1. Ðɛ́ ɓɛ́ìn à gbo kpáa ɓɛ́ à ké Baɓoɔ kpáá-ɖɛ̀ ɓè cɛ̃́-cɛ̃́ múàùn dyi kpáìn nyɛ́?

 ONE young brother name Ben say, “I really like to study Bible prophecy.” You agree with him? Or you can feel that Bible prophecy too hard to understand? Maybe you can’t enjoy studying Bible prophecies. But when you learn why Jehovah put prophecy them in the Bible, maybe you will start liking them too.

2. Ðɛ́ cɛ̃́ɛ́-ɖɛ̀ nìà kɛɛ mu kɔ̃ɛ wùɖùìn nyɛ́?

² In this article, we will not only talk about why we must learn about Bible prophecies. But we will also see how we can study them. We will talk about two prophecy them in the book of Daniel and see how they can help us now-now when we understand them.

3. Ðɛ́ à mɛ nyu ɔ jù ké à dyi Baɓo kpáá-ɖɛ̀ ɖò jè múin wɔ̃̀ɔ̀ mɔ́ níɛ́?

³ If we want understand Bible prophecy we must ask for help. Let look at this example. Imagine you went to visit somewhere but you not know the place. But one of your friend that go with you know the place good-good. He know the main place yor na reach and he know where all the road them going. We sure you will be happy that your friend agree to come with you! That the same way Jehovah know the time we living in and everything that will happen in the future. So, to understand Bible prophecy, we must be humble and ask Jehovah to help us.​—Dan. 2:28; 2 Pet. 1:​19, 20.

4. Xwíníínɔ̀ nyɛ kɔ̃̀ jè Jɛhova nyuà ké wa céèà kpáá-ɖɛ̀ ɓè ɖé ɔ̀ wuɖuɔ̀ múɛ́? (Jɛ̀ɖèmádyá 29:11) (Dyé fótòɔ̀ ɖekè.)

⁴ Jehovah want his children them to be happy in the future just like any good parent. (Read Jeremiah 29:11.)  But Jehovah different from human parent because he tell us what will happen in the future, and he can always be correct. He choose some men them to write down prophecies in the Bible to help us know important thing them before they happen. (Isa. 46:10) Bible prophecies that good gifts from our heavenly Father. But how you can be sure that what the Bible say about the future will really come true?

5. Ðɛ́ Máà nyuu-ɖɛ̀ɔ̀ tɛ̀mɛ̀ìn nyɔ gmɔ̀ ɓè kɛ́?

⁵ In school, our young people can be around other people who not get any respect for the Bible. Sometime the thing them they can say and do can make our young people them to start thinking whether the thing them they learn from the Bible that true. Let see the experience of one brother name Max. He say, “When I was in school, I was not sure that what my parents were teaching me was the truth and that the Bible was coming from God.” Wetin his parents do? He say, “They never get vex with me even though they were worrying about me.” Max ma and pa use the Bible to answer his question them. Max do something too. He say “I study Bible prophecy for myself, and I explain what I learn to other young people.” What happen because of that? Max say, “After that, I was convince that the Bible was really from God!”

6. Ðɛ́ m̀ kɔ̃̀ m̀ ké nyu ɔ jù kè ɖɛ ɖò dyi m̀ hwìɖìi-kpèìn níɛ́, ké xwíníínɔ̀ nyɛ kɔ̃̀ jèɛ̀?

⁶ Like Max, if you get doubt, or not too sure that the Bible get the truth, don’t feel bad. But it really important for you to do something about it quick-quick. When we not too sure about what the Bible say, it can be looking just like when rust on something that important to us. If we not do anything about the rust, it will spoil that important thing. So, for you to remove the doubt and be convince about what the Bible say, you must ask yourself this question, ‘I believe what the Bible say about what will happen in the future?’ If you not sure, then you must study Bible prophecies that already na come true. Let see how you can do it.

7. Ðɛ́ mɔ̀ ɓo-bɛ̃̀ nɔ̀mɔ̀ dyíin ɓɛ́ Dànyá dè ma ɓá kà nyɔ ké kpáá-ɖɛ̀ cɛ̃́ɛ nyuɛɛ jè dyíɛ́? (Dànyá 12:10) (Dyé fótòɔ̀ ɖekè.)

⁷ The good example Daniel set can help us to know how to study prophecy. Daniel study Bible prophecy for good reason. He wanted to know the truth. Daniel was also humble. He knew that Jehovah will help people who know him and who will obey Him to understand Bible prophecy. (Dan. 2:​27, 28; read Daniel 12:10.) Daniel show that he was humble by relying on Jehovah for help. (Dan. 2:18) Daniel also take his time to study good-good. He made research in the part of the Bible that he was having that time. (Jer. 25:​11, 12; Dan. 9:2) How you can follow Daniel example?

