They born me for 1983. I dey fine from when they born me, but na when I reach ten years I begin feel pain everywhere for my body. After about two years, I wake up one day and I no fit waka again. I try many times to move my two leg, but I no fit. Since that day, I never waka again. The sickness make me stop to grow. Till today I still dey small like small pikin.

Because of my sickness, I no fit comot for house again. After some months, two Jehovah Witness women come my house. I de hide any time wey visitors come my house, but that day I allow the women talk to me. When they tell me about Paradise, I come remember wetin I hear when I dey five years. That time, one missionary wey e name na Jethro de live for one village wey the name na Suriname. And e de come our village once every month to study Bible with my papa. Jethro na better person, e de show me love, and I really like Jethro. My grandpapa and grandmama de carry me go the meeting wey Jehovah Witness people de do for our village. So when one of the women wey visit me that day, wey e name na Florence ask me whether I go like learn more, I say yes.

Florence come back with e husband wey e name na Justus. And two of them start to study Bible with me. When they notice say I no sabi read, they start to teach me how to read. And after some time, I start to read by myself. One day, they tell me say they don transfer them to Suriname. And the sad thing be say, nobody dey for Orealla village wey go continue to study Bible with me. But, I happy say Jehovah no ever forget me.

After some time, one pioneer wey e name na Floyd come Orealla village, and e meet me for our hut as e de preach from house to house. When e tell me about Bible study, I smile. And e ask me say: “Why you de smile?” So I tell-am say they don already study the brochure wey the name na What Does God Require of Us? with me finish, and they don start to study the book Knowledge That Leads to Everlasting Life * with me. And I explain why the study stop. Floyd study the remaining part of the Knowledge book with me, but small time they transfer Floyd too. So, I come dey without Bible teacher again.

 But for 2004, they send two special pioneers come Orealla village, their name na Granville and Joshua. They meet me for our hut when them de preach from house to house. When they ask me say whether I go like to study, I smile. So I tell them to study the Knowledge book from the beginning with me. I want see whether they go teach me the same things wey my former teachers teach me. Granville tell me say them de do meeting for the village. I agree say I go go, even though say I never comot for house for about ten years that time. So Granville come my house and carry me for wheelchair, and push me go Kingdom Hall.

As time de go, Granville encourage me to join the Theocratic Ministry School. E talk say: “You no fit waka, but you fit talk. One day, you go give public talk. E go surely happen.” The thing wey e tell me really encourage me and give me power.

So I start to preach with Granville. But, many of the dirty road them for the village get too much gallop, and this one no good for the wheelchair. So I tell Granville to put me for wheelbarrow and push me as we de preach. That idea really work. For April 2005, I baptize. Small time after, the brothers train me to care for congregation book them and handle the sound system for Kingdom Hall.

Then for 2007 one sad thing happen. My papa injure for boat, and e die after. The thing really pain us for our family. Granville pray with us and use some Bible verse encourage us. But after two years, another serious bad thing happen—Granville get accident with boat and e die.

This thing really pain us for our congregation. Na so we no come get any elder for our small congregation again, na only one ministerial servant we get. Granville death really pain me, na my correct friend e be. E don really help me to hold Jehovah tight, and help me with the things wey I need. For the meeting wey we do after e die, they say make I read for Watchtower Study. I try read paragraph one and two finish, but after, I start to cry and the tears no gree stop sotey, they bring me come down from platform.

Small-small, I start to happy again when brothers from another congregation come de help us for Orealla village. And another thing be say, branch office send one special pioneer wey e name na Kojo make e come help us. The thing wey really make me glad pass na say, my mama and my younger brother start to study Bible, and baptize. Then for March 2015, they make me ministerial servant. And after some time, I give my first public talk. That day, I remember wetin Granville tell me many years ago. E say: “One day, you go give public talk. E go surely happen.” I smile and start to cry as I de happy for wetin Granville do for me.

From JW Broadcasting^® programs wey I de watch, I don see some other brothers and sisters wey dey the same condition like me. But even with their condition, them de glad as them de serve Jehovah. At least, I fit still do some things by myself. So I start to pioneer because I want do everything wey I fit do for Jehovah. And for September 2019, one better thing wey I no expect happen for my life! Na that month they make me elder for our congregation wey get about 40 publishers.

I really thank the dear brothers and sisters wey study Bible with me and help me to serve Jehovah. The number one person wey I thank na Jehovah, because e no ever forget me.
