On March 31, 2021, the Oktyabrskiy District Court of St. Petersburg declared the JW Library app extremist and banned its use throughout the Russian Federation and Crimea. The ban is subject to immediate implementation. Users are already having difficulty accessing the app. The ruling will be appealed.
