Even with this one, apostle Peter talk say: “Even though say wuna never see-am, wuna love-am. Even as wuna no de see-am now, wuna still put faith for-am.” (1 Pet. 1:8) This one mean say, we fit form close friendship with Jesus even as we never meet-am before.

3. Wetin be the number two thing wey fit make-am hard to be friend of Jesus?

³ The number two thing be say, we no fit talk to Jesus. When we de pray, we de direct the things wey we de talk to Jehovah. The truth be say, we de pray in Jesus name, but we no de talk to Jesus. In short, Jesus no want make  we pray to-am. Why we talk so? Na because prayer na part of our worship, and na only Jehovah we go worship. (Matt. 4:10) But even with that one, we fit still show say we love Jesus.

E tell e disciples say: “If any person don see me, e don  see the Father too.” (John 14:9) So one important way to know Jehovah, na to learn about the life of Jesus. As we de learn about Jesus, our love for-am go grow. And as our friendship with Jesus de grow, our love for e Father go grow more.

⁶ We must get Jesus as friend if we want make God answer our prayer. This one mean say we go do pass just to talk “in Jesus name” for the end of our prayer. We need to understand the way Jehovah de use Jesus to answer prayer. Jesus tell e apostles say: “Anything wey wuna use my name ask for, I go do-am.” (John 14:13) Even though say na Jehovah de hear and answer our prayer, e don give Jesus the power to do the things wey E don decide. (Matt. 28:18) So before Jehovah answer our prayer, e go see whether we don follow the things wey Jesus tell us. For example, Jesus talk say: “If wuna forgive people their sin, wuna Papa for heaven go still forgive wuna; but if wuna no forgive people their sin, wuna Papa no go forgive wuna sin.” (Matt. 6:14, 15) So e really dey important make we treat people for kind way, just as Jehovah and Jesus de treat us!

For example, we fit contribute something to support the work wey we de do for the whole world. Them de use the contribution to preach the good news for far-far place, to care for places like Kingdom Halls, and to provide the things wey people need when they experience things like earthquake or war. We fit still make contribution to support our own congregation and help people wey we know say they need help. (Prov. 19:17) This one na different-different way wey we fit support brothers of Christ.

14. As e dey for Ephesians 4:15, 16, wetin be the number four thing wey we must do if we want be friend of Jesus?

¹⁴ (4) Support the arrangement wey Jehovah’s organization de make. Our friendship with Jesus as head of congregation de tight more-more when we de obey the people wey Jehovah de use care for us. They go dey with Jesus; they go see-am, speak with-am, and spend time with-am. (John 14:2, 3) Jesus go still show love and care for people wey their hope na to live for this earth forever. Even as they no go see Jesus, the friendship wey they get with Jesus go still de grow as them de enjoy the life wey Jehovah and Jesus don make them get.​—Isa. 9:6, 7.

¹⁶ When we accept the invitation wey Jesus give us to be e friend, we go get plenty blessings. For example, e go love and support us now. We get the chance to live forever. And the number one important thing be say, when we be friend of Jesus, we go be friend with e Father Jehovah. And na this kind friendship better pass any other one.