8. Xwíníínɔ̀ nyɛ kɔ̃ jè nyɔ ɖíɛ́ ɓè seà jàà po kà Baɓo kpáá-ɖɛ̀ ɓè kpá jàà teeɛ́, kɛɛ ɖɛ́ à mɛ nyu kɛ́?

 ⁸ Think about your reason. You can study Bible prophecy because you really want know the truth? If your answer that yes, Jehovah will help you. (John 4:​23, 24; 14:​16, 17) But some people can study Bible prophecy for different-different reasons. Some of them can study to prove that the Bible not from God. They want use it to make their own decision about what right and what wrong. But, we must get the right reason for studying Bible prophecy. Also, they get one important quality can help us to understand Bible prophecy.

9. Ðɛ́ mɔ̀ kpeɖe nyɔ kɔ̃̀ ɔ ké ɓéɖé ɓɛ́ nyɔ ké Baɓo kpáá-ɖɛ̀ ɖò múin wɔ̃́ kɛ́? Zaìn kɔ̃in.

⁹ Be humble. Jehovah promise to help humble people. (Jas. 4:6) So we must pray to Jehovah to help us understand Bible prophecy. If we humble, we will also accept the help from the faithful slave who Jehovah using to give us spiritual food at the right time. (Luke 12:42) Jehovah like for things to be organize. So it make sense that he will use just one main way to help us understand the truths in the Bible.​—1 Cor. 14:33; Eph. 4:​4-6.

10. Ðɛ́ m̀ cɛ̃́ sɔ̀ìn ɖɛ kpá ma kà Ɛsɔ́ɖɔ́ gboɛɛ múɛ́?

¹⁰ Study good-good. Choose one prophecy that you like and study it good-good. That what one sister name Esther do. She wanted to learn more about prophecy them that talk about the coming of the Messiah. She say, “When I was 15 years old, I started looking for proof to see whether they write this prophecy them before Jesus time.” The thing them she learn from reading about the Dead Sea Scrolls convince her. She say, “They write some of them before Jesus time, so the prophecy them that was inside was really from God. I read some of them over and over just to understand them.” But she happy that she do her best to study and understand them. After she study different-different prophecies good-good, she say, “I can see for myself that what the Bible say that true!”

11. Xwɛ́ à nyu kà Baɓoɔ mɔ̀ jàà kɛɛ jè jàà po-po cá kpànà kɔ̃in dyéɛ kɛ́?

¹¹ When we see how some Bible prophecy them na happen, it can make us to trust Jehovah and the directions he can give us. Beside this one, Bible prophecies can tell us about our hope in the future. So when we study them, we will not worry too much even if we facing problems. Let talk small about two prophecy that Daniel write down that happening now-now. If we understand them, they will help us to make good decisions.

12. Ðɛ́ mɔ̀ “nɛɛ̀-kpà kè mɛ caìn-caìnɔ̀” xwíníín nyɛ́? (Dànyá 2:​41-​43)

¹² Read Daniel 2:​41-43. In the dream that Daniel explain the meaning to King Nebuchadnezzar, the big statue feet was  “iron mixed with soft clay.” When we compare this prophecy with other prophecy them in the books of Daniel and Revelation, we understand that the feet stand for America and Great Britain working together. They can work together and no government powerful more than them. Talking about this world power, Daniel say that ‘part of the kingdom will be strong and part of it will be weak.’ Why part of it weak? Because the common people, who stand for the soft clay, working against them. So, it make it hard for them to use all their power.” b

13. Ðɛ́ mɔ̀ jàà kpa ɖɛ̀ ɓè ɓɛ́ à ɓɛ́ìn cɛ̃́ɛ sepoɛɖe à wɔ̃́ kpáá-ɖɛ̀ nìà kɛ múin jè kɛ́?

¹³ We can learn important truths from the statue that Daniel talk about. We can learn plenty things especially from the feet of that statue. First, America and Britain na show that they get power. For example, they were among the country them that win World War I and World War II. But this world power na get weak and will continue to get weak because the citizen them can fight against the government and against each other. Second, this world power will be the last to rule before God Kingdom end all human government. Even though some time other country them can challenge America and Britain, they will not replace them. We know this because, “the stone” that stand for God Kingdom will destroy the feet, the part of the statue that stand for America and Great Britain.​—Dan. 2:​34, 35, 44, 45.

14. Xwɛ̀ kpáá-ɖɛ̀ ɓáa ɓo-pìɔ̀ mɔ̀a nɛɛ̀-kpà kè mɛ kɛ jè dyíɛɛ múin wɔ̃́-wɔ̃́ ɓɛ́ìn à gbo kpaà ɓɛ́ à ké ɖɛ nɔ̀mɔ̀ dyíin ɓè gbɔ poɛ́?

