Revelation 17:1-18

17  Καὶ Andἦλθεν cameεἷς oneἐκ out ofτῶν theἑπτὰ sevenἀγγέλων angelsτῶν the (ones)ἐχόντων havingτὰς theἑπτὰ sevenφιάλας, bowls,καὶ andἐλάλησεν spokeμετ’ withἐμοῦ meλέγων sayingΔεῦρο, Hither,δείξω I shall showσοι to youτὸ theκρίμα judgmentτῆς of theπόρνης harlotτῆς theμεγάλης greatτῆς the (one)καθημένης sittingἐπὶ uponὑδάτων watersπολλῶν, many, 2  μεθ’ withἧς whomἐπόρνευσαν committed fornicationοἱ theβασιλεῖς kingsτῆς of theγῆς, earth,καὶ andἐμεθύσθησαν they were made drunkοἱ the (ones)κατοικοῦντες inhabitingτὴν theγῆν earthἐκ out ofτοῦ theοἴνου wineτῆς of theπορνείας fornicationαὐτῆς. of her. 3  καὶ Andἀπήνεγκέν he bore offμε meεἰς intoἔρημον desolate [place]ἐν inπνεύματι. spirit.καὶ Andεἶδον I sawγυναῖκα womanκαθημένην sittingἐπὶ uponθηρίον wild beastκόκκινον, scarlet,γέμοντα being full ofὀνόματα namesβλασφημίας, of blasphemy,ἔχων havingκεφαλὰς headsἑπτὰ sevenκαὶ andκέρατα hornsδέκα· ten; 4  καὶ andἡ theγυνὴ womanἦν wasπεριβεβλημένη having been thrown aboutπορφυροῦν purpleκαὶ andκόκκινον, scarlet,καὶ andκεχρυσωμένη having been gildedχρυσίῳ to goldκαὶ andλίθῳ to stoneτιμίῳ preciousκαὶ andμαργαρίταις, to pearls,ἔχουσα havingποτήριον cupχρυσοῦν goldenἐν inτῇ theχειρὶ handαὐτῆς of herγέμον being fullβδελυγμάτων of disgusting thingsκαὶ andτὰ theἀκάθαρτα unclean (things)τῆς of theπορνείας fornicationαὐτῆς, of her, 5  καὶ andἐπὶ uponτὸ theμέτωπον foreheadαὐτῆς of herὄνομα nameγεγραμμένον, having been written,μυστήριον, mystery,Βαβυλὼν Babylonἡ theΜεγάλη, Great,ἡ theμήτηρ motherτῶν of theπορνῶν harlotsκαὶ andτῶν of theβδελυγμάτων disgusting thingsτῆς of theγῆς. earth. 6  καὶ Andεἶδον I sawτὴν theγυναῖκα womanμεθύουσαν being drunkἐκ out ofτοῦ theαἵματος bloodτῶν of theἁγίων holy (ones)καὶ andἐκ out ofτοῦ theαἵματος bloodτῶν of theμαρτύρων witnessesἸησοῦ. of Jesus. Καὶ Andἐθαύμασα I wonderedἰδὼν having seenαὐτὴν herθαῦμα wondermentμέγα· great; 7  καὶ andεἶπέν saidμοι to meὁ theἄγγελος angelΔιὰ Throughτί whatἐθαύμασας; wondered you?ἐγὼ Iἐρῶ shall sayσοι to youτὸ theμυστήριον mysteryτῆς of theγυναικὸς womanκαὶ andτοῦ of theθηρίου wild beastτοῦ the (one)βαστάζοντος carryingαὐτήν, her,τοῦ of the (one)ἔχοντος havingτὰς theἑπτὰ sevenκεφαλὰς headsκαὶ andτὰ theδέκα tenκέρατα. horns; 8  τὸ theθηρίον wild beastὃ whichεἶδες you sawἦν it wasκαὶ andοὐκ notἔστιν, it is,καὶ andμέλλει it is aboutἀναβαίνειν to be stepping upἐκ out ofτῆς theἀβύσσου, abyss,καὶ andεἰς intoἀπώλειαν destructionὑπάγει· it is going under;καὶ andθαυμασθήσονται will wonderοἱ the (ones)κατοικοῦντες inhabitingἐπὶ uponτῆς theγῆς, earth,ὧν of which (ones)οὐ notγέγραπται has been writtenτὸ theὄνομα nameἐπὶ uponτὸ theβιβλίον little bookτῆς of theζωῆς lifeἀπὸ fromκαταβολῆς throwing downκόσμου, of world,βλεπόντων of (ones) looking atτὸ theθηρίον wild beastὅτι becauseἦν it wasκαὶ andοὐκ notἔστιν it isκαὶ andπάρεσται. it will be alongside. 