1-2. Which promise for Isaiah 65:16, 17 de help us make we continue to endure?

OUR 2017 convention get one better topic wey be “Make You No Tire!” The convention show us how we fit endure the problems wey we de face. Four years don pass since that time and we still de endure life for this wicked world.

² Which problem you just face? One of your family member or your dear friend die? You de suffer from sickness wey fit kill person? Life hard for you because you don de old? People de suffer you, the fight-fight for your area affect you, or things like heavy rain scatter your property? You de suffer because of one disease, for example COVID-19? We de really wait for the time when all this problems go don be story-story, when we go forget about them and they no go ever happen again.—Read Isaiah 65:16, 17.

3. Wetin we must do now, and why?

³ Life for this world dey hard, and we fit need to endure more serious problems for future. (Matt. 24:21) E clear say we must continue to learn how to endure more. Why? Na because Jesus talk say: “Na when wuna endure, wuna go save wuna life.” (Luke 21:19) We go fit endure more when we de think about how other people de endure problems like our own.

4. Why we fit talk say na Jehovah be the best example of person wey de endure?

⁴ Who be the best example of person wey de endure? Na Jehovah God. That answer surprise you? E fit surprise you. But if you think about-am, you go understand. Na Devil de control this world, and so plenty problem dey every corner. Jehovah get power to end all the problems now-now, but e de wait for time wey e go do-am for future. (Rom. 9:22) But for now, our God de endure until when e go destroy this wicked world. Make we talk about nine things wey Jehovah don choose to endure.

5. How they don spoil the name of God, and how this one de make you feel?

⁵ They don spoil e name. Jehovah love e name, and e want make everybody respect that name. (Isa. 42:8) But for about six thousand years now, they don spoil e good name. (Ps. 74:10, 18, 23) This one start for garden of Eden when Devil claim say God no want make Adam and Eve get wetin they need to dey happy. (“Devil” mean “Person wey de talk wicked lie about another person.”) (Gen. 3:1-5) Since that time, people don lie about Jehovah say e no want make people get wetin they really need. The lies wey they talk about the name of Jehovah worry Jesus. Because of that one, e teach e disciples to pray say: “Our Father for heaven, make your name dey holy.”—Matt. 6:9.

6. Why Jehovah don allow plenty time to pass before e show say e get the right to rule heaven and earth?

⁶ They no support God as King. Na only Jehovah get the right to rule heaven and earth, and the way e de rule na the best. (Rev. 4:11) But Devil don try to deceive angels and people for earth make them de think say God no get that right. Time go pass to show say Jehovah get the right to rule and say e be the best ruler. God don allow man to rule for long time, so that people fit see say man no go fit rule theirself well if they no listen to the Person wey make them. Sense dey this thing wey God do. (Jer. 10:23) Because God dey patient, this matter go settle kpatakpata. Everybody go know say the way Jehovah de rule na the best, and say na only e Kingdom go fit bring real peace for the earth and make-am dey safe for everybody.

7. Which people don dey against Jehovah, and wetin e go do to them?

⁷ Some of e children no gree obey. When Jehovah make angels and people, them dey perfect. But after, one angel no gree obey Jehovah again. This son of God become Satan. (“Satan” mean “Person wey dey against another person.”) Satan still make Adam and Eve stop to obey Jehovah. That time, this children of God dey perfect. Some angels and other people follow their example and they no gree obey God. (Jude 6) After, even as God choose the people of Israel as e own, some people among them reject God and start to worship lie-lie gods. (Isa. 63:8, 10) No wonder this thing wey they do really pain Jehovah. But God don endure, and e go continue to endure until time go come when e go destroy all the people wey no de gree obey wetin e talk. Then, Jehovah and e faithful servants go dey happy say they no go need to endure wicked things for this world again!

8-9. Which lies them de talk about Jehovah, and wetin we fit do about this lies?

⁸ The lies wey Devil de talk. Satan lie say Job and all faithful servant of Jehovah de worship God only because of the things wey them de gain. (Job 1:8-11; 2:3-5) Devil don continue with e lie-lie reach today. (Rev. 12:10) We fit help to show say Satan de lie, when we de endure our problems and continue to hold God tight because we love God. As Jehovah bless Job, e go bless us too if we endure.—Jas. 5:11.

⁹ Satan de use leaders for fake religion to talk say Jehovah no get feeling and say e de cause suffer for people. Some even de talk say when children die, na God take them because e need more angels for heaven. This big lie no show respect for God at  all. We know say Jehovah na Papa wey get love. When we get serious sickness or when person wey we love die, we no de ever blame our God. Instead, we get faith say one day, e go make things better. We fit tell everybody wey go listen say Jehovah na God of love. Then Jehovah go fit answer the person wey de insult-am.—Prov. 27:11.

10. Wetin Psalm 22:23, 24 show us about Jehovah?

¹⁰ E servants wey e love de suffer. Jehovah God de feel for people. E no de glad at all when e see say we de suffer, whether na because people de give us trouble, we de sick, or we de make mistakes. (Read Psalm 22:23, 24.) Jehovah de feel our pain. E want stop-am, and e go stop-am. (Compare Exodus 3:7, 8; Isaiah 63:9.) The day go come when “e go wipe all the tears from [our] eye, and [people] no go die again, people no go de cry again, pain no go dey again.”—Rev. 21:4.

