Mark 3:1-35

3  Καὶ Andεἰσῆλθεν he enteredπάλιν againεἰς intoσυναγωγήν, synagogue,καὶ andἦν wasἐκεῖ thereἄνθρωπος manἐξηραμμένην having been dried upἔχων havingτὴν theχεῖρα· hand; 2  καὶ andπαρετήρουν they were observing besideαὐτὸν himεἰ ifτοῖς to theσάββασιν sabbathsθεραπεύσει he will cureαὐτόν, him,ἵνα in order thatκατηγορήσωσιν they might accuseαὐτοῦ. him. 3  καὶ Andλέγει he is sayingτῷ to theἀνθρώπῳ manτῷ to the (one)τὴν theχεῖρα handἔχοντι havingξηράν witheredἜγειρε Be getting upεἰς intoτὸ theμέσον. midst. 4  καὶ Andλέγει he is sayingαὐτοῖς to themἜξεστιν Is it lawfulτοῖς to theσάββασιν sabbathsἀγαθοποιῆσαι to do goodἢ orκακοποιῆσαι, to do bad,ψυχὴν soulσῶσαι to saveἢ orἀποκτεῖναι; to kill?οἱ The (ones)δὲ butἐσιώπων. were being silent. 5  καὶ Andπεριβλεψάμενος having looked around onαὐτοὺς themμετ’ withὀργῆς, wrath,συνλυπούμενος being thoroughly grievedἐπὶ uponτῇ theπωρώσει dullingτῆς of theκαρδίας heartαὐτῶν, of them,λέγει he saysτῷ to theἀνθρώπῳ manἜκτεινον Stretch outτὴν theχεῖρά handσου· of you;καὶ andἐξέτεινεν, he stretched out,καὶ andἀπεκατεστάθη was restoredἡ theχεὶρ handαὐτοῦ. of him. 6  Καὶ Andἐξελθόντες having gone outοἱ theΦαρισαῖοι Phariseesεὐθὺς at onceμετὰ withτῶν theἩρῳδιανῶν Herodiansσυμβούλιον counsel togetherἐδίδουν were givingκατ’ down onαὐτοῦ himὅπως so thatαὐτὸν himἀπολέσωσιν. they might destroy. 7  Καὶ Andὁ theἸησοῦς Jesusμετὰ withτῶν theμαθητῶν disciplesαὐτοῦ of himἀνεχώρησεν withdrewπρὸς towardτὴν theθάλασσαν· sea;καὶ andπολὺ muchπλῆθος multitudeἀπὸ fromτῆς theΓαλιλαίας Galileeἠκολούθησεν, followed,καὶ andἀπὸ fromτῆς theἸουδαίας Judea 8  καὶ andἀπὸ fromἸεροσολύμων Jerusalemκαὶ andἀπὸ fromτῆς theἸδουμαίας Idumeaκαὶ andπέραν other sideτοῦ of theἸορδάνου Jordanκαὶ andπερὶ aboutΤύρον Tyreκαὶ andΣιδῶνα, Sidon,πλῆθος multitudeπολύ, much,ἀκούοντες hearingὅσα as many (things)ποιεῖ as he is doingἦλθαν cameπρὸς towardαὐτόν. him. 9  καὶ Andεἶπεν he saidτοῖς to theμαθηταῖς disciplesαὐτοῦ of himἵνα in order thatπλοιάριον little boatπροσκαρτερῇ should constantly be serviceableαὐτῷ to himδιὰ throughτὸν theὄχλον crowdἵνα in order thatμὴ notθλίβωσιν they might press uponαὐτόν· him; 10  πολλοὺς manyγὰρ forἐθεράπευσεν, he cured,ὥστε as-andἐπιπίπτειν to be falling uponαὐτῷ himἵνα in order thatαὐτοῦ of himἅψωνται might touchὅσοι as many asεἶχον were havingμάστιγας. scourges. 