Galatians 5:1-26

YOU might be consumed up. 16  Λέγω I am sayingδέ, but,πνεύματι to spiritπεριπατεῖτε be YOU walkingκαὶ andἐπιθυμίαν desireσαρκὸς of fleshοὐ notμὴ notτελέσητε. YOU might end up with. 17  Theγὰρ forσὰρξ fleshἐπιθυμεῖ is desiringκατὰ down onτοῦ theπνεύματος, spirit,τὸ theδὲ butπνεῦμα spiritκατὰ down onτῆς theσαρκός, flesh,ταῦτα these (things)γὰρ forἀλλήλοις to each otherἀντίκειται, is lying against,ἵνα in order thatμὴ notwhat (things)ἐὰν if everθέλητε YOU may be willingταῦτα theseποιῆτε. YOU may be doing. 18  εἰ Ifδὲ butπνεύματι to spiritἄγεσθε, YOU are being led,οὐκ notἐστὲ YOU areὑπὸ underνόμον. law. 19  φανερὰ Manifestδέ butἐστιν isτὰ theἔργα worksτῆς of theσαρκός, flesh,ἅτινά whichἐστιν isπορνεία, fornication,ἀκαθαρσία, uncleanness,ἀσέλγεια, loose conduct, 20  εἰδωλολατρία, idolatry,φαρμακία, druggery,ἔχθραι, enmities,ἔρις, strife,ζῆλος, jealousy,θυμοί, angers,ἐριθίαι, contentions,διχοστασίαι, divisions,αἱρέσεις, sects, 21  φθόνοι, envies,μέθαι, drunkennesses,κῶμοι, revelries,καὶ andτὰ theὅμοια (things) likeτούτοις, to these,which (things)προλέγω I am saying beforeὑμῖν to YOUκαθὼς according asπροεῖπον I said beforeὅτι thatοἱ the (ones)τὰ theτοιαῦτα such (things)πράσσοντες performingβασιλείαν kingdomθεοῦ of Godοὐ notκληρονομήσουσιν. they will inherit. 22  Theδὲ butκαρπὸς fruitτοῦ of theπνεύματός spiritἐστιν isἀγάπη, love,χαρά, joy,εἰρήνη, peace,μακροθυμία, longness of spirit,χρηστότης, kindness,ἀγαθωσύνη, goodness,πίστις, faith, 23  πραΰτης, mildness,ἐγκράτεια· self-control;κατὰ down onτῶν theτοιούτων such (things)οὐκ notἔστιν isνόμος. law. 24  οἱ The (ones)δὲ butτοῦ of theχριστοῦ ChristἸησοῦ Jesusτὴν theσάρκα fleshἐσταύρωσαν they put on stakeσὺν together withτοῖς theπαθήμασιν passionsκαὶ andταῖς theἐπιθυμίαις. desires. 25  Εἰ Ifζῶμεν we are livingπνεύματι, to spirit,πνεύματι to spiritκαὶ alsoστοιχῶμεν. may we be orderly walking. 26  μὴ Notγινώμεθα may we be becomingκενόδοξοι, vainglorious,ἀλλήλους one anotherπροκαλούμενοι, calling forth,ἀλλήλους one anotherφθονοῦντες. envying.
