1 Corinthians 3:1-23

3  Κἀγώ, And I,ἀδελφοί, brothers,οὐκ notἠδυνήθην I was ableλαλῆσαι to speakὑμῖν to YOUὡς asπνευματικοῖς to spiritual (ones)ἀλλ’ butὡς asσαρκίνοις, to fleshly (ones),ὡς asνηπίοις to babesἐν inΧριστῷ. YOU are. 10  Κατὰ According toτὴν theχάριν undeserved kindnessτοῦ of theθεοῦ Godτὴν theδοθεῖσάν having been givenμοι to meὡς asσοφὸς wiseἀρχιτέκτων chief craftsmanθεμέλιον foundationἔθηκα, I put,ἄλλος another (one)δὲ butἐποικοδομεῖ. is building upon.ἕκαστος Each (one)δὲ butβλεπέτω let him be looking atπῶς howἐποικοδομεῖ· he is building upon; 11  θεμέλιον foundationγὰρ forἄλλον otherοὐδεὶς no oneδύναται is ableθεῖναι to putπαρὰ besideτὸν the (one)κείμενον, lying,ὅς whichἐστιν isἸησοῦς JesusΧριστός· Christ; 12  εἰ ifδέ butτις anyoneἐποικοδομεῖ is building uponἐπὶ uponτὸν theθεμέλιον foundationχρυσίον, gold,ἀργύριον, silver,λίθους stonesτιμίους, precious,ξύλα, woods,χόρτον, hay,καλάμην, stubble, 13  ἑκάστου of each (one)τὸ theἔργον workφανερὸν manifestγενήσεται, will become,theγὰρ forἡμέρα dayδηλώσει· will make evident;ὅτι becauseἐν inπυρὶ fireἀποκαλύπτεται, it is being revealed,καὶ andἑκάστου of each (one)τὸ theἔργον workὁποῖόν of what sortἐστιν it isτὸ theπῦρ fireαὐτὸ veryδοκιμάσει. will prove. 14  εἴ Ifτινος of anyoneτὸ theἔργον workμενεῖ will remainwhichἐποικοδόμησεν, he built upon,μισθὸν rewardλήμψεται· he will receive; 15  εἴ ifτινος of anyoneτὸ theἔργον workκατακαήσεται, will be burned down,ζημιωθήσεται, he will be damaged,αὐτὸς heδὲ butσωθήσεται, he will be saved,οὕτως thusδὲ butὡς asδιὰ throughπυρός. fire. 16  Οὐκ Notοἴδατε YOU have knownὅτι thatναὸς divine habitationθεοῦ of Godἐστὲ YOU areκαὶ andτὸ theπνεῦμα spiritτοῦ of theθεοῦ Godἐν inὑμῖν YOUοἰκεῖ; is dwelling? 17  εἴ Ifτις anyoneτὸν theναὸν divine habitationτοῦ of theθεοῦ Godφθείρει, is corrupting,φθερεῖ will corruptτοῦτον this (one)theθεός· God;theγὰρ forναὸς divine habitationτοῦ of theθεοῦ Godἅγιός holyἐστιν, is,οἵτινές which (ones)ἐστε areὑμεῖς. YOU. 18  Μηδεὶς No oneἑαυτὸν himselfἐξαπατάτω· let him mislead out;εἴ ifτις anyoneδοκεῖ is thinkingσοφὸς wiseεἶναι to beἐν inὑμῖν YOUἐν inτῷ theαἰῶνι ageτούτῳ, this,μωρὸς foolγενέσθω, let him become,ἵνα in order thatγένηται he might becomeσοφός, wise, 19  theγὰρ forσοφία wisdomτοῦ of theκόσμου worldτούτου thisμωρία foolishnessπαρὰ besideτῷ theθεῷ Godἐστίν· is;γέγραπται it has been writtenγάρ forThe (one)δρασσόμενος catchingτοὺς theσοφοὺς wise (ones)ἐν inτῇ theπανουργίᾳ all-doingαὐτῶν· of them; 20  καὶ andπάλιν againΚύριος Lordγινώσκει is knowingτοὺς theδιαλογισμοὺς reasoningsτῶν of theσοφῶν wiseὅτι thatεἰσὶν they areμάταιοι. vain. 21  ὥστε As-andμηδεὶς no oneκαυχάσθω let him be boastingἐν inἀνθρώποις· men;πάντα all (things)γὰρ forὑμῶν of YOUἐστίν, is, 22  εἴτε whetherΠαῦλος Paulεἴτε whether᾿Απολλὼς Apollosεἴτε whetherΚηφᾶς Cephasεἴτε whetherκόσμος worldεἴτε whetherζωὴ lifeεἴτε whetherθάνατος deathεἴτε whetherἐνεστῶτα (things) having stood inεἴτε whetherμέλλοντα, (things) being about,πάντα all (things)ὑμῶν, of YOU, 23  ὑμεῖς YOUδὲ butΧριστοῦ, of Christ,Χριστὸς Christδὲ butθεοῦ. of God.
