UGAYUSI namanye amaKrestu bebaqalene neentjhijilo emihleni yompostoli uJwanisi. Besele kunabantu abafundisa ifundiso emamala ebandleni, begodu bafuna nokuliphadlhula phakathi ibandla. Beyingafuni nokwamukela amaKrestu aziinkhambi, ifaka nabanye ngehloko bona bangawamukeli. (3 Jwa. 9, 10) Izinto bezibibhe ngalendlela uJwanisi nazakutlolela uGayusi incwadi. Incwadi le yatlolwa ngo-98 C.E. emiTlolwelni yamaKrestu yesiGirigi ebizwa ngokuthi “Yincwadi Yesithathu KaJwanisi.”

Nanyana bekaqalene neentjhijilo, uGayusi bekasolo athembekile ekulotjheni kwakhe uJehova. Alo yini etjengisa bona bekathembekile? Kubayini kanti kufuze silingise uGayusi namhlanjesi? Nakuyincwadi kaJwanisi yona ingasisiza njani bona simlingise?

INCWADI ETLOLELWE UMNGANI OTHANDEKAKO

Umtloli wencwadi yesiThathu kaJwanisi uzibiza ‘ngomphathi’ namkha ‘indoda edala (NW).’ UGayusi bekazi kuhle bona loyo ngumpostoli uJwanisi. UJwanisi ubiza uGayusi ngokuthi ‘ngothandekako, engimthanda ngeqiniso.’ Bese atjho-ke nokuthi uGayusi uphile kuhle emzimbeni nemmoyeni okutjho ekukholweni kwakhe. Umuntu nakazakubukwa ngalendlela vane enza kuhle kwamambala!—3 Jwa. 1, 2, 4.

Kungenzeka bona uGayusi bekambonisi ebandleni langekhabo, kodwana incwadi le ayikubeki ebaleni lokho. UJwanisi uyambuka tle uGayusi ngokwamukela amanye amaKrestu nanyana bekangawazi. Uyatjho nokuthi lokho kuveza bona uGayusi uthembekile, ngombana vele abantu bakaZimu bebaziwa ngokwamukela nokuphatha kuhle abayeni.—Gen. 18:1-8; 1 Thim. 3:2; 3 Jwa. 5.

Amezwi kaJwanisi wokuthokoza uGayusi ngokwamukela abayeni aveza bona bekunamaKrestu ebekaziinkhambi ezisuka lapha uJwanisi ebekahlala khona zitjhinge emabandleni, zibuye godu. Begodu kungenzeka bezimtjela uJwanisi ngalokho ezihlangabezane nakho. Mhlamunye ngikho lokho ebekwenza uJwanisi azi iindaba ezenzeka emabandleni.

AmaKrestu aziinkhambi la bewanyula ukwamukelwa maKrestu akunye nawo. Amawotela wangesikhatheso bekaziwa ngokukhohlakala, nokuphatha kumbi iinkhambi, anamalawu lapha abantu baziphatha kumbi khona. Yeke, nakukghonakalako, iinkhambi ezihlakaniphileko bezitjhinga ebanganini bazo; amaKrestu atjhinge emaKrestwini wekhabo.

BEBAKWENZA NGEBANGA LEBIZO LAKAZIMU

UJwanisi wakhuthaza uGayusi bona abamukele abayeni, wamtjela nokuthi ‘[abaziinkhambi] akabakhambise ngendlela ezakuthokozisa uZimu.’ Lokho bekutjho ukuthi nasele iimvakatjhi sezikhamba, aziphathiswe nomphako wendlela nakho koke ezizokutlhoga endleleni. Lokho abakuphiweko kufuze kubabambe bebayokufika lapha baya khona. Kuyabonakala ukuthi uGayusi ukwenzile lokho eemvakatjhini ebezifikile ngaphambilini, ngombana naku zifike zakubika kuJwanisi, zamtjela ngethando nangokukholwa kwakaGayusi.—3 Jwa. 3, 6.

Kungenzeka amaKrestu aziinkhambi la bekaziinthunywa zevangeli, ngabathunywe nguJwanisi namkha ababonisi abakhambako. Kungakhathaliseki bona bekubobani, boke abantwaba bebakhamba “ngebanga lebizo lakhe.” (3 Jwa. 7, NW) Phela uJwanisi bekaqeda ukukhuluma ngoZimu (qala ivesi 6), yeke nakathi ngebizo lakhe” kubonakala ngasuthi ukhuluma ngebizo lakaJehova. Ngikho bekufuze bamukelwe kuhle nje ngombana bamalunga webandla lobuKrestu. NoJwanisi naye uyiltlole njalo indaba le wathi: “Nje-ke thina kufanele sibasekele abantu abanjalo ukuze sibambisane nabo emsebenzini weqiniso.”—3 Jwa. 8.

ISIZO NGEENKHATHI EZIBUDISI

UJwanisi bekangakatloli incwadi le bona athokoze uGayusi kwaphela. Bekafuna nokumsiza bona akghone ukuqalana nomraro omabhombo. Nakho-ke sekuzakuvela ilungu lebandla lobuKrestu elibizwa bona nguDiyotrefe, bekalitshwenyo kangangombana bekangafuni nokwamukela amaKrestu aziinkhambi. Bekalinga nokukhandela amanye amaKrestu bona angawamukeli.—3 Jwa. 9, 10.