11  καὶ Andτὰ theπνεύματα spiritsτὰ theἀκάθαρτα, unclean,ὅταν wheneverαὐτὸν himἐθεώρουν, they were beholding,προσέπιπτον were falling towardαὐτῷ himκαὶ andἔκραζον were crying outλέγοντα sayingὅτι thatΣὺ Youεἶ areὁ theυἱὸς Sonτοῦ of theθεοῦ. God. 12  καὶ Andπολλὰ many (things)ἐπετίμα he was saying in rebukeαὐτοῖς to themἵνα in order thatμὴ notαὐτὸν himφανερὸν manifestποιήσωσιν. they should make. 13  Καὶ Andἀναβαίνει he is stepping upεἰς intoτὸ theὄρος mountainκαὶ andπροσκαλεῖται calls toward himselfοὓς whomἤθελεν was wantingαὐτός, he,καὶ andἀπῆλθον they went offπρὸς towardαὐτόν. him. 14  καὶ Andἐποίησεν he madeδώδεκα, twelve,οὓς whomκαὶ alsoἀποστόλους apostlesὠνόμασεν, he named,ἵνα in order thatὦσιν they might beμετ’ withαὐτοῦ himκαὶ andἵνα in order thatἀποστέλλῃ he may send offαὐτοὺς themκηρύσσειν to be preaching 15  καὶ andἔχειν to be havingἐξουσίαν authorityἐκβάλλειν to be throwing outτὰ theδαιμόνια· demons; 16  καὶ andἐποίησεν he madeτοὺς theδώδεκα twelveκαὶ andἐπέθηκεν he put uponὄνομα nameτῷ to theΣίμωνι SimonΠέτρον, Peter, 17  καὶ andἸάκωβον Jamesτὸν the [son]τοῦ of theΖεβεδαίου Zebedeeκαὶ andἸωάνην Johnτὸν theἀδελφὸν brotherτοῦ of theἸακώβου Jamesκαὶ andἐπέθηκεν he put uponαὐτοῖς themὄνομα nameΒοανηργές, Boanerges,ὅ whichἐστιν isΥἱοὶ SonsΒροντῆς, of Thunder, 18  καὶ and᾿Ανδρέαν Andrewκαὶ andΦίλιππον Philipκαὶ andΒαρθολομαῖον Bartholomewκαὶ andΜαθθαῖον Matthewκαὶ andΘωμᾶν Thomasκαὶ andἸάκωβον Jamesτὸν the [son]τοῦ of theἉλφαίου Alphaeusκαὶ andΘαδδαῖον Thaddaeusκαὶ andΣίμωνα Simonτὸν theΚαναναῖον Cananaean 19  καὶ andἸούδαν JudasἸσκαριώθ, Iscariot,ὃς whoκαὶ alsoπαρέδωκεν gave overαὐτόν. him. Καὶ Andἔρχεται he comesεἰς intoοἶκον· house; 20  καὶ andσυνέρχεται comes togetherπάλιν againὁ theὄχλος, crowd,ὥστε as-andμὴ notδύνασθαι to be ableαὐτοὺς themμηδὲ not-butἄρτον breadφαγεῖν. to eat. 21  καὶ Andἀκούσαντες having heardοἱ the (ones)παρ’ besideαὐτοῦ himἐξῆλθον went outκρατῆσαι to lay hold ofαὐτόν, him,ἔλεγον they were sayingγὰρ forὅτι thatἐξέστη. he stood out [of his mind]. 22  καὶ Andοἱ theγραμματεῖς scribesοἱ the (ones)ἀπὸ fromἸεροσολύμων Jerusalemκαταβάντες having come downἔλεγον were sayingὅτι thatΒεεζεβοὺλ Beelzebulἔχει, he is having,καὶ andὅτι thatἐν inτῷ theἄρχοντι rulerτῶν of theδαιμονίων demonsἐκβάλλει he is throwing outτὰ theδαιμόνια. demons. 