2 Corinthians 6:1-18

6  Συνεργοῦντες Working togetherδὲ butκαὶ alsoπαρακαλοῦμεν we are entreatingμὴ notεἰς intoκενὸν empti (ness)τὴν theχάριν undeserved kindnessτοῦ of theθεοῦ Godδέξασθαι to acceptὑμᾶς· YOU; 2  λέγει he is sayingγάρ forΚαιρῷ To appointed timeδεκτῷ acceptableἐπήκουσά I heard uponσου of youκαὶ andἐν inἡμέρᾳ dayσωτηρίας of salvationἐβοήθησά I gave helpσοι· to you;ἰδοὺ look!νῦν nowκαιρὸς appointed timeεὐπρόσδεκτος, well acceptable towardἰδοὺ look!νῦν nowἡμέρα dayσωτηρίας· of salvation; 3  μηδεμίαν not oneἐν inμηδενὶ nothingδιδόντες givingπροσκοπήν, striking toward,ἵνα in order thatμὴ notμωμηθῇ might be found spottedἡ theδιακονία, service, 4  ἀλλ’ butἐν inπαντὶ everythingσυνιστάνοντες putting in standing withἑαυτοὺς selvesὡς asθεοῦ of Godδιάκονοι· servants;ἐν inὑπομονῇ enduranceπολλῇ, much,ἐν inθλίψεσιν, tribulations,ἐν inἀνάγκαις, necessities,ἐν inστενοχωρίαις, straits, 5  ἐν inπληγαῖς, blows,ἐν inφυλακαῖς, prisons,ἐν inἀκαταστασίαις, unsettled states,ἐν inκόποις, labors,ἐν inἀγρυπνίαις, abstinences from sleep,ἐν inνηστείαις, fastings, 6  ἐν inἁγνότητι, purity,ἐν inγνώσει, knowledge,ἐν inμακροθυμίᾳ, longness of spirit,ἐν inχρηστότητι, kindness,ἐν inπνεύματι spiritἁγίῳ, holy,ἐν inἀγάπῃ loveἀνυποκρίτῳ, unhypocritical, 7  ἐν inλόγῳ wordἀληθείας, of truth,ἐν inδυνάμει powerθεοῦ· of God;διὰ throughτῶν theὅπλων weaponsτῆς of theδικαιοσύνης righteousnessτῶν of the (ones)δεξιῶν of the right [parts]καὶ andἀριστερῶν, of the left [parts], 8  διὰ throughδόξης gloryκαὶ andἀτιμίας, dishonor,διὰ throughδυσφημίας bad fameκαὶ andεὐφημίας· good fame;ὡς asπλάνοι errantsκαὶ andἀληθεῖς, truthful (ones), 9  ὡς asἀγνοούμενοι (ones) being unknownκαὶ andἐπιγινωσκόμενοι, (ones) being recognized,ὡς asἀποθνήσκοντες (ones) dyingκαὶ andἰδοὺ look!ζῶμεν, we are living,ὡς asπαιδευόμενοι (ones) being disciplinedκαὶ andμὴ notθανατούμενοι, (ones) being put to death, 10  ὡς asλυπούμενοι (ones) being saddenedἀεὶ everδὲ butχαίροντες, (ones) rejoicing,ὡς asπτωχοὶ (ones) poorπολλοὺς manyδὲ butπλουτίζοντες, (ones) enriching,ὡς asμηδὲν nothingἔχοντες (ones) havingκαὶ andπάντα all (things)κατέχοντες. holding down. 11  Τὸ Theστόμα mouthἡμῶν of usἀνέῳγεν has stood opened upπρὸς towardὑμᾶς, YOU,Κορίνθιοι, Corinthians,ἡ theκαρδία heartἡμῶν of usπεπλάτυνται· has been broadened; 12  οὐ notστενοχωρεῖσθε YOU are being put in narrow placeἐν inἡμῖν, us,στενοχωρεῖσθε YOU are being put in narrow placeδὲ butἐν inτοῖς theσπλάγχνοις bowelsὑμῶν· of YOU; 13  τὴν theδὲ butαὐτὴν veryἀντιμισθίαν, return reward,ὡς asτέκνοις to childrenλέγω, I am saying,πλατύνθητε be YOU broadenedκαὶ alsoὑμεῖς. YOU. 14  Μὴ Notγίνεσθε be YOU becomingἑτεροζυγοῦντες being differently yokedἀπίστοις· to unbelievers;τίς whatγὰρ forμετοχὴ holding withδικαιοσύνῃ to righteousnessκαὶ andἀνομίᾳ, to lawlessness,ἢ orτίς whatκοινωνία sharingφωτὶ to lightπρὸς towardσκότος; darkness? 15  τίς Whatδὲ butσυμφώνησις harmonyΧριστοῦ of Christπρὸς towardΒελίαρ, Beliar,ἢ orτίς whatμερὶς portionπιστῷ to faithful (one)μετὰ withἀπίστου; unbeliever? 16  τίς Whatδὲ butσυνκατάθεσις putting down togetherναῷ to divine habitationθεοῦ of Godμετὰ withεἰδώλων; idols?ἡμεῖς Weγὰρ forναὸς divine habitationθεοῦ of Godἐσμὲν we areζῶντος· of (one) living;καθὼς according asεἶπεν saidὁ theθεὸς Godὅτι that᾿Ενοικήσω I shall indwellἐν inαὐτοῖς themκαὶ andἐνπεριπατήσω, I shall walk among,καὶ andἔσομαι I shall beαὐτῶν to themθεός, God,καὶ andαὐτοὶ theyἔσονταί will beμου of meλαός. people. 17  διὸ Through whichἐξέλθατε come out YOUἐκ out ofμέσου midstαὐτῶν, of them,καὶ andἀφορίσθητε, YOU be defined off,λέγει is sayingΚύριος, Lord,καὶ andἀκαθάρτου of unclean (thing)μὴ notἅπτεσθε· be YOU touching;κἀγὼ and Iεἰσδέξομαι shall take intoὑμᾶς· YOU; 18  καὶ andἔσομαι I shall beὑμῖν to YOUεἰς intoπατέρα, father,καὶ andὑμεῖς YOUἔσεσθέ will beμοι to meεἰς intoυἱοὺς sonsκαὶ andθυγατέρας, daughters,λέγει is sayingΚύριος LordΠαντοκράτωρ. Almighty.
