Kwavela ingxaki phakathi kwamaKristu enkulungwane yokuqala eGalati. Amanye awo ‘ayegcina ngenyameko imihla neenyanga namaxesha neminyaka’—zinto ezo zazigunyaziswa nguMthetho kaMoses. Ayekholelwa ukuba amakholwa amele awuthobele loo Mthetho ukuze uThixo akholiswe ngawo. (Galati 4:10; 5:2, 3) Kodwa uPawulos wayesazi ukuba kwakungeyomfuneko oko kumaKristu. Ukungqina oku, wabhekisela kwingxelo awayeqhelene nayo amaYuda.

UPawulos wakhumbuza abaseGalati ukuba uAbraham, onguyise wohlanga lwamaYuda, wayenoonyana ababini, uIshmayeli noIsake. Owokuqala wazalwa sisicakazana uHagare, waza owesibini wazalwa ngumfazi okhululekileyo uSara. Loo maKristu aseGalati awayekhuthaza ukuthotyelwa koMthetho kaMoses ngokuqinisekileyo ayeyazi ingxelo ephathelele ukuba ludlolo kukaSara nokunika kwakhe uAbraham isicakakazi sakhe uHagare ukuze amzalele umntwana. Amele ukuba ayesazi ukuba emva kokuba uHagare ekhulelwe uIshmayeli, waqalisa ukumdelela uSara. Kodwa njengoko uThixo wayethembisile, ekugqibeleni uSara wazala uIsake ebudaleni bakhe. Abafazi Ababini, Iminqophiso Emibini

UPawulos wayichaza intsingiselo yezi ‘ziganeko zokomfuziselo.’ Wabhala wathi: “Aba bafazi bathetha iminqophiso emibini, omnye ngoweNtaba yeSinayi, uzalela abantwana ebukhobokeni, yaye yena nguHagare. . . . Ufanekisela iYerusalem yanamhlanje, kuba isebukhobokeni kunye nabantwana bayo.” (Galati 4:24, 25) UHagare wayefuzisela uSirayeli wokoqobo, owayenekomkhulu eliyiYerusalem. Uhlanga lwakwaYuda lwalugunyaziswa nguMthetho owamiselwa nguYehova kwiNtaba yeSinayi. Ngaphantsi koMthetho, amaSirayeli ayekhunjuzwa rhoqo ukuba ayengamakhoboka esono yaye ayefuna intlawulelo.—Yeremiya 31:31, 32; Roma 7:14-24.

Yena ke uSara ‘ongumfazi okhululekileyo,’ nonyana wakhe uIsake, babefuzisela bani? UPawulos wabonisa ukuba uSara ‘owayengumfazi oludlolo,’ wayefuzisela umfazi kaThixo, oyintlangano yakhe yasezulwini. Lo mfazi wasezulwini wayeludlolo ngengqiqo yokuba ngaphambi kokuza kukaYesu emhlabeni, lo mfazi wayengenabo “abantwana” abathanjiswe ngomoya emhlabeni. (Galati 4:27; Isaya 54:1-6) Noko ke, ngePentekoste yowama-33 C.E. kwathululwa umoya oyingcwele kumadoda namabhinqa aliqela, aza ngaloo ndlela azalwa ngokutsha njengabantwana balo mfazi wasezulwini. Abantwana Baba Bafazi

IBhayibhile ithi uIshmayeli wamtshutshisa uIsake. Ngokufanayo, ebudeni benkulungwane yokuqala yeXesha Eliqhelekileyo, abantwana beYerusalem esebukhobokeni babagculela yaye babatshutshisa abantwana beYerusalem ephezulu. UPawulos wakuchaza ngale ndlela oku: “Kanye njengokuba ngoko lowo wayezelwe ngokwenyama [uIshmayeli] wamtshutshisayo lowo wayezelwe ngokomoya [uIsake], kukwanjalo nangoku.” (Galati 4:29) Ekufikeni kukaYesu Kristu emhlabeni waza waqalisa ukuvakalisa uBukumkani, iinkokeli zonqulo lwamaYuda zamphatha kanye ngendlela unyana kaHagare uIshmayeli awayiphatha ngayo indlalifa yokwenene ka-Abraham, uIsake. Zamgculela zaza zamtshutshisa uYesu Kristu, ngokucacileyo ngenxa yokuba zazizigqala ziziindlalifa zokwenene zika-Abraham, yena uYesu zimgqala njengeveza-ndlebe.

