WHY JEHOVAH EXPECT SAY MAKE WE WAIT?

All the people wey de use all their heart wait for God go dey happy.” (Isa. 30:18) When prophet Isaiah write this message, e de talk to the nation of Israel wey no de obey Jehovah that time. (Isa. 30:1) But some people for the nation of Israel de worship Jehovah well, so wetin Isaiah talk give them hope. This thing wey Isaiah talk still de give Jehovah people hope today.

So, we must sofri wait because Jehovah de sofri wait. E don set time wey e go end this Satan wicked world, and e de wait make that day reach. (Matt. 24:36) By that time, e go don clear say everything wey Satan talk about Jehovah and Im people, na lie. Jehovah go destroy Satan and all the people wey support-am, but e go “show [us] pity.”

For now, Jehovah fit no remove the problem wey we de face, but e want make we know say we fit de happy even as we de wait. As Isaiah talk, we fit de happy as we de wait for good thing wey we de hope for. (Isa. 30:18) a Wetin fit help us de happy as we de wait? Make we talk about four things wey fit help us.

THINGS WEY FIT HELP US HAPPY AS WE DE WAIT

Always think about the good things wey de happen for your life. King David face plenty bad things for im life. (Ps. 37:35) Even with this one, e still write say: “Keep quiet for Jehovah front. Dey patient and wait for-am. No de vex because person succeed for the bad things wey e plan.” (Ps. 37:7) David follow this advice wey e write as e continue to put mind for the hope wey e get say Jehovah go save-am. E thank Jehovah for all the blessing wey e de receive from-am. (Ps. 40:5) For the same way, if we de think about the good things wey  de happen for our life now, instead to de vex because of the bad things wey de happen around us, e go make-am easy for us to wait for Jehovah.

Use every chance wey you get praise Jehovah. The person wey write Psalm 71 tell Jehovah say: “I go continue to wait for you; I go de praise you more-more.” (Ps. 71:14) E fit be say na David write this Psalm. How e take praise Jehovah? E tell other people about-am and sing song to praise-am. (Ps. 71:​16, 23) Just like David, we fit continue to happy as we de wait for Jehovah. We fit do this one when we de preach to people, when we de talk to our friends and family member about Jehovah, and when we de sing to praise-am. The next time wey you sing one of our song them, take time think about the words for the song and how e de make you feel.

De spend time with brothers and sisters. When David de face problem, e tell Jehovah say: “I go praise you for where your people wey hold you tight dey, I go put hope for your name because e good.” (Ps. 52:9) Like David, to de spend time with other servants of Jehovah go help us continue to de happy as we de wait for Jehovah. And no be only when we de preach or for meeting we fit spend time with them. We fit still spend time with them when we gather to enjoy ourself together.—Rom. 1:​11, 12.

Make your hope strong. Psalm 62:5 talk say: “I keep quiet, and sofri wait for God because na im de give me hope.” To get strong hope mean say we go trust with all our heart say wetin we de wait for must happen. Strong hope really dey important, especially if the end no come the time wey we be expect. So no matter how long we go wait, make we believe with all our heart say wetin Jehovah promise, must happen. We fit make our hope strong when we de study Bible. For example, we fit study about the things wey Bible talk say go happen, how all the message for Bible connect, and wetin Jehovah don show us for Bible about imself. (Ps. 1:2, 3) As we de wait for the time wey Jehovah go bring Paradise, we still need to continue to pray say make Jehovah use im holy spirit help us make we fit continue to make our friendship with-am strong.—Jude 20, 21.

Like King David, make you know say Jehovah de see all the people wey de sofri wait for-am, and e de show them im love wey no de fail. (Ps. 33:​18, 22) Continue to think about the good things wey de happen for your life now, de praise Jehovah, spend time with brothers and sisters, and make your hope strong. All this one go help you continue to de happy, as you de wait for the time wey Jehovah go destroy Satan world.
