1 Corinthians 16:1-24

16  Περὶ Aboutδὲ butτῆς theλογίας collectionτῆς the (one)εἰς toτοὺς theἁγίους, holy (ones),ὥσπερ as-evenδιέταξα I orderedταῖς to theἐκκλησίαις ecclesiasτῆς of theΓαλατίας, Galatia,οὕτως thusκαὶ alsoὑμεῖς YOUποιήσατε. do YOU. 2  κατὰ According toμίαν one (day)σαββάτου of sabbathἕκαστος each (one)ὑμῶν of YOUπαρ’ besideἑαυτῷ himselfτιθέτω let him be puttingθησαυρίζων treasuring upὅτι whatἐὰν if everεὐοδῶται, he may be making his way well,ἵνα in order thatμὴ notὅταν wheneverἔλθω I should comeτότε thenλογίαι collectionsγίνωνται. may be occurring. 3  ὅταν Wheneverδὲ butπαραγένωμαι, I should come to be alongside,οὓς whomἐὰν if everδοκιμάσητε YOU should approve ofδι’ throughἐπιστολῶν, letters,τούτους these (ones)πέμψω I shall sendἀπενεγκεῖν to bear offτὴν theχάριν graceὑμῶν of YOUεἰς intoἸερουσαλήμ· Jerusalem; 4  ἐὰν if everδὲ butἄξιον worthyᾖ it may beτοῦ of theκἀμὲ also meπορεύεσθαι, to be going,σὺν together withἐμοὶ meπορεύσονται. they will go. 5  ᾿Ελεύσομαι I shall comeδὲ butπρὸς towardὑμᾶς YOUὅταν wheneverΜακεδονίαν Macedoniaδιέλθω, I should come through,Μακεδονίαν Macedoniaγὰρ forδιέρχομαι, I am coming through, 6  πρὸς towardὑμᾶς YOUδὲ butτυχὸν (thing) having happenedκαταμενῶ I shall remain downἢ orπαραχειμάσω, I shall pass the winter,ἵνα in order thatὑμεῖς YOUμε meπροπέμψητε YOU should send forwardοὗ whereἐὰν if everπορεύωμαι. I may go. 7  οὐ Notθέλω I am willingγὰρ forὑμᾶς YOUἄρτι right nowἐν inπαρόδῳ way besideἰδεῖν, to see,ἐλπίζω I am hopingγὰρ forχρόνον timeτινὰ someἐπιμεῖναι to remain uponπρὸς towardὑμᾶς, YOU,ἐὰν if everὁ theκύριος Lordἐπιτρέψῃ. should permit. 8  ἐπιμένω I am remaining uponδὲ butἐν in᾿Εφέσῳ Ephesusἕως untilτῆς theπεντηκοστῆς· Pentecost; 9  θύρα doorγάρ forμοι to meἀνέῳγεν has stood opened upμεγάλη greatκαὶ andἐνεργής, working within,καὶ andἀντικείμενοι (ones) lying opposedπολλοί. many. 10  ᾿Εὰν If everδὲ butἔλθῃ should comeΤιμόθεος, Timothy,βλέπετε be YOU lookingἵνα thatἀφόβως fearlesslyγένηται he should becomeπρὸς towardὑμᾶς, YOU,τὸ theγὰρ forἔργον workΚυρίου of Lordἐργάζεται he is workingὡς asἐγώ· I; 11  μή notτις anyoneοὖν thereforeαὐτὸν himἐξουθενήσῃ. he should treat as nothing;προπέμψατε send YOU forwardδὲ butαὐτὸν himἐν inεἰρήνῃ, peace,ἵνα in order thatἔλθῃ he should comeπρός towardμε, me,ἐκδέχομαι I am awaitingγὰρ forαὐτὸν himμετὰ withτῶν theἀδελφῶν. brothers. 