(Gen. 3:15) For the time wey Jehovah choose, e go send e Son from heaven to “give e life as price to free plenty people.”​—Mark 10:45; John 6:51.

² Jesus sacrifice e life to pay for the thing wey Adam troway. (1 Cor. 15:22) Why Jesus need to sacrifice e life? Because the thing wey Jehovah see as the correct thing to do for the Law wey e give, na to use life pay for life. (Ex. 21:23, 24) The life wey Adam lost no get sin. After, they make Jesus carry heavy wood ontop e back wey plenty wound dey. Jesus begin carry the wood or pole go the place wey they want kill-am. But small time, the Roman soldiers command another man make e carry the pole for Jesus. (Matt. 27:32) When Jesus reach the place wey e go die, the soldiers nail e hand and leg for the pole. The weight of Jesus body begin open the wound wey the nail put for e hand and leg. E friends de cry, and e mama de cry too. But the leaders of Jew people de laugh Jesus. (Luke 23:32-38; John 19:25) Jesus suffer for hours. Because of the position of e body for the pole, e heart and e lungs no de work well. And this one make-am hard for Jesus to breath. Jesus know say e don dey faithful. And just before e die, e pray to Jehovah for the last time. Then, e bow e head and e die. (Mark 15:37; Luke 23:46; John 10:17, 18; 19:30) This way wey Jesus die really dey slow, e feel the pain, and the shame!

5. For Jesus, which thing worse pass the way e die?

⁵ For Jesus, no be the way e die worse pass for all the things wey e suffer. The thing wey really pain Jesus pass na the reason wey they give, wey make they kill Jesus. They lie against Jesus say e talk bad thing about God. And this one go mean say Jesus no get respect for God or for the name of God. (Matt. 26:64-66) This kind lie wey people talk really pain Jesus reach e bone sotey, e for like make e Father no allow make this kind shame happen. (Matt. 26:38, 39, 42) Why Jehovah allow e Son wey e really love to suffer and die? Make we talk about three reasons.

8. Wetin be the number three reason why God allow Jesus make e face serious test?

⁸ The number three reason why Jehovah allow make Jesus really suffer na to answer one important question wey be: People fit remain tight with Jehovah, even when they face serious test? Satan answer no! E talk say people de serve God because of wetin they want gain from God. And Satan believe say, they no love Jehovah just like Adam no love Jehovah. ⁹ The things wey Bible teach about the sacrifice of Jesus don make the faith of plenty Christian dey strong. They don continue to preach even as people de suffer them, and they don endure different kind of problem for their whole life. Make we talk about the example of apostle John. E continue to preach the truth about Jesus and e sacrifice. And maybe e do this one pass 60 years. Government for Rome think say John fit bring trouble. So they put John for prison for the island of Patmos. That time, John don almost reach one hundred years. John do any bad thing? Bible tell us say, e de “talk about God and de tell people the truth about Jesus.” (Rev. 1:9) Because John show faith and e endure, this one na really better example for us!

10. How the things wey John write about really show say e love the sacrifice of Jesus?

John talk about the sacrifice of Jesus, or about the better things wey this sacrifice do, more than 100 times. For example, John write say: “If anybody sin, we get person wey de help us. This person na Jesus Christ. After everything wey Jehovah and Jesus don do for me, I no go fit do this kind thing.’ Then, we fit tell Jehovah make e give us power, and beg say: ‘No allow me fall for temptation.’​—Matt. 6:13.

12. How we fit do wetin dey 1 John 3:16-18?

¹² Love your brothers and sisters. When  we show this kind love, we still de show say we value the price wey Jesus pay. Why? Because Jesus no only die for us, but e still die for our brothers and sisters. If Jesus dey ready to die for them, then e really love them no be small. (Read 1 John 3:16-18.) We de show our brothers and sisters say we love them for the way we treat them. (Eph. 4:29, 31–5:2) For example, we fit help them when them de sick or when them de face serious problem. (Lev. 19:18) If na so, follow this advice for Bible wey talk say: “Make wuna no tire to endure wetin wuna do each other and to always use wuna heart forgive each other, even if wuna get reason to complain about another person. 17. Why e be say the sacrifice of Jesus na the best gift wey God don give us?

¹⁷ The truth na say, we get better reason to always love the sacrifice of Jesus more-more. Because of this sacrifice, we fit dey tight with Jehovah even though say they born us with sin. Because of this sacrifice, all the things wey Devil don do go scatter kpatakpata. (1 John 3:8) Because of this sacrifice, the thing wey Jehovah get for mind for this earth, go happen. The whole earth go be paradise. Anybody wey you meet go love and de serve Jehovah.
