Numbers 33:1-56
33 These are the stages of the march of the sons of Israel as they came out of Egypt in full force under Moses and Aaron;
2 * and Moses wrote down their outward marches stage by stage at Jehovah’s direction. And these are their stages, outward march by march.
3 They marched from Raʽmeses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the day after the passover the sons of Israel went out with a high hand in sight of all the Egyptians,
4 while the Egyptians were burying those whom Jehovah had killed among them, every firstborn son—and on their gods Jehovah executed judgments.
5 And the sons of Israel marched from Raʽmeses and camped at Succoth.
6 * And they marched from Succoth and camped at Etham on the edge of the wilderness.
7 And they marched from Etham and went back by Pi-hahiroth which faces Baal-Sephon, and camped in front of Migdol.
8 And they marched from Pi-hahiroth and crossed through the middle of the sea to the wilderness, and went three days’ journey in the wilderness of Etham and camped at Marah.
9 And they marched from Marah and came to Elim; and at Elim there were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees; and they camped there.
10 And they marched from Elim and camped by the Red Sea.
11 And they marched from the Red Sea and camped in the wilderness of Sin.
12 And they marched from the wilderness of Sin and camped at Dophkah.
13 And they marched from Dophkah and camped at Alush.
14 And they marched from Alush and camped at Rephidim; and there was no water there for the people to drink.
15 And they marched from Rephidim and camped in the wilderness of Sinai.
16 And they marched from the wilderness of Sinai and camped at Kibroth-hat-Taavah.
17 And they marched from Kibroth-hat-Taavah and camped at Haseroth.
18 And they marched from Haseroth and camped at Rithmah.
19 And they marched from Rithmah and camped at Rimmon-Peres.
20 And they marched from Rimmon-Peres and camped at Libnah.
21 And they marched from Libnah and camped at Rissah.
22 And they marched from Rissah and camped at Kehelathah.
23 And they marched from Kehelathah and camped at Mount Shepher.
24 And they marched from Mount Shepher and camped at Haradah.
25 And they marched from Haradah and camped at Makheloth.
26 And they marched from Makheloth and camped at Tahath.
27 And they marched from Tahath and camped at Terah.
28 And they marched from Terah and camped at Mithkah.
29 And they marched from Mithkah and camped at Hashmonah.
30 And they marched from Hashmonah and camped at Moseroth.
31 And they marched from Moseroth and camped among the Bene-Jaʽakan.
32 And they marched from the Bene-Jaʽakan and camped at Hor-hag-Gidgad.
33 And they marched from Hor-hag-Gidgad and camped at Jotbathah.
34 And they marched from Jotbathah and camped at ʽAbronah.
35 And they marched from ʽAbronah and camped at Ghesjon-Geber.
36 And they marched from Ghesjon-Geber and camped in the wilderness of Sin (that is, Kadesh).
37 And they marched from Kadesh and camped at Mount Hor in the edge of Edom,
38 and Priest Aaron went up on Mount Hor by Jehovah’s direction and died there in the year forty of the exodus of the sons of Israel from Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first of the month;
39 and Aaron was a hundred and twenty-three years old when he died on Mount Hor.
40 And the Canaanite, the king of ʽArad, who lived in Canaan in the South, heard of the coming of the sons of Israel.
41 And they marched from Mount Hor and camped at Salmonah.
42 And they marched from Salmonah and camped at Punon.
43 And they marched from Punon and camped at Oboth.
44 And they marched from Oboth and camped a ʽIjim across the river on the boundary of Moab.
45 And they marched from ʽIjim and camped at Dibon-Gad.
46 And they marched from Dibon-Gad and camped at ʽAlmon-Diblathaim.
47 And they marched from ʽAlmon-Diblathaim and camped on the highlands across the river before Nebo.
48 And they marched from the highlands across the river and camped on the Moab flats by the Jordan at Jericho,
49 and camped along the Jordan from Beth-ha-Jeshimoth to Acacia Meadow on the Moab flats.
50 And Jehovah spoke to Moses on the Moab flats by the Jordan at Jericho saying
51 “Tell the sons of Israel, When you go over the Jordan into Canaan
52 you shall dispossess all the inhabitants of the count before you, and destroy all their pictures and destroy all their metal images and wreck all their heights,
53 and dispossess the country and live in it, because I have given the country to you to take possession of.
54 And you shall have your estates assigned in the country by lot clan by clan, giving the more numerous more of an estate and the less numerous less of an estate; what the lot for one comes out for he shall have; you shall have your estates assigned by family tribes.
55 And if you do not dispossess the inhabitants of the country before you, those who are left over of them shall be prickles in your eyes and thorns in your sides, and shall assail you in the country you live in;
56 and as I expected to do to them I will do to you.”