9  ῟Ωδε Hereὁ theνοῦς mindὁ the (one)ἔχων havingσοφίαν. wisdom.αἱ Theἑπτὰ sevenκεφαλαὶ headsἑπτὰ sevenὄρη mountainsεἰσίν, are,ὅπου whereἡ theγυνὴ womanκάθηται is sittingἐπ’ uponαὐτῶν. them. 10  καὶ Andβασιλεῖς kingsἑπτά sevenεἰσιν· are;οἱ theπέντε fiveἔπεσαν, fell,ὁ theεἷς oneἔστιν, is,ὁ theἄλλος other (one)οὔπω not as yetἦλθεν, came,καὶ andὅταν wheneverἔλθῃ he should comeὀλίγον little [time]αὐτὸν himδεῖ it is bindingμεῖναι, to remain, 11  καὶ andτὸ theθηρίον wild beastὃ whichἦν wasκαὶ andοὐκ notἔστιν. it is.καὶ Andαὐτὸς heὄγδοός eighth (one)ἐστιν isκαὶ andἐκ out ofτῶν theἑπτά sevenἐστιν, he is,καὶ andεἰς intoἀπώλειαν destructionὑπάγει. he is going under. 12  καὶ Andτὰ theδέκα tenκέρατα hornsἃ whichεἶδες you sawδέκα tenβασιλεῖς kingsεἰσίν, they are,οἵτινες whoβασιλείαν kingdomοὔπω not as yetἔλαβον, received,ἀλλὰ butἐξουσίαν authorityὡς asβασιλεῖς kingsμίαν oneὥραν hourλαμβάνουσιν they are receivingμετὰ withτοῦ theθηρίου. wild beast. 13  οὗτοι Theseμίαν oneγνώμην opinionἔχουσιν, are having,καὶ andτὴν theδύναμιν powerκαὶ andἐξουσίαν authorityαὐτῶν of themτῷ to theθηρίῳ wild beastδιδόασιν. they are giving. 14  οὗτοι Theseμετὰ withτοῦ theἀρνίου Lambπολεμήσουσιν, will war,καὶ andτὸ theἀρνίον Lambνικήσει will conquerαὐτούς, them,ὅτι becauseκύριος Lordκυρίων of lordsἐστὶν he isκαὶ andβασιλεὺς Kingβασιλέων, of kings,καὶ andοἱ the (ones)μετ’ withαὐτοῦ himκλητοὶ called (ones)καὶ andἐκλεκτοὶ chosen (ones)καὶ andπιστοί. faithful (ones). 15  Καὶ Andλέγει he is sayingμοι to meΤὰ Theὕδατα watersἃ whichεἶδες, you saw,οὗ whereἡ theπόρνη harlotκάθηται, is sitting,λαοὶ peoplesκαὶ andὄχλοι crowdsεἰσὶν they areκαὶ andἔθνη nationsκαὶ andγλῶσσαι. tongues. 16  καὶ Andτὰ theδέκα tenκέρατα hornsἃ whichεἶδες you sawκαὶ andτὸ theθηρίον, wild beast,οὗτοι theseμισήσουσιν will hateτὴν theπόρνην, harlot,καὶ andἠρημωμένην having been desolatedποιήσουσιν they will makeαὐτὴν herκαὶ andγυμνήν, naked,καὶ andτὰς theσάρκας fleshesαὐτῆς of herφάγονται, they will eat,καὶ andαὐτὴν herκατακαύσουσιν they will burn downἐν inπυρί· fire; 17  ὁ theγὰρ forθεὸς Godἔδωκεν gaveεἰς intoτὰς theκαρδίας heartsαὐτῶν of themποιῆσαι to doτὴν theγνώμην opinionαὐτοῦ, of him,καὶ andποιῆσαι to doμίαν oneγνώμην opinionκαὶ andδοῦναι to giveτὴν theβασιλείαν kingdomαὐτῶν of themτῷ to theθηρίῳ, wild beast,ἄχρι untilτελεσθήσονται will be finishedοἱ theλόγοι wordsτοῦ of theθεοῦ. God. 18  καὶ Andἡ theγυνὴ womanἣν whomεἶδες you sawἔστιν isἡ theπόλις cityἡ theμεγάλη greatἡ the (one)ἔχουσα havingβασιλείαν kingdomἐπὶ uponτῶν theβασιλέων kingsτῆς of theγῆς. earth.