¹⁴ You convince that Daniel prophecy about the feet of iron and clay that true? If your answer that yes, then you will show it by the way you live your life. You will not focus on getting plenty money or material things because you know that this world will soon be destroy. (Luke 12:​16-21; 1 John 2:​15-17) When you understand this prophecy, it will also help you to see that the preaching and teaching work really important. (Matt. 6:33; 28:​18-20) After studying this prophecy, ask yourself this question, ‘The decision them I can make show that I convince that God Kingdom will soon destroy all human governments?’

15. Nyɛ́ ɓè mɔ̀à ‘Kã́á nìà ɖé xwía’ kè ‘Kã́á nìà ɖé zɔ̃̀in’ zɛ̃̀ɛ̀ kɛ́? (Dànyá 11:40 NWT)

¹⁵ Read Daniel 11:40. Daniel chapter 11 talk about two kings, or government them, who running competition with each other to be the world power. When we compare this prophecy with other prophecy them in the Bible, we get to know that “the king of the north” that Russia and other countries that supporting them. And “the king of the south” that America and Great Britain. That they the world power now-now. c

16. Ðɛ́ mɔ̀ fṹá-fũ̀à-ɖɛ̀ ɓè ɓɛ́ nyɔ ɓè tã́ìn ɖé ‘Kã́á nìà ɖé xwía’ gbɛ̀ɔ̀ múɛɛ ɖà dyí dyé ké?

¹⁶ The king of the north suffering God people that living in countries that this king ruling over. They na beat some  Jehovah Witnesses and put them in jail because they worshiping Jehovah. This bad treatment na make our brother and sister them faith strong in Jehovah and the Bible instead of making their faith weak. Why? Because our brother them know that the suffering they going through fulfilling the prophecy in the book of Daniel. d (Dan. 11:41) Knowing this one can help us to keep our hope strong and remain faithful to Jehovah.

17. Ðɛ́ mɔ̀ fṹá-fũ̀à-ɖɛ̀ ɓè ɓɛ́ Geɖepɔɔ nyɔ ɓèɔ̀ ɖà dyí dyé ɖé ‘Kã́á nìà ɖé zɔ̃̀in’ nyɛɛ kpé xwíɖi kɛ́?

¹⁷ Way back, “the king of the south” also suffer Jehovah people. For example, they suffer plenty of our brother them during World War I and World War II by putting them in jail. Why? Because they refuse to fight in the war. Also, the school them gave some witness children NTR (Never to Return) because they refuse to salute the flag. In recent time, Jehovah people who living in the area them where the king of the south ruling over, na face  other problems that making it hard for them to stay loyal to God Kingdom. For example, during election time, some of our brother them can face the temptation to support one political party. Even though they will not vote, but sometime in their heart they can be wishing for certain political party to win the election. If we not want be part of the politics in this world, we must be careful about what we do, what we think on and how we feel about what happening around us!​—John 15:​18, 19; 18:36.

18. Ðɛ́ à nyu ɓá vɔ̃-vɔ̃ɔ̀ nìà ‘Kã́á nìà ɖé xwía’ kè ‘Kã́á nìà ɖé zɔ̃̀ìn’ nyɛ pṹa kɛɛ jè dyíɛ́ɛ́? (Dyé fótòɔ̀ ɖekè.)

¹⁸ People who not believe Bible prophecy can worry bad way when they see “the king of the south” and “the king of the north” going against each other. (Dan. 11:40) The two kings get bombs that can kill every living thing on earth. But we know that Jehovah will not allow that one to happen. (Isa. 45:18) That why we can’t worry about the future when we see “the king of the north” and “the king of the south” going against each other. Instead, their hatred for each other making our faith strong. It prove that this wicked world will soon end.

19. Ðɛ́ à mɛ dyuò dyí ɓá Baɓo kpáá-ɖɛ̀ ɓè jè dyíɛ́?

¹⁹ We not know how some Bible prophecy them will come to pass. Even the prophet Daniel never understand the meaning of everything he wrote down. (Dan. 12:​8, 9) But just because we not know how certain prophecy will come true not mean that it will not happen. We sure that Jehovah will help us to understand what we need to know the right time, just how he do it way back.​—Amos 3:7.

20. Ðɛ́ mɔ̀ Baɓo kpáá-ɖɛ̀ nɔ̀mɔ̀ dyíin ɓè kɔ̃̀ jàà kpá-kpá ɓɛ́ à mu dyéìn kàùn wɛ̃́, ké ɖɛ́ à mɛ nyu tee kɛ́?

²⁰ People will make the announcement about “peace and security”. (1 Thess. 5:3) Then the government them in this world will attack false religion and destroy it. (Rev. 17:​16, 17) From there, they will attack God people. (Ezek. 38:​18, 19) And then the final war call Armageddon will start. (Rev. 16:​14, 16) We sure that this thing them will soon happen. But until that time, yor let continue to be grateful to our heavenly Father by paying attention to Bible prophecy and by helping other people to do the same thing.
