Revelation 16:1-21

16  Καὶ Andἤκουσα I heardμεγάλης of greatφωνῆς voiceἐκ out ofτοῦ theναοῦ divine habitationλεγούσης sayingτοῖς to theἑπτὰ sevenἀγγέλοις angelsὙπάγετε Be YOU going underκαὶ andἐκχέετε be YOU pouring outτὰς theἑπτὰ sevenφιάλας bowlsτοῦ of theθυμοῦ angerτοῦ of theθεοῦ Godεἰς intoτὴν theγῆν. earth. 2  Καὶ Andἀπῆλθεν went offὁ theπρῶτος first (one)καὶ andἐξέχεεν he poured outτὴν theφιάλην bowlαὐτοῦ of himεἰς intoτὴν theγῆν· earth;καὶ andἐγένετο came to beἕλκος ulcerκακὸν badκαὶ andπονηρὸν wickedἐπὶ uponτοὺς theἀνθρώπους menτοὺς the (ones)ἔχοντας havingτὸ theχάραγμα engravingτοῦ of theθηρίου wild beastκαὶ andτοὺς the (ones)προσκυνοῦντας worshipingτῇ to theεἰκόνι imageαὐτοῦ. of it. 3  Καὶ Andὁ theδεύτερος second (one)ἐξέχεεν poured outτὴν theφιάλην bowlαὐτοῦ of himεἰς intoτὴν theθάλασσαν· sea;καὶ andἐγένετο it becameαἷμα bloodὡς asνεκροῦ, of dead [man],καὶ andπᾶσα everyψυχὴ soulζωῆς of lifeἀπέθανεν, died,τὰ the (things)ἐν inτῇ theθαλάσσῃ. sea. 4  Καὶ Andὁ theτρίτος third (one)ἐξέχεεν poured outτὴν theφιάλην bowlαὐτοῦ of himεἰς intoτοὺς theποταμοὺς riversκαὶ andτὰς theπηγὰς fountainsτῶν of theὑδάτων· waters;καὶ andἐγένετο it becameαἷμα. blood. 5  Καὶ Andἤκουσα I heardτοῦ of theἀγγέλου angelτῶν of theὑδάτων watersλέγοντος sayingΔίκαιος Righteousεἶ, you are,ὁ the (one)ὢν beingκαὶ andὁ the (one)ἦν, was,ὁ the (one)ὅσιος, loyal,ὅτι becauseταῦτα these (things)ἔκρινας, you judged, 6  ὅτι becauseαἷμα bloodἁγίων of holy (ones)καὶ andπροφητῶν of prophetsἐξέχεαν, they poured out,καὶ andαἷμα bloodαὐτοῖς to themδέδωκας you have givenπεῖν· to drink;ἄξιοί worthy (ones)εἰσιν. they are. 7  Καὶ Andἤκουσα I heardτοῦ of theθυσιαστηρίου altarλέγοντος sayingΝαί, Yes,κύριε, Lord,ὁ theθεός, God,ὁ theπαντοκράτωρ, Almighty,ἀληθιναὶ trueκαὶ andδίκαιαι righteousαἱ theκρίσεις judgmentsσου. of you. 8  Καὶ Andὁ theτέταρτος fourth (one)ἐξέχεεν poured outτὴν theφιάλην bowlαὐτοῦ of himἐπὶ uponτὸν theἥλιον· sun;καὶ andἐδόθη it was givenαὐτῷ to itκαυματίσαι to scorchτοὺς theἀνθρώπους menἐν inπυρί, fire, 9  καὶ andἐκαυματίσθησαν were scorchedοἱ theἄνθρωποι menκαῦμα scorchingμέγα· great;καὶ andἐβλασφήμησαν they blasphemedτὸ theὄνομα nameτοῦ of theθεοῦ Godτοῦ the (one)ἔχοντος havingτὴν theἐξουσίαν authorityἐπὶ uponτὰς theπληγὰς plaguesταύτας, these,καὶ andοὐ notμετενόησαν they repentedδοῦναι to giveαὐτῷ to himδόξαν. glory. 10  Καὶ Andὁ theπέμπτος fifth (one)ἐξέχεεν poured outτὴν theφιάλην bowlαὐτοῦ of himἐπὶ uponτὸν theθρόνον throneτοῦ of theθηρίου· wild beast;καὶ andἐγένετο becameἡ theβασιλεία kingdomαὐτοῦ of itἐσκοτωμένη, having been darkened,καὶ andἐμασῶντο they were chewingτὰς theγλώσσας tonguesαὐτῶν of themἐκ out ofτοῦ theπόνου, pain, 11  καὶ andἐβλασφήμησαν they blasphemedτὸν theθεὸν Godτοῦ of theοὐρανοῦ heavenἐκ out ofτῶν theπόνων painsαὐτῶν of themκαὶ andἐκ out ofτῶν theἑλκῶν ulcersαὐτῶν, of them,καὶ andοὐ notμετενόησαν they repentedἐκ out ofτῶν theἔργων