Revelation 11:1-19

11  Καὶ Andἐδόθη was givenμοι to meκάλαμος reedὅμοιος likeῥάβδῳ, to staff,λέγων (one) sayingἜγειρε Rise you upκαὶ andμέτρησον measure youτὸν theναὸν divine habitationτοῦ of theθεοῦ Godκαὶ andτὸ theθυσιαστήριον altarκαὶ andτοὺς the (ones)προσκυνοῦντας worshipingἐν inαὐτῷ. it. 2  καὶ Andτὴν theαὐλὴν courtyardτὴν the (one)ἔξωθεν outsideτοῦ of theναοῦ divine habitationἔκβαλε throw you outἔξωθεν, outside,καὶ andμὴ notαὐτὴν itμετρήσῃς, you should measure,ὅτι becauseἐδόθη it was givenτοῖς to theἔθνεσιν, nations,καὶ andτὴν theπόλιν cityτὴν theἁγίαν holyπατήσουσιν they will trample onμῆνας monthsτεσσεράκοντα fortyκαὶ andδύο. two. 3  καὶ Andδώσω I shall giveτοῖς to theδυσὶν twoμάρτυσίν witnessesμου, of me,καὶ andπροφητεύσουσιν they will prophesyἡμέρας daysχιλίας thousandδιακοσίας two hundredἑξήκοντα, sixty,περιβεβλημένους having been thrown aboutσάκκους. sackcloths. 4  Οὗτοί Theseεἰσιν areαἱ theδύο twoἐλαῖαι olive treesκαὶ andαἱ theδύο twoλυχνίαι lampstandsαἱ the (ones)ἐνώπιον in sightτοῦ of theκυρίου lordτῆς of theγῆς earthἑστῶτες. having stood. 5  καὶ Andεἴ ifτις anyoneαὐτοὺς themθέλει is willingἀδικῆσαι, to treat unrighteously,πῦρ fireἐκπορεύεται is going outἐκ out ofτοῦ theστόματος mouthαὐτῶν of themκαὶ andκατεσθίει it is eating downτοὺς theἐχθροὺς enemiesαὐτῶν· of them;καὶ andεἴ ifτις anyoneθελήσῃ should willαὐτοὺς themἀδικῆσαι, to treat unrighteously,οὕτως thusδεῖ it is bindingαὐτὸν himἀποκτανθῆναι. to be killed. 6  οὗτοι Theseἔχουσιν are havingτὴν theἐξουσίαν authorityκλεῖσαι to shut upτὸν theοὐρανόν, heaven,ἵνα in order thatμὴ notὑετὸς rainβρέχῃ may moistenτὰς theἡμέρας daysτῆς of theπροφητείας prophecyαὐτῶν, of them,καὶ andἐξουσίαν authorityἔχουσιν they are havingἐπὶ uponτῶν theὑδάτων watersστρέφειν to be turningαὐτὰ themεἰς intoαἷμα bloodκαὶ andπατάξαι to smiteτὴν theγῆν earthἐν inπάσῃ everyπληγῇ plagueὁσάκις as often asἐὰν if everθελήσωσιν. they might wish. 7  καὶ Andὅταν wheneverτελέσωσιν they should finishτὴν theμαρτυρίαν witnessαὐτῶν, of them,τὸ theθηρίον wild beastτὸ the (one)ἀναβαῖνον stepping upἐκ out ofτῆς theἀβύσσου abyssποιήσει will makeμετ’ withαὐτῶν themπόλεμον warκαὶ andνικήσει will conquerαὐτοὺς themκαὶ andἀποκτενεῖ it will killαὐτούς. them. 8  καὶ Andτὸ theπτῶμα fallen (body)αὐτῶν of themἐπὶ uponτῆς theπλατείας broad wayτῆς of theπόλεως cityτῆς theμεγάλης, great,ἥτις whichκαλεῖται is being calledπνευματικῶς spirituallyΣόδομα Sodomκαὶ andΑἴγυπτος, Egypt,ὅπου whereκαὶ alsoὁ theκύριος Lordαὐτῶν of themἐσταυρώθη. was put on stake. 9  καὶ Andβλέπουσιν they are looking atἐκ out ofτῶν theλαῶν peoplesκαὶ andφυλῶν tribesκαὶ andγλωσσῶν tonguesκαὶ andἐθνῶν nationsτὸ theπτῶμα fallen (body)αὐτῶν of themἡμέρας daysτρεῖς threeκαὶ andἥμισυ, half,καὶ andτὰ theπτώματα fallen (bodies)αὐτῶν of themοὐκ notἀφίουσιν they are letting go offτεθῆναι to be putεἰς intoμνῆμα. memorial (tomb). 10  καὶ Andοἱ the (ones)κατοικοῦντες dwellingἐπὶ uponτῆς theγῆς earthχαίρουσιν are rejoicingἐπ’ uponαὐτοῖς themκαὶ andεὐφραίνονται, are making themselves well-minded,καὶ andδῶρα giftsπέμψουσιν they will sendἀλλήλοις, to one another,ὅτι becauseοὗτοι theseοἱ theδύο twoπροφῆται prophetsἐβασάνισαν tormentedτοὺς the (ones)κατοικοῦντας dwellingἐπὶ uponτῆς theγῆς. earth. 