12  Περὶ Aboutδὲ but᾿Απολλὼ Apollosτοῦ theἀδελφοῦ, brother,πολλὰ many (things)παρεκάλεσα I entreatedαὐτὸν himἵνα in order thatἔλθῃ he should comeπρὸς towardὑμᾶς YOUμετὰ withτῶν theἀδελφῶν· brothers;καὶ andπάντως altogetherοὐκ notἦν it wasθέλημα willἵνα in order thatνῦν nowἔλθῃ, he should come,ἐλεύσεται he will comeδὲ butὅταν wheneverεὐκαιρήσῃ. he might have opportunity. 13  Γρηγορεῖτε, Be YOU keeping awake,στήκετε be YOU standingἐν inτῇ theπίστει, faith,ἀνδρίζεσθε, be YOU carrying on as male persons,κραταιοῦσθε. be YOU being mighty. 14  πάντα All (things)ὑμῶν of YOUἐν inἀγάπῃ loveγινέσθω. let it occur. 15  Παρακαλῶ I am encouragingδὲ butὑμᾶς, YOU,ἀδελφοί· brothers;οἴδατε YOU have knownτὴν theοἰκίαν houseΣτεφανᾶ, of Stephanas,ὅτι thatἐστὶν it isἀπαρχὴ firstfruitsτῆς of the᾿Αχαίας Achaiaκαὶ andεἰς intoδιακονίαν serviceτοῖς to theἁγίοις holy (ones)ἔταξαν they orderly setἑαυτούς· selves; 16  ἵνα in order thatκαὶ alsoὑμεῖς YOUὑποτάσσησθε may be subjecting yourselvesτοῖς to theτοιούτοις such (ones)καὶ andπαντὶ to everyoneτῷ theσυνεργοῦντι working togetherκαὶ andκοπιῶντι. laboring. 17  χαίρω I am rejoicingδὲ butἐπὶ uponτῇ theπαρουσίᾳ presenceΣτεφανᾶ of Stephanasκαὶ andΦορτουνάτου of Fortunatusκαὶ and᾿Αχαϊκοῦ, of Achaicus,ὅτι becauseτὸ theὑμέτερον YOURὑστέρημα coming behindοὗτοι these (ones)ἀνεπλήρωσαν, filled up, 18  ἀνέπαυσαν they made rest upγὰρ forτὸ theἐμὸν myπνεῦμα spiritκαὶ andτὸ the (one)ὑμῶν. of YOU.ἐπιγινώσκετε Be YOU recognizingοὖν thereforeτοὺς theτοιούτους. such (ones). 19  ᾿Ασπάζονται Are greetingὑμᾶς YOUαἱ theἐκκλησίαι ecclesiasτῆς of the᾿Ασίας. Asia.ἀσπάζεται Is greetingὑμᾶς YOUἐν inκυρίῳ Lordπολλὰ many things᾿Ακύλας Aquilaκαὶ andΠρίσκα Priscaσὺν together withτῇ theκατ’ according toοἶκον houseαὐτῶν of themἐκκλησίᾳ. ecclesia. 20  ἀσπάζονται Are greetingὑμᾶς YOUοἱ theἀδελφοὶ brothersπάντες. all.᾿Ασπάσασθε Greet YOUἀλλήλους one anotherἐν inφιλήματι kissἁγίῳ. holy. 21  Ὁ Theἀσπασμὸς greetingτῇ to theἐμῇ myχειρὶ handΠαύλου. of Paul. 22  εἴ Ifτις anyoneοὐ notφιλεῖ is having affection forτὸν theκύριον, Lord,ἤτω let him beἀνάθεμα. anathema.Μαρὰν Our Lordἀθά. come. 23  ἡ Theχάρις undeserved kindnessτοῦ of theκυρίου LordἸησοῦ Jesusμεθ’ withὑμῶν. YOU. 24  ἡ Theἀγάπη loveμου of meμετὰ withπάντων all (ones)ὑμῶν of YOUἐν inΧριστῷ ChristἸησοῦ. Jesus.