UDiyotrefe bekathanda ukuzenza mkhulu ebandleni, angakuhloniphi lokho okuvela kuJwanisi, anyenyeza amahlebezana wamanga ngabapostoli nabanye. Alo ngubani obekangathanda ukwamukelwa mumuntu onjalo, ngitjho sekungathiwa wamukela abayeni? Nanyana uJwanisi angakhenge ambize ngomfundisi wamala nje, uDiyotrefe bekangafuni ukulawulwa bapostoli. Ukuzenza mkhulu nokucabanga okuphambene nobuKrestu besele kuphakamisa imibuzo ngokuthembeka kwakhe kuZimu. Indaba kaDiyotrefe le ikubeka ebaleni ukuthi abantu abazikhakhazisako nabarharhela iinkhundla bangaba nomthelela oyingozi khulu ebandleni. Ngikho uJwanisi athi kuGayusi: “Ungalandeli okumbi.”—3 Jwa. 11.

ISIZATHU ESIHLE KHULU SOKWENZA OKULUNGILEKO

UDemetriyusi yena bekangafani noDiyotrefe ngombana bekabeka isibonelo esihle. UJwanisi wathi: “Boke bamkhuluma kuhle uDemetriyusi . . . Nathi godu siyambuka, nawe uyazi bona ubufakazi bethu buliqiniso.” (3 Jwa. 12) Kungenzeka bona uDemetriyusi bekatlhoga isizo kuGayusi, begodu incwadi yesiThathu kaJwanisi bekuyincwadi emethulako nemkhulumela kuhle evela kumpostoli. Kungenzeka ukuthi incwadi kaJwanisi le yeza naye uDemetriyusi wayiletha kuGayusi. Kungenzeka bona njengesithunywa sakaJwanisi namkha umbonisi okhambako bekazokugandelela lokho okutjhiwo nguJwanisi.

Kubayini uJwanisi akhuthaza uGayusi bona abaphathe kuhle abayeni? Kghani uJwanisi wabona kufanele na bona amkhuthaze? Kghani uJwanisi bekatshwenywa kukuthi uDiyotrefe besele afuna nokuqotha amanye amaKrestu ebandleni ngebanga lokwamukela abayeni? Nanyana kungaba yini, uJwanisi waqinisekisa uGayusi wathi: “Loyo owenza okulungileko ungewakaZimu.” (3 Jwa. 11) Lokho bekusizathu esihle kwamambala sokuragela phambili nokwenza okulungileko.

Incwadi kaJwanisi le imkhuthazile na uGayusi bona aragele phambili nokwamukela abayeni? Ukufakwa kwayo erhelweni leencwadi zeBhayibheli kutjho khona bona imkhuthazile ngombana nathi isasikhuthaza bona ‘silandele okuhle.’

ESIKUFUNDISWA YINCWADI YESITHATHU KAJWANISI

Sengilokho kwaphela esikwaziko ngomnakwethu wakade lo uGayusi. Kodwana khona okuncanokho esikwaziko ngaye kusifundisa iimfundo ezimbadlwana.

Singabamukela ‘besibaphathe’ njani ‘abayeni’?

Kokuthoma, soke nje kunabantu okufuze sibathokoze ngombana bazimisela ukusivakatjhela basifundise iqiniso. Kuliqiniso bona akusiwo woke umKrestu wanamhlanjesi okhamba ibanga elide bona ayokutjhumayela iindaba ezimnandi. Kodwana soke siyawakhuthaza amaKrestu aziinkhambi njengoGayusi, kungaba babonisi abakhambako nabomkabo. Namkha sibasekele abafowethu nabodadwethu abathuthela enarheni yekhethu namkha ngaphetjheya bona bayokufaka isandla lapha kutlhogeka khona abatjhumayeli. Yeke ‘asibaphatheni kuhle abayeni.’—Rom. 12:13; 1 Thim. 5:9, 10.

Kwesibili, angekhe simangale nakungenzeka ngeenkhathi ezithileko kube nabantu abangafuni ukulawulwa ebandleni namhlanjesi. Abanye ebandleni bebangafuni ukulawulwa nguJwanisi, nompostoli uPowula ngobunjalo. (2 Kor. 10:7-12; 12:11-13) Alo sizakuthini nakungenzeka siqalane nesitjhijilwesi ebandleni? UPowula nakasilulekako uthi: “Isisebenzi seKosi asikafaneli sibe nenturhu, kodwana asibe nomusa kibo boke nelisu lokufundisa, sinyamezele, sisole abaphikisana naso ngesizotha.” Nasingaba nommoya ophasi abanye abantu nabasikwatisako, kungabenza batjhugulule umkhumbulo ngokukhamba kwesikhathi. Bese “mhlamunye uZimu angahle abaphe ithuba lokuphenduka balazi iqiniso.”—2 Thim. 2:24, 25.

Kwesithathu, abantu abathembekileko ekusebenzeleni uJehova naphezu kobana baqalene neentjhijilo kufuze babukwe bebathokozwe ngokuthembeka kwabo. Nabadala banamhlanjesi nabo kufuze balingise uJwanisi ngokukhuthaza abanakwabo nabodadwabo bona “bangapheli amandla.”—Isa. 40:31; 1 Thes. 5:11.

Incwadi etlolwe mpostoli uJwanisi ayitlolela uGayusi inamagama ama-219 emtlolweni wesiGirigi, begodu yifitjhani kunazo zoke iincwadi eziseBhayibhelini. Kodwana iseselisizo kumaKrestu nanamhlanjesi.