11  καὶ Andμετὰ afterτὰς theτρεῖς threeἡμέρας daysκαὶ andἥμισυ halfπνεῦμα spiritζωῆς of lifeἐκ out ofτοῦ theθεοῦ Godεἰσῆλθεν enteredἐν inαὐτοῖς, them,καὶ andἔστησαν they stoodἐπὶ uponτοὺς theπόδας feetαὐτῶν, of them,καὶ andφόβος fearμέγας greatἐπέπεσεν fell ontoἐπὶ uponτοὺς the (ones)θεωροῦντας beholdingαὐτούς· them; 12  καὶ andἤκουσαν they heardφωνῆς of voiceμεγάλης greatἐκ out ofτοῦ theοὐρανοῦ heavenλεγούσης sayingαὐτοῖς to them᾿Ανάβατε Step YOU upὧδε, here,καὶ andἀνέβησαν they stepped upεἰς intoτὸν theοὐρανὸν heavenἐν inτῇ theνεφέλῃ, cloud,καὶ andἐθεώρησαν beheldαὐτοὺς themοἱ theἐχθροὶ enemiesαὐτῶν. of them. 13  Καὶ Andἐν inἐκείνῃ thatτῇ theὥρᾳ hourἐγένετο occurredσεισμὸς [earth] shakingμέγας, great,καὶ andτὸ theδέκατον tenth [part]τῆς of theπόλεως cityἔπεσεν, fell,καὶ andἀπεκτάνθησαν were killedἐν inτῷ theσεισμῷ [earth] shakingὀνόματα namesἀνθρώπων of menχιλιάδες thousandsἑπτά, seven,καὶ andοἱ theλοιποὶ leftover (ones)ἔμφοβοι in-fearἐγένοντο becameκαὶ andἔδωκαν they gaveδόξαν gloryτῷ to theθεῷ Godτοῦ of theοὐρανοῦ. heaven. 14  Ἡ TheΟὐαὶ Woeἡ theδευτέρα secondἀπῆλθεν· went off;ἰδοὺ look!ἡ theΟὐαὶ Woeἡ theτρίτη thirdἔρχεται is comingταχύ. quickly. 15  Καὶ Andὁ theἕβδομος seventhἄγγελος angelἐσάλπισεν· trumpeted;καὶ andἐγένοντο occurredφωναὶ voicesμεγάλαι greatἐν inτῷ theοὐρανῷ, heaven,λέγοντες saying᾿Εγένετο Becameἡ theΒασιλεία kingdomτοῦ of theκόσμου worldτοῦ of theκυρίου Lordἡμῶν of usκαὶ andτοῦ of theχριστοῦ Christαὐτοῦ, of him,καὶ andβασιλεύσει he will reignεἰς intoτοὺς theαἰῶνας agesτῶν of theαἰώνων. ages. 16  καὶ Andοἱ theεἴκοσι twenty-τέσσαρες fourπρεσβύτεροι older personsοἱ the (ones)ἐνώπιον in sightτοῦ of theθεοῦ Godκαθήμενοι (ones) sittingἐπὶ uponτοὺς theθρόνους thronesαὐτῶν of themἔπεσαν they fellἐπὶ uponτὰ theπρόσωπα facesαὐτῶν of themκαὶ andπροσεκύνησαν they worshipedτῷ to theθεῷ, God, 17  λέγοντες sayingΕὐχαριστοῦμέν We are giving thanksσοι, to you,κύριε, Lord,ὁ theθεός, God,ὁ theπαντοκράτωρ, Almighty,ὁ the (one)ὢν beingκαὶ andὁ the (one)ἦν, was,ὅτι becauseεἴληφες you have takenτὴν theδύναμίν powerσου of youτὴν theμεγάλην greatκαὶ andἐβασίλευσας· you reigned; 18  καὶ andτὰ theἔθνη nationsὠργίσθησαν, were made wrathful,καὶ andἦλθεν cameἡ theὀργή wrathσου of youκαὶ andὁ theκαιρὸς appointed timeτῶν of theνεκρῶν dead (ones)κριθῆναι to be judged,καὶ andδοῦναι to giveτὸν theμισθὸν rewardτοῖς to theδούλοις slavesσου of youτοῖς to theπροφήταις prophetsκαὶ andτοῖς to theἁγίοις holy (ones)καὶ andτοῖς to the (ones)φοβουμένοις fearingτὸ theὄνομά nameσου, of you,τοὺς theμικροὺς small (ones)καὶ andτοὺς theμεγάλους, great (ones),καὶ andδιαφθεῖραι to corrupt throughτοὺς the (ones)διαφθείροντας corrupting throughτὴν theγῆν. earth. 19  καὶ Andἠνοίγη was opened upὁ theναὸς divine habitationτοῦ of theθεοῦ Godὁ the (one)ἐν inτῷ theοὐρανῷ, heaven,καὶ andὤφθη was seenἡ theκιβωτὸς arkτῆς of theδιαθήκης covenantαὐτοῦ of himἐν inτῷ theναῷ divine habitationαὐτοῦ· of him;καὶ andἐγένοντο occurredἀστραπαὶ lightningsκαὶ andφωναὶ voicesκαὶ andβρονταὶ thundersκαὶ andσεισμὸς [earth] shakingκαὶ andχάλαζα hailμεγάλη. great.