Ngaphambi nje kokuba iinkokeli zikaSirayeli wokoqobo zimbulale uYesu, wathi: “Yerusalem, Yerusalem, mbulali wabaprofeti nomxulubi wabo bathunyelwa kuyo,—kufuthi kangakanani na ndifuna ukuhlanganisela ndawonye abantwana bakho, ngendlela esithi isikhukukazi sihlanganisele ngayo ndawonye amantshontsho aso phantsi kwamaphiko aso! Kodwa anavuma. Khangelani! Indlu yenu ishiyelwa kuni.”—Mateyu 23:37, 38.

Ingxelo ephefumlelweyo yenkulungwane yokuqala ibonisa ukuba uhlanga lokoqobo olwalufanekiselwa nguHagare aluzalanga oonyana ababeza kuthi ngokuzenzekelayo babe ziindlalifa kunye noYesu. AmaYuda anekratshi awayekholelwa ukuba ayenelungelo lokufumana elo lifa, agatywa nguYehova. Kambe ke, akho amaSirayeli athile okoqobo awaba ziindlalifa kunye noKristu. Noko ke, elo lungelo alinikwa ngenxa yokubonisa kwawo ukholo kuYesu, kungekhona ngenxa yomnombo wawo wokuzalwa.

Abaninzi babo babeza kuba ziindlalifa kunye noKristu babonakala ngePentekoste yowama-33 C.E. Ekuhambeni kwexesha, uYehova wathambisa abanye njengoonyana beYerusalem ephezulu.

Injongo yokuba uPawulos achaze esi ‘siganeko singumfuziselo’ yayikukubonisa ukuba umnqophiso omtsha wongamile kunomnqophiso woMthetho owadluliselwa ngoMoses. Akukho namnye owayenokukholeka kuThixo ngenxa yokugcina kwakhe uMthetho kaMoses, kuba bonke abantu abafezekanga yaye uMthetho wawubalaselisa kuphela nje ukuba bangamakhoboka esono. Kodwa, njengokuba uPawulos wayechazile, uYesu weza ngenjongo yokuba “abakhulule ngokubathenga abo baphantsi komthetho.” (Galati 4:4, 5) Ngoko, ukubonisa ukholo kwidini likaKristu kwakhokelela ekukhululekeni ekugwetyweni nguMthetho.—Galati 5:1-6.

Kutheni sifanele sibe nomdla kwinkcazelo ephefumlelweyo kaPawulos ngokuphathele esi siganeko? Esinye isizathu sikukuba isichazela ngentsingiselo efihlakeleyo yeZibhalo. Le nkcazelo isinceda sibe nentembelo engakumbi yokuba iBhayibhile iyavisisana.—1 Tesalonika 2:13.

Ngaphezu koko, intsingiselo yesi siganeko iyaluchaphazela ulonwabo lwethu lwexesha elizayo. Ukuba babengazange babekho aba nyana beYerusalem ephezulu, besiya kuphelela ekubeni ngamakhoboka esono nokufa. Kodwa ngaphantsi kolwalathiso lothando lukaKristu kunye neendlalifa zesithembiso sikaThixo kuAbraham, ‘ziya kuzisikelela zonke iintlanga zomhlaba.’ (Genesis 22:18) Oku kuya kwenzeka xa zikhululeke ngonaphakade kwimiphumo yesono, ukungafezeki, intlungu nokufa. (Isaya 25:8, 9) Iya kuba lixesha eliyolisa ngokwenene elo!