11. How Jehovah de feel about e faithful servants wey don die?

¹¹ E de miss e friends wey don die. How Jehovah de feel about e faithful servants wey don die? E really want see them again! (Job 14:15) Jehovah go don really de miss e friend Abraham! (Jas. 2:23) Or what about Moses wey Jehovah be de talk to “face-to-face”? Just think about how e go don de hungry Jehovah to talk with Moses again! (Ex. 33:11) And Jehovah go really want hear David and the other psalmists sing their fine-fine song to praise-am! (Ps. 104:33) Even as this friends of God don die, Jehovah never forget them. (Isa. 49:15) E de remember everything about the kind person wey they be. Bible talk say “all of them dey alive for e eye.” (Luke 20:38, ftn.) 12. Which thing especially de make Jehovah feel pain for this wicked last days?

¹² The trouble wey wicked people de cause for other people. When problem start for garden of Eden, Jehovah know say things go worse before they go better. Jehovah hate the wicked things, the fight-fight, and the partial wey de happen for the world today. E don always feel for people wey really need help. For example, people wey dey weak and no fit protect theirself, like children wey no get papa and mama, and women wey their husband don die. (Zech. 7:9, 10) Jehovah de really feel pain when e see people de give e faithful servants trouble and de put them for prison. Dey sure say Jehovah love all the people wey de endure as e de endure.

13. Which wowo things God de see people de do today, and wetin e go do about-am?

¹³ People don de spoil more-more for things about sex. God make man for e own image. But Satan like to make them do wicked things. When God see say “people de really do plenty wicked things” for time of Noah, “Jehovah regret-am say e make man for this earth, and e really feel pain for heart.” (Gen. 6:5, 6, ftn., 11) Things don better since that time? No! Devil de really glad say different kind of bad things about sex de happen for every corner. For example, people wey never marry de do things about sex with each other, and man de sleep with man and woman de sleep with woman. (Eph. 4:18, 19) Satan de over glad when e make servants of Jehovah put hand for serious sin. When time for Jehovah to dey patient don end, e go destroy all the people wey no gree change to show say e hate the bad-bad things about sex wey people de do.

14. Wetin man de do the earth and the things wey God make for inside?

¹⁴ Man de spoil the earth wey God don make. No be only say man de “bring man plenty pain,” but man still no de take care of the earth and the animals as Jehovah talk say make they do. (Eccl. 8:9; Gen. 1:28) Some science people talk say because of the things wey people de do, small time after some years, we no go see one million different-different kind of animals and plants (or, species) * again for the earth. No wonder people talk say the earth dey for trouble! But we thank Jehovah as e promise “to destroy” people wey de “destroy the earth,” and turn the earth to paradise.—Rev. 11:18; Isa. 35:1.

15-16. Wetin suppose make us endure like Jehovah? Give example.

¹⁵ Think about all the problems wey don de make Jehovah de worry and wey e don de endure for many-many years now. (Check the box “ The Things Wey Jehovah De Endure.”) Jehovah fit end this wicked world anytime. But because e dey patient, this one don be blessing for us. Make we use this example explain-am. Make we talk say doctor tell one man and e wife say their pikin wey still dey inside belle, get one serious problem for body and say life no go dey easy for the pikin at all and e go quick die. But the husband and the wife dey happy when they born the pikin, even if e no go dey easy for them to care for the pikin. Because they love their pikin, they go  endure anything so that they go fit give the pikin the best life as their power reach.

¹⁶ For the same way, all the children of Adam and Eve no dey perfect when they born them. Even with that one, Jehovah love them and de care for them. (1 John 4:19) For the example wey we give, the husband and wife no fit end the problem, but Jehovah fit end the suffer wey e children de suffer. God don choose time when e go end all the suffer wey people de face. (Matt. 24:36) Make the love wey Jehovah get move us to endure like Jehovah, no matter how the time go long reach.

17. How the thing wey Hebrews 12:2, 3 talk about Jesus, de encourage us to always endure?

¹⁷ Na Jehovah be the best example of person wey de endure. Jesus endure like e Father. When Jesus dey this earth, e endure insult, shame, and death ontop pole because of us. (Read Hebrews 12:2, 3.) True-true, na the example wey Jehovah show as e endure, give Jesus the power to endure. This one fit give us power too.

18. How 2 Peter 3:9 help us understand wetin don happen as Jehovah really dey patient?

¹⁸ Read 2 Peter 3:9. Jehovah know the best time to destroy this wicked world. Because God dey patient, plenty people don fit learn about God. And now, millions of people de worship God. All of them de glad say Jehovah don endure for long time so that they go fit born them, they fit learn to love God, and give God their life. When plenty-plenty people don endure reach the end, this one go make-am dey clear say na the right thing Jehovah do as e decide to dey patient.

19. Wetin we suppose make up our mind to do, and wetin go be our gain?

¹⁹ We de learn from Jehovah how to endure and still de get joy. Even with all the pain and suffer wey Satan don cause, Jehovah still be “the happy God.” (1 Tim. 1:11) And we fit de get joy as we de wait for Jehovah with better mind to make e name dey holy, to show say e be King for heaven and earth, to end all wickedness, and end all the problems wey we get now. Make we tell ourself say we go de endure and we no go too worry because we know say our Papa for heaven de endure too. If we do like that, the thing wey James 1:12 talk go happen to each of us: “Person wey continue to endure test go dey happy, because when God dey happy with the person, e go get the crown of life, wey Jehovah promise people wey continue to love-am.”
