2 Corinthians 13:1-14

13  Τρίτον Third timeτοῦτο thisἔρχομαι I am comingπρὸς towardὑμᾶς· YOU;ἐπὶ uponστόματος mouthδύο of twoμαρτύρων witnessesκαὶ andτριῶν of threeσταθήσεται will be made to standπᾶν everyῥῆμα. saying. 2  προείρηκα I have said beforeκαὶ andπρολέγω I am saying beforehandὡς asπαρὼν being alongsideτὸ theδεύτερον second [time]καὶ andἀπὼν being absentνῦν nowτοῖς to the (ones)προημαρτηκόσιν having sinned beforeκαὶ andτοῖς to theλοιποῖς leftover (ones)πᾶσιν, all,ὅτι thatἐὰν if everἔλθω I should comeεἰς intoτὸ theπάλιν againοὐ notφείσομαι, I shall spare, 3  ἐπεὶ sinceδοκιμὴν proofζητεῖτε YOU are seekingτοῦ of theἐν inἐμοὶ meλαλοῦντος speakingχριστοῦ· Christ;ὃς whoεἰς intoὑμᾶς YOUοὐκ notἀσθενεῖ is weakἀλλὰ butδυνατεῖ is powerfulἐν inὑμῖν, YOU, 4  καὶ andγὰρ forἐσταυρώθη he was put on stakeἐξ out ofἀσθενείας, weakness,ἀλλὰ butζῇ he is livingἐκ out ofδυνάμεως powerθεοῦ. of God.καὶ Andγὰρ forἡμεῖς weἀσθενοῦμεν are weakἐν inαὐτῷ, him,ἀλλὰ butζήσομεν we shall liveσὺν together withαὐτῷ himἐκ out ofδυνάμεως powerθεοῦ of Godεἰς intoὑμᾶς. YOU. 5  Ἑαυτοὺς Selvesπειράζετε be YOU testingεἰ ifἐστὲ YOU areἐν inτῇ theπίστει, faith,ἑαυτοὺς selvesδοκιμάζετε· be YOU proving;ἢ orοὐκ notἐπιγινώσκετε YOU are recognizingἑαυτοὺς selvesὅτι thatἸησοῦς JesusΧριστὸς Christἐν inὑμῖν; YOU?εἰ ifμήτι not whatἀδόκιμοί disapprovedἐστε. YOU are. 6  ἐλπίζω I am hopingδὲ butὅτι thatγνώσεσθε YOU will knowὅτι thatἡμεῖς weοὐκ notἐσμὲν we areἀδόκιμοι. disapproved. 7  εὐχόμεθα We are prayingδὲ butπρὸς towardτὸν theθεὸν Godμὴ notποιῆσαι to doὑμᾶς YOUκακὸν badμηδέν, nothing,οὐχ notἵνα in order thatἡμεῖς weδόκιμοι approvedφανῶμεν, we might appear,ἀλλ’ butἵνα in order thatὑμεῖς YOUτὸ theκαλὸν fine (thing)ποιῆτε, YOU may be doing,ἡμεῖς weδὲ butὡς asἀδόκιμοι disapprovedὦμεν. we may be. 8  οὐ Notγὰρ forδυνάμεθά we are ableτι anythingκατὰ down onτῆς theἀληθείας, truth,ἀλλὰ butὑπὲρ overτῆς theἀληθείας. truth. 9  χαίρομεν We are rejoicingγὰρ forὅταν wheneverἡμεῖς weἀσθενῶμεν, may be weak,ὑμεῖς YOUδὲ butδυνατοὶ powerfulἦτε· YOU may be;τοῦτο thisκαὶ alsoεὐχόμεθα, we are praying,τὴν theὑμῶν of YOUκατάρτισιν. adjustment down. 10  Διὰ Throughτοῦτο thisταῦτα these (things)ἀπὼν being absentγράφω, I am writing,ἵνα in order thatπαρὼν being alongsideμὴ notἀποτόμως in cutting-off wayχρήσωμαι I might behaveκατὰ according toτὴν theἐξουσίαν authorityἣν whichὁ theκύριος Lordἔδωκέν gaveμοι, to me,εἰς intoοἰκοδομὴν upbuildingκαὶ andοὐκ notεἰς intoκαθαίρεσιν. taking down. 11  Λοιπόν, Leftover (things),ἀδελφοί, brothers,χαίρετε, be YOU rejoicing,καταρτίζεσθε, be YOU being adjusted down,παρακαλεῖσθε, be YOU comforted,τὸ theαὐτὸ very (thing)φρονεῖτε, be YOU minding,εἰρηνεύετε, be YOU at peace,καὶ andὁ theθεὸς Godτῆς of theἀγάπης loveκαὶ andεἰρήνης of peaceἔσται will beμεθ’ withὑμῶν. YOU. 12  ᾿Ασπάσασθε Greet YOUἀλλήλους one anotherἐν inἁγίῳ holyφιλήματι. kiss. 13  ᾿Ασπάζονται Are greetingὑμᾶς YOUοἱ theἅγιοι holy (ones)πάντες. all. 14  Ἡ Theχάρις undeserved kindnessτοῦ of theκυρίου LordἸησοῦ JesusΧριστοῦ Christκαὶ andἡ theἀγάπη loveτοῦ of theθεοῦ Godκαὶ andἡ theκοινωνία sharingτοῦ of theἁγίου holyπνεύματος spiritμετὰ withπάντων allὑμῶν. of YOU.
