esiqubuthwini liyakholwa kuye.’ Kodwana lokho akubathabisi abadosiphambili bezekolo. Bathumela abonogada bona bayombamba. (Jwanisi 7:31, 32) Nokho, uJesu akazifihli.

Kunalokho, uraga nokufundisa tjhatjhalazi eJerusalema, uthi: “Ngizokuba nani isikhatjhana ngaphambi kobana ngiye kongithumileko. Nizongifuna, kodwana ngekhe ningifumane, nalapha ngikhona ngekhe nize.” (Jwanisi 7:33, 34) AmaJuda awamzwisisi bona utjho ukuthini, nje-ke ayabuzana: “Umuntu lo unqophe ukuyaphi, lapho singeze samfumana khona? Kghani unqophe ukuya emaJudeni arhatjhekele hlangana namaGirigi, afundise amaGirigi na? Utjho ukuthini nakathi, ‘Nizongifuna, kodwana ngekhe ningifumane, nalapha ngikhona ngekhe nize’?” (Jwanisi 7:35, 36) UJesu ukhuluma ngokufa kwakhe nangokuvuselwa kwakhe ezulwini, begodu amanabakhe angeze amlandela lapho.

Nje lilanga lekhomba lomnyanya. Emnyanyeni lo qobe ekuseni, umphristi uthulula amanzi akhiwe esiZibeni seSilowama, ukuze agelezele esisekelweni se-aldara lethempeli. Mhlamunye akhumbuza abantu ngomukghwa lo, uJesu uyarhuwelela: “Nanyana ngubani owomileko, akeze kimi asele. Woke umuntu okholwa kimi, njengombana imitlolo itjho: ‘Kuzokugeleza ngaphakathi kwakhe imisele yamanzi aphilako.’ ”​—Jwanisi 7:37, 38.

UJesu uqalisela kilokho okuzokwenzeka ebafundini bakhe nabazeswa ngommoya ocwengileko begodu babizelwa ekuphileni kwezulwini. Lokhu kuzokwenzeka ngemva kokufa kwakaJesu, ngelanga lePentekoste lomnyaka olandelako. Ngelangelo abafundi abazeswe ngommoya bazokuthoma ukuhlanganyela iqiniso nabantu, begodu ngesikhatheso imisele yamanzi anikela ukuphila izokuthoma ukugeleza.

Bamukela lokho uJesu akufundisako, abanye bathi: “Kwamambala lo Mphorofidi.” Ngokutjho njalo kusemtarini bona baqalisela kumphorofidi owabikezelwako omkhulu kunoMosi. Abanye bathi: “Lo nguKrestu.” Kodwana abanye bayakuphikisa lokho: “UKrestu angavela njani eGalile? Umtlolo awutjho na bona uKrestu uzokuvela esizukulwaneni sakaDavida begodu avele eBhetlehema, esabelweni uDavida ebekakiso?”​—Jwanisi 7:40-42.

Kuba nokuhlukana hlangana nesiqubuthu. Nanyana abanye bafuna uJesu abotjhwe, akakho namunye omphakamisela isandla. Abonogada babuyela kubadosiphambili bezekolo bamkhonoze, abaphristi abakhulu nabaFarisi bayababuza: “Kubayini ningakezi naye?” Abonogada baphendula bathi: “Akakho umuntu owakhe wakhuluma ngalendlela.” Abadosiphambili bezekolo bayasilingeka bathoma ukubahleka ubudlhadlha nokubagwera bathi: “Kghani nani senidurhisiwe? Ukhona omunye wababusi namkha wabaFarisi okholelwa kuye na? Isiqubuthwesi esingawazi umThetho siqalekisiwe.”​—Jwanisi 7:45-49.

Khonokho, uNikhodemusi, umFarisi olilunga leSanhedrini, uqunga isibindi sokukhulumela uJesu. Eminyakeni emibili nesiquntu edlulileko, uNikhodemusi waya kuJesu ebusuku begodu waveza indlela akholelwa ngayo kuye. Nje uNikhodemusi uthi: “NgokomThetho wethu asimahluleli umuntu ngaphandle kobana aziphendulele qangi begodu sazi lokho akwenzako, akusinjalo?” Alo bazivikela bathini? “Kghani nawe ungeweGalile? Hlolisisa ubone bonyana akakho umphorofidi ozokuvela eGalile.”​—Jwanisi 7:51, 52.

ImiTlolo ayitjho ngokunqophileko ukuthi kunomphorofidi ozokuvela eGalile. Kodwana iliZwi lakaZimu latjho ukuthi uKrestu uzokuvela lapho; laphorofida bona “ukukhanya okukhulu” kuzokubonakala ‘eGalile yeentjhaba.’ (Isaya 9:1, 2; Matewu 4:13-17) Ngaphezu kwalokho, njengombana kwabikezelwa, uJesu wabelethelwa eBhetlehema, begodu usizukulwana sakaDavida. Nanyana kungenzeka ukuthi abaFarisi bayakwazi lokhu, mhlamunye ngibo abarhatjha imibono ekungasiyo abantu abanayo ngoJesu.
