(2 Pet. 1:19-21) The last book of the Bible start like this: “A revelation by Jesus Christ, which God gave him, to show his slaves the things that must shortly take place.” (Rev. 1:1) So we really get interest in the thing them that happening in the world now-now and to know how they will fulfill Bible prophecy. And sometime we can really want talk about this thing them among ourselves.

When we talking about Bible prophecy, wetin we must not do and what we must do? (See paragraphs 5) b

5 But when we talking about Bible prophecy, we must not say something that we not get proof for. Why? Because we not want say anything that will divide the congregation. For example, maybe we hear the politician them talking about how they can solve one main problem and bring peace and security. When we hear thing them like this, we must not say that they fulfilling the prophecy in 1 Thessalonians 5:3, but we must try to get the latest information from Jehovah organization. When we talk about thing them that in the publication, it will help the congregation to remain united “in the same line of thought.”—1 Cor. 1:10; 4:6.

For us to continue focusing on this, we must pay attention to ourselves.

7. Xwɛ̀ à nyuɛ tɛ̀mɛ̀ìn kà ɓɛ́ à nì à hwòɖò-dyùàɔ̀ dyi kpɔ̃uń wɛ̃́? (Ðúù 21:34)

7 Jesus told his disciple them to pay attention to the thing them that happening in the world. But he also told them to pay attention to their selves. He made this point clear in Luke 21:34. (Read.) He said: “Pay attention to yourselves.” Someone who can pay attention to himself can be watching to see anything that can spoil his friendship with Jehovah, and then he try to avoid it. Like that, he will continue to get good friendship with God.—Prov. 22:3; Jude 20, 21.

8. Ðɛ́ mɔ̀à ná-wùɖù ɓɛ́ àpɔ́sò Pɔ́ɔ̀ nyí ma Kɛ́ɖɛ́ì ɖéín-sí-nyɔ̀ ɓè kɛ́?

8 The apostle Paul told the Christian them to pay attention to their selves. For example, he told the Christian them in Ephesus: “Keep strict watch that how you walk is not as unwise but as wise persons.” (Eph. 5:15, 16) Satan always trying to spoil our friendship with Jehovah. 9. Xwɛ̀ à nyu Jɛhova mɔ́ɔ́-ɖɛ̀ ɓó à bììɛɛ múin wɔ̃́ɔ kɛ́?

9 The Bible not tell us everything that can spoil our friendship with Jehovah. Most of the time we can make decisions on things the Bible not talk about word-for-word. So, for us to make good decisions, we must perceive or try to know what Jehovah want us to do. We can do this one by always studying the Bible and thinking on it. The more we understand what Jehovah want us to do and try to think like Jesus, that the more we will make good decisions even if we not get rules to tell us what to do. (1 Cor. 2:14-16) Sometimes it can be easy for us to see thing them that we must avoid. But sometimes it can’t be easy.

10. Ðɛ́ mɔ̀à ɖɛ gbà ɖíɛ́ ɓè à kɔ̃̀ à ké dyi ɓàɖàìn nyɛ́?

10 Some of the bad thing them we must avoid that drinking too much, eating over plus, saying things that can hurt people, playing with somebody feeling that you not get interest in, watching action show, looking at naked man and naked woman picture, and other thing them like this. (Ps. 101:3) Our enemy, Satan, always looking for way to spoil our friendship with Jehovah. (1 Pet. 5:8) If we not careful, he will put thing them in our heart like envy, pride, greed, hatred, holding grudge, and not honest. (Gal. 5:19-21) From the beginning, maybe you will think say this thing them not too bad. But if we not try hard to take it from in our heart quick-quick, they will continue to grow like one plant that get poison and cause trouble.—Jas. 1:14, 15.

11 One trap we must avoid, that bad friends. Let look at this example. You working with someone who not Jehovah Witness. You want your workmate to think good about Jehovah Witnesses, so you try to be good to the person. Maybe yor can eat together one-one time. Before you look, yor always eating together. Sometime when yor lecturing, your workmate can bring some rude-rude thing them inside but from the beginning you never use to like it. Later on, you start getting use to that kind na lecture and you can’t get vex again. Then one day, your workmate say yor must go drink after work, and you agree. Small-small, you start thinking like your workmate. You think it will stay long for you to start doing things like your workmate? Even though we want be kind and respect everybody, we must remember that we will be like the people we spend time with. (1 Cor. 15:33) If we follow Jesus advice to pay attention to ourselves, we will not spend too much time with people who not serving Jehovah. (2 Cor. 6:15) We will see the problem and stay away from it.

12 Jesus wanted his disciple them to be busy when they waiting for this world to end. He told them to preach the good news “in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the most distant part of the earth.” (Acts 1:6-8) That was not small work Jesus gave his disciple them! They use their time the best way by working hard in the preaching work.

13. Ðɛ́ kɔ̃̀ jè à kɔ̃̀ à ké à tiɔ̀ kũ̀à mú nyùìn nɔ̀mɔ̀ dyíin nyɛ́? (Kɔ̀ɖɔ́sĩ̀à 4:5)

13 Read Colossians 4:5. To pay attention to ourselves, we must think good-good about the way we using our time. Because anything can happen to any of us. (Eccl. 9:11) We can die anytime.

14-15. Xwɛ̀ à ɓɛ́ìn à tiɔ̀ kũ̀à mú nyùìn nɔ̀mɔ̀ dyíin nyɛ́? (Híìbúɖúù 6:11, 12) (Gmɔ̀ dyi-dyé-ɖɛ̀ɔ̀ dyá ɖekè.)

14 We can use our time the best way by obeying Jehovah and making our friendship with him strong. (John 14:21) We need to “be steadfast, immovable, always having plenty to do in the work of the Lord.” (1 Cor. 15:58) Then if we die or this system end we will not say, ‘if I knew I was coming do more.’—Matt. 24:13; Rom. 14:8.

15 Today, Jesus continue to direct his disciple them to preach about God Kingdom all over the earth. He na fulfill his promise to be with them. Through Jehovah organization, Jesus training us to know how to preach and he na gave us the thing them we need to do the preaching work. (Matt. 28:18-20) We can do our part by working hard to preach and teach other people. And also by keeping on the watch and waiting for Jehovah to end this system. We can keep our hope strong “down to the end” by doing what Hebrews 6:11, 12 say.—Read.

16. Ðɛ́ à mu vɔ̃̀ùn ɓɛ́ à ké nyuɛ́?

16 Jehovah get one main day and hour he will end Satan world. When that day come, Jehovah will make sure to fulfill all the prophecy them that in the Bible. Sometime we can think that the end of this world delaying. But Jehovah day “will not be late!” (Hab. 2:3) So yor let fight hard to “keep on the lookout for Jehovah,” showing “a waiting attitude for the God of [our] salvation.”—Mic. 7:7.
