‘Ka Ziova fɛli a lii-nɛ̃ɛ pere.’ŊU. 100:2.

WHAT THE MAIN POINT?

In this article, we will talk about some things we can do to be more happy in the field service.

1. Nua taŋa lii a kɛ leŋ da kɛ lonoi nua pɔ ŋala-woo-ɓo tii su? (Ya pɔri ŋɔnɔ votooi kaai.)

WE, JEHOVAH witnesses can preach to people because we love our heavenly father and we want them to know him too. Most of the publishers can enjoy the preaching work. But some of our brothers and sisters can find it hard to enjoy it. Why? Some of them get shame face and they feel that they not able to teach good. Some of them can’t feel free to just go to people house when they not invite them. Some of them can be scary because they feel that people will not listen to them. Some of them na learn to not make people vex. Even though this brother and sister them really love Jehovah, they can still find it hard to preach to strangers. But they know that the preaching work really important, so they can always try their best to do it. And this one can really make Jehovah happy!

You can enjoy the field service? (See paragraph 1)

2. A kɛ tãi ta ifa ŋala-woo-ɓo tii ŋaa-nɛ̃ɛ kula, le mɛni ɓe ilii fe too la polui?

2 You can find it hard sometime to enjoy the field service because of feeling them like this? If that what can happen to you, don’t be discourage. The fact that you feeling like that, show that you humble and you not want people to focus on you too much. Nobody like for people to get vex with them, especially when they trying to help other people. Your heavenly Father know all the things you passing through and he want help you. (Isa. 41:13) In this article, we will talk about five different-different ways we can deal with that kind na feeling, and what we can do to enjoy the field service.

NƐƐ NAA ŊALA-KƆLƆI E IKPONOI KPANAŊ

3. Le ɓe kpɔŋ maa tɛɛ Ɣala ŋɔlono-kɛ-nuui Zɛlemaya pɔ a gɛɛ e ɣala-woo-ɓo nua dia?

3 Way back, God message gave his servants the strength when they were having difficult work to do. Take for example, the prophet Jeremiah. He was worry when Jehovah gave him the assignment to preach. Jeremiah say: “I do not know how to speak, for I am just a boy.” (Jer. 1:6) What help him to get the courage to preach? That the encouragement God gave him. So Jeremiah say: “It became like a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was tired of holding it in.” (Jer. 20:8, 9) Even though the people in Jeremiah territory never wanted to listen, but he got strength from the message God give him to preach.

4. Le ɓe a kɛ kwa Ŋala-kɔlɔi lono ku kukili-ŋa sia e pilaŋ ma? (Kolasiɛŋ 1:9, 10)

4 We can get strength from what we read in God word the Bible. The time the apostle Paul was writing to the congregation in Colossae, he say that learning the truth about God will help them “to walk worthily of Jehovah” as they continue “bearing fruit in every good work.” (Read Colossians 1:9, 10.) That good work include preaching the good news. So when we read God Word and think on it, our faith in Jehovah will be strong and we will know that the preaching work really important.

5. Le ɓe kwa pɔri gɛi a gɛɛ ku mɛni lɛlɛɛ sɔlɔ ɓo Kuɣala-kɔlɔ lonoɔi su?

5 To benefit from our Bible reading, we must not rush when we reading, studying, and when we thinking about what we read. Take your time. If you see any Bible verse that you not understand, don’t jump over it. Use the Watch Tower Publications Index or the Research Guide for Jehovah’s Witnesses to see how they explain the verse. If you take your own time when you studying, it will make your trust in the Bible more strong. (1 Thess. 5:21) The more you convince yourself, that the more you will enjoy telling people what you learning.

IKPIŊ KPƐTƐ A NƐLƐƐ ŊALA-WOO-ƁO TII MƐNI MA

6. Le mɛni ɓe maa nɛ̃ɛi ku kukpiŋ kpɛtɛ la a nɛlɛɛ ŋala-woo-ɓo tii mɛni ma?

6 If you prepare good for field service, you will not be worrying too much about talking with people. Jesus help his disciples to prepare before going field service. (Luke 10:1-11) Because they apply what Jesus teach them, they were happy because they were able to do plenty good things in field service.—Luke 10:17.

7. Kwa pɔri kukpiŋ kpɛtɛi leŋ ŋala-woo-ɓo tii mɛni ma? (Ya pɔri ŋɔnɔ votooi kaai.)

7 How we can prepare for field service? We need to think on what to say and how to say it in our own words. It also good to think about what people in the territory will say or do, and how we will answer them. Then when we talking with people, we must try to be relax, smile and be friendly.

Prepare good-good for field service (See paragraph 7)

8. Pere sii kɛɛ leŋ ɓe Korai-ɓela dikaa la yɛɛ bɔrɔ-leɣii nyii zia-nuui Pɔɔ e lono e pilaŋ ma ŋɔmɛni-kɔɔŋ-maai su?

8 The apostle Paul use one example about the part we get to play in the preaching work. He say: “We have this treasure in earthen vessels.” (2 Cor. 4:7) Wetin Paul mean by this treasure? That the preaching work that can save people life. (2 Cor. 4:1) Who the earthen vessels? That God servants who can preach the good news to other people. During Paul day, people use to use clay pot to carry important goods like, food, wine, and money. That the same way Jehovah using us to preach the good news. With Jehovah help, we can get the strength we need to preach the good news.

ƔALA FƐLI LII-KPELE MƐNI MA

9. Le ɓe kwa pɔri gɛi a gɛɛ kuyee e tɛɛ nuu-kpune ŋɔyao-maai ma? (Ya pɔri ŋɔnɔ votooi kaai.)

9 Sometime, we can be scary to preach to people. What can help us to not be scary? Think about the prayer the apostles made when the people told them to stop preaching. Instead of being scary, they ask Jehovah to help them “to keep speaking [his] word with all boldness.” Right away, Jehovah answer their prayer. (Acts 4:18, 29, 31) If we can be scary to preach to people sometime, we too must ask Jehovah for help. Ask Jehovah to help you get strong love for people so you can’t be scare to preach to them.

Pray for courage (See paragraph 9)

10. Ziova a kpɔŋ leŋ kua a gɛɛ ku pɔri ŋala-woo-ɓo tii kɛi? (Azaya 43:10-12)

10 Jehovah na choose us to be his Witnesses, and he promise to give us the courage to preach. (Read Isaiah 43:10-12.) Let see four ways he can do it. (1) Jesus can be with us anywhere we preaching the good news. (Matt. 28:18-20) (2) Jehovah na appoint angels to help us. (Rev. 14:6) (3) Jehovah gave us his holy spirit that can help us to remember the things we learn. (John 14:25, 26) (4) Jehovah na give us our brothers and sisters to work with us. With Jehovah help and the support we getting from our brothers and sisters, we get everything we need to be successful.

IƔALA-WOO-ƁO PEREI MAA FALEŊ, KILI-ŊA-SIA LƐLƐƐ E KƐ IYEEI

11. Ya kɛ ŋala-woo-ɓo tii su, ya pɔri nua tamaa kaai leŋ? (Ya pɔri ŋɔnɔ votooi kaai.)

11 You can feel discourage when you not finding plenty people to their house? Then it good to think on this question them: ‘Where I can find the people in my territory right now?’ (Acts 16:13) ‘They gone to work or they gone in the market to buy or to sell?’ You not think it will be good to start doing street witnessing so you can find more people? One brother name Joshua say, “I na find way to start talking with people in their shops and other places where people can be.” He and his wife, Bridget, na also find more people to their house in the evening and on Sunday afternoon.—Eph. 5:15, 16.

