Revelation 21:1-27

21  Καὶ Andεἶδον I sawοὐρανὸν heavenκαινὸν newκαὶ andγῆν earthκαινήν· new;theγὰρ forπρῶτος firstοὐρανὸς heavenκαὶ andtheπρώτη firstγῆ earthἀπῆλθαν, went off,καὶ andtheθάλασσα seaοὐκ notἔστιