Plenty people de do more for the preaching work. Some people plan to pioneer. Other people plan to work for Bethel or to help construct place like Kingdom Hall or Assembly Hall. And plenty brothers de try to qualify as ministerial servant or elder. (1 Tim. 3:1, 8) Jehovah really de glad when e see wetin e people dey ready to do for e service!—Ps. 110:3; Isa. 6:8.

2. How we fit feel if we no fit do some things wey we for like to do for Jehovah?

² But we fit start to tire if long time don pass and we never fit do some things wey we plan to do for Jehovah. Or we fit dey sad if we no fit do some kind things for Jehovah’s organization because of our age or because of other reasons. (Prov. 13:12) This kind thing happen to Sister Melissa. * This sister for like to serve for Bethel or go School for Kingdom Evangelizers. But e talk say: “I don pass the age. This kind assignment no go fit reach my hand again. E de pain me sometimes.”

3. Wetin some people fit need to do so that they go fit qualify to do other work for Jehovah?

³ Some young people and people wey their body strong, fit need to get some kind fine-fine character before they go dey ready to do other work for Jehovah. For example, they  fit know book, they no de delay before they make decision, and them dey ready to work. But they fit need to learn how to dey more patient, dey more careful for their work, and get more respect for people. If you put your heart more to get the fine-fine character wey you need, they fit give you that assignment when you no expect-am. See the example of one brother wey e name na Nick. When e dey 20 years, e really feel sad because they no make-am ministerial servant. E talk say, “That time, I feel say na me get the problem.” But Nick no tire. E do e best for congregation and for preaching work. Today, na member of Branch Committee e be.

⁴ You dey sad because you never fit do the thing wey you plan to do for Jehovah? If na so, tell Jehovah how you de feel. (Ps. 37:5-7) Apart from that one, ask mature brothers for advice about how you fit make your service to Jehovah de better, and then try to follow the advice. If you do like that, you fit do that thing wey you don plan to do or receive that assignment. ⁸ The first slave go don really happy as e receive five talent from e master. That one na really big money. This one  show say the master trust this slave no be small! But what about the second slave? The second slave for don dey sad because the talents wey e receive no plenty reach the one wey the first slave receive. But, wetin e do?

9. For the story, wetin Jesus no talk about the second slave? (Matthew 25:22, 23)

⁹ Read Matthew 25:22, 23. Jesus no talk say the second slave vex and carry the matter for mind because e receive only two talent. If my master no think say I de work hard, then maybe I go bury e money and de hustle for myself, instead of me to hustle for my master.’

¹⁰ Like the first slave, the second slave know say na important work e get from e master, and e do e best to serve e master. Because of this one, e double the money wey e receive from e master. The master reward the slave for e hard work. The master no only happy, but e still give the slave more work.

11. How we fit get more joy?

¹¹ For the same way, we fit get more joy when we put all our power for any work wey they give us to do for Jehovah’s organization. “Dey busy” for the preaching work, and work hard for congregation. (Acts 18:5; Heb. 10:24, 25) Prepare well for meeting so that you go fit encourage people with your comment. No play  with any student assignment wey you get for Life and Preaching meeting. If they tell you make you help to do work for congregation, make you do the work for the correct time and show say they fit trust you. No treat any assignment wey they give you as if them de use-am waste your time. Make you try to sabi your work more. (Prov. 22:29) If you de really work hard for Jehovah, wuna go tight more-more and you go get more joy. (Gal. 6:4) And this one go make-am dey more easy for you to dey happy with other people when they get work wey you for like to get.—Rom. 12:15; Gal. 5:26.

12. Wetin give Melissa and Nick more joy?

¹² You remember Melissa wey we talk about before? This sister for like to go Bethel or School for Kingdom Evangelizers. But even though say e no do this things wey e plan to do, e talk say: “I de do my best for my pioneer work, and I de try the different-different preaching style wey we get. This one don really make me get joy.” And when they no make Nick ministerial servant, how e cope? E talk say: “I put my mind for the assignment wey I fit do, like to preach and de encourage people for meeting with my comment. I still fill Bethel form and they call me the next year.”

13. Wetin go happen if you put all your power for the assignment wey you de do now? (Ecclesiastes 2:24)

¹³ If you put all your power for any assignment wey you de do now, you go receive more work for future? E fit happen, just the way e happen to Nick. But, if e no happen like that, you go still get more joy, like Melissa. And the thing wey you de do for Jehovah go make you really dey happy. (Read Ecclesiastes 2:24.) Another thing be say, you go over glad because you know say Jesus Christ our Master, like the things wey you de do.

14. Wetin we suppose to always remember when we think about the things wey we plan to do for the service of Jehovah?

¹⁴ If we de put all our mind for the assignment wey we get now, that one mean say we no go de try to do more work for Jehovah? No, no be so. Make we get plans wey go help us to make our preaching work de better and help our brothers and sisters more. Our plans go succeed if we use our sense and we know where we fit do reach, as we de think about how to help people instead of ourself.—Prov. 11:2; Acts 20:35.

15. Wetin be some things wey you fit plan to do wey fit help you get more joy?

¹⁵ Which things you fit plan to do? Beg Jehovah make e help you know plans wey your power reach. (Prov. 16:3; Jas. 1:5) You fit do one of the things wey we talk about for the  first paragraph of this article? For example, to do auxiliary or regular pioneer, to serve for Bethel, or to join for construction work.