Be willing to change the place and time you can preach (See paragraph 11)

12. Le ɓe a kpɔŋ kua a gɛɛ ku mɛnii kɔlɔŋ nua laai la kpaa mɛnii da dikili-ŋa siai e pilaŋ mai?

12 If people not really showing interest in the message, try to know what they thinking on or what they believe in. When Joshua and Bridget start talking with people, they can use the question that on the tract. For example, when they using the tract What You Think About the Bible, they can ask people this question: “Some people can look at the Bible to be God Word, but other people get different idea. What you think?” This one can make the person to start talking with them.

13. Le mɛni ɓe kulii a nɛ̃ɛ la a nɛɛ maŋ nua da wala diyee see duŋ lɛlɛɛi mu? (Tare-woo-ŋa 27:11)

13 To be successful in the field service not depend on whether people listen to us or not. Why we say so? Because we doing what Jehovah and his son want us to do, and that to preach the good news. (Acts 10:42) Even if we not find anybody to talk with or nobody want listen to us, we can be happy because we know that we making our heavenly Father happy.—Read Proverbs 27:11.

14. Le mɛni ɓe kulii a kɛ a nɛ̃ɛ la a kɛ kuɓaraŋ ɣala-woo-ɓo-nuu a nuu ta kaa nyii ŋwɛlii e ŋoli tɔɔi?

14 We can also be happy when another publisher find interested person in the territory. The Watchtower compare our work to looking for child that lost. Plenty people can go different-different places to look for that child. When they find the child, everybody can be happy, that not just the person who find him. That the same way the preaching work looking. All of us working together. We need everybody in the congregation to preach in the territory, and all of us can be happy when somebody start coming to the meetings.

IŊƐI E KƐ IWƐLI-KƐ-MAAI MA ZIOVA MƐNI MA DA IKƆLƐ-MA-ƁELAI

15. Kwa sia a nia-wooi nyii gaa Maafiu 22:37-39 sui, a kpɔŋ leŋ kua a gɛɛ ku kuɣala-woo-ɓo tii kɛ a kulii kelee? (Ya pɔri ŋɔnɔ votooi watchtower tuɛ-laa mai kaai.)

15 We can get more zeal for the field service by focusing on our love for Jehovah and for people. (Read Matthew 22:37-39.) Just think about how Jehovah can be happy when he see us doing this work, and how people can be happy when they start studying the Bible! Think about the kind na life people will enjoy in the future when they listen and apply the things we teaching them. —John 6:40; 1 Tim. 4:16.

Focusing on our love for Jehovah and for people can help us to really enjoy our field service (See paragraph 15)

16. Kwa pɔri lii-nɛ̃ɛ sɔlɔ ɓoi leŋ kuɣala-woo-ɓo tii su kɔlɔ-fela a gɛ kufe pɔri kulai kupɛrɛi la? Gɔɔŋ-maa lɛ.

16 You not able to leave from your house for some reasons? If that what happening to you, focus on what you can do to show love for Jehovah and for people. During the Corona virus time, Samuel and his wife, Dania were force to stay to their house. Even though it was not easy for them that time, they still use to preach to people on phone, write letters, and conduct Bible study on zoom. When Samuel use to go to the clinic for his cancer treatment, he use to preach to the people he see there. He say: “When thing not easy for us, we can be worry, tire and it can even test our faith. We need to look for ways to be happy in serving Jehovah. Why we were going through this problem, Dania got sick, they put her on bed for three months. Then she started using wheelchair for six months. She say: “I try my best to preach to the nurse who was taking care of me and the people who use to bring things to my house. I also enjoy talking on the phone with one woman who was working for one medical company.” Even though Samuel and Dania were not able to do more in the field service because of their situation, but they still do their best, and they enjoy it.

17. Ya pɔri mɛni lɛlɛɛ tamaa sɔlɔ ɓoi leŋ nia-woo-ŋai su gaa zɛŋ-lɛɛi ŋi sui?

17 You can only benefit from the thing them you na learn in this article when you do all of them together. Each point looking like one of the season you can put in soup. When you put all the different-different season in the soup, it can make the soup sweet. That the same way when we apply all the points we na learn from this article, we will be able to overcome discouragement, and be more happy in the field service.