worksαὐτῶν. of them. 12  Καὶ Andὁ theἕκτος sixth (one)ἐξέχεεν poured outτὴν theφιάλην bowlαὐτοῦ of himἐπὶ uponτὸν theποταμὸν riverτὸν theμέγαν greatτὸν theΕὐφράτην· Euphrates;καὶ andἐξηράνθη was dried upτὸ theὕδωρ waterαὐτοῦ, of it,ἵνα in order thatἑτοιμασθῇ might be preparedἡ theὁδὸς wayτῶν of theβασιλέων kingsτῶν the (ones)ἀπὸ fromἀνατολῆς risingἡλίου. of sun. 13  Καὶ Andεἶδον I sawἐκ out ofτοῦ theστόματος mouthτοῦ of theδράκοντος dragonκαὶ andἐκ out ofτοῦ theστόματος mouthτοῦ of theθηρίου wild beastκαὶ andἐκ out ofτοῦ theστόματος mouthτοῦ of theψευδοπροφήτου false prophetπνεύματα spiritsτρία threeἀκάθαρτα uncleanὡς asβάτραχοι· frogs; 14  εἰσὶν they areγὰρ forπνεύματα spiritsδαιμονίων of demonsποιοῦντα (they) doingσημεῖα, signs,ἃ whichἐκπορεύεται is going outἐπὶ uponτοὺς theβασιλεῖς kingsτῆς of theοἰκουμένης being inhabited [earth]ὅλης, whole,συναγαγεῖν to lead togetherαὐτοὺς themεἰς intoτὸν theπόλεμον warτῆς of theἡμέρας dayτῆς theμεγάλης greatτοῦ of theθεοῦ Godτοῦ theπαντοκράτορος.— Almighty.— 15  Ἰδοὺ Look!ἔρχομαι I am comingὡς asκλέπτης. thief.μακάριος Happyὁ the (one)γρηγορῶν staying awakeκαὶ andτηρῶν keepingτὰ theἱμάτια outer garmentsαὐτοῦ, of him,ἵνα in order thatμὴ notγυμνὸς nakedπεριπατῇ may be walking aboutκαὶ andβλέπωσιν they may be looking atτὴν theἀσχημοσύνην shamefulnessαὐτοῦ.— of him.— 16  καὶ Andσυνήγαγεν it led togetherαὐτοὺς themεἰς intoτὸν theτόπον placeτὸν the (one)καλούμενον being called᾿Εβραϊστὶ in HebrewἋρ Har-Μαγεδών. Magedon. 17  Καὶ Andὁ theἕβδομος seventh (one)ἐξέχεεν poured outτὴν theφιάλην bowlαὐτοῦ of himἐπὶ uponτὸν theἀέρα·— air;—καὶ andἐξῆλθεν came outφωνὴ voiceμεγάλη greatἐκ out ofτοῦ theναοῦ divine habitationἀπὸ fromτοῦ theθρόνου throneλέγουσα sayingΓέγονεν·— It has occurred;— 18  καὶ Andἐγένοντο occurredἀστραπαὶ lightningsκαὶ andφωναὶ voicesκαὶ andβρονταί, thunders,καὶ andσεισμὸς [earth] shakingἐγένετο occurredμέγας, great,οἷος which sortοὐκ notἐγένετο occurredἀφ’ fromοὗ which [time]ἄνθρωποι menἐγένοντο came to beἐπὶ uponτῆς theγῆς earthτηλικοῦτος so bigσεισμὸς [earth] shakingοὕτω thusμέγας, great, 19  καὶ andἐγένετο becameἡ theπόλις cityἡ theμεγάλη greatεἰς intoτρία threeμέρη, parts,καὶ andαἱ theπόλεις citiesτῶν of theἐθνῶν nationsἔπεσαν· fell;καὶ andΒαβυλὼν Babylonἡ theμεγάλη greatἐμνήσθη was rememberedἐνώπιον in sightτοῦ of theθεοῦ Godδοῦναι to giveαὐτῇ to herτὸ theποτήριον cupτοῦ of theοἴνου wineτοῦ of theθυμοῦ angerτῆς of theὀργῆς wrathαὐτοῦ· of him; 20  καὶ andπᾶσα everyνῆσος islandἔφυγεν, fled,καὶ andὄρη mountainsοὐχ notεὑρέθησαν. were found. 21  καὶ Andχάλαζα hailμεγάλη greatὡς asταλαντιαία of the weight of talentκαταβαίνει is stepping downἐκ out ofτοῦ theοὐρανοῦ heavenἐπὶ uponτοὺς theἀνθρώπους· men;καὶ andἐβλασφήμησαν blasphemedοἱ theἄνθρωποι menτὸν theθεὸν Godἐκ out ofτῆς theπληγῆς plagueτῆς of theχαλάζης, hail,ὅτι becauseμεγάλη greatἐστὶν isἡ theπληγὴ plagueαὐτῆς of itσφόδρα. exceedingly.