23  καὶ Andπροσκαλεσάμενος having called toward himselfαὐτοὺς themἐν inπαραβολαῖς parablesἔλεγεν he was sayingαὐτοῖς to themΠῶς Howδύναται is ableΣατανᾶς SatanΣατανᾶν Satanἐκβάλλειν; to be throwing out? 24  καὶ Andἐὰν if everβασιλεία kingdomἐφ’ uponἑαυτὴν itselfμερισθῇ, should be divided,οὐ notδύναται is ableσταθῆναι to standἡ theβασιλεία kingdomἐκείνη· that; 25  καὶ andἐὰν if everοἰκία houseἐφ’ uponἑαυτὴν itselfμερισθῇ, should be divided,οὐ notδυνήσεται will be ableἡ theοἰκία houseἐκείνη thatστῆναι· to stand; 26  καὶ andεἰ ifὁ theΣατανᾶς Satanἀνέστη stood upἐφ’ uponἑαυτὸν himselfκαὶ andἐμερίσθη, was divided,οὐ notδύναται is ableστῆναι to standἀλλὰ butτέλος endἔχει. he is having. 27  ἀλλ’ Butοὐ notδύναται is ableοὐδεὶς no oneεἰς intoτὴν theοἰκίαν houseτοῦ of theἰσχυροῦ strong [man]εἰσελθὼν having enteredτὰ theσκεύη vesselsαὐτοῦ of himδιαρπάσαι to plunderἐὰν if everμὴ notπρῶτον firstτὸν theἰσχυρὸν strong [man]δήσῃ, he should bind,καὶ andτότε thenτὴν theοἰκίαν houseαὐτοῦ of himδιαρπάσει. he will plunder. 28  ᾿Αμὴν Amenλέγω I am sayingὑμῖν to YOUὅτι thatπάντα all (things)ἀφεθήσεται will be let go offτοῖς to theυἱοῖς sonsτῶν of theἀνθρώπων, men,τὰ theἁμαρτήματα sinsκαὶ andαἱ theβλασφημίαι blasphemiesὅσα as many asἐὰν if everβλασφημήσωσιν· they might blasphemously commit; 29  ὃς whoδ’ butἂν likelyβλασφημήσῃ should blasphemeεἰς intoτὸ theπνεῦμα spiritτὸ theἅγιον, holy,οὐκ notἔχει he is havingἄφεσιν letting go offεἰς intoτὸν theαἰῶνα, age,ἀλλὰ butἔνοχός held inἐστιν isαἰωνίου of everlastingἁμαρτήματος. sin. 30  ὅτι Becauseἔλεγον they were sayingΠνεῦμα Spiritἀκάθαρτον uncleanἔχει. he is having. 31  Καὶ Andἔρχονται are comingἡ theμήτηρ motherαὐτοῦ of himκαὶ andοἱ theἀδελφοὶ brothersαὐτοῦ of himκαὶ andἔξω outsideστήκοντες standingἀπέστειλαν they sent offπρὸς towardαὐτὸν himκαλοῦντες callingαὐτόν. him. 32  καὶ Andἐκάθητο was sittingπερὶ aboutαὐτὸν himὄχλος, crowd,καὶ andλέγουσιν they are sayingαὐτῷ to himἸδοὺ Look!ἡ Theμήτηρ motherσου of youκαὶ andοἱ theἀδελφοί brothersσου of youἔξω outsideζητοῦσίν are seekingσε. you. 33  καὶ Andἀποκριθεὶς having answeredαὐτοῖς to themλέγει he is sayingΤίς Whoἐστιν isἡ theμήτηρ motherμου of meκαὶ andοἱ theἀδελφοί; brothers? 34  καὶ Andπεριβλεψάμενος having looked around onτοὺς the (ones)περὶ aboutαὐτὸν himκύκλῳ to circleκαθημένους sittingλέγει he is sayingἼδε Seeἡ theμήτηρ motherμου of meκαὶ andοἱ theἀδελφοί brothersμου· of me; 35  ὃς whoἂν likelyποιήσῃ should doτὸ theθέλημα willτοῦ of theθεοῦ, God,οὗτος this (one)ἀδελφός brotherμου of meκαὶ andἀδελφὴ sisterκαὶ andμήτηρ motherἐστίν. is.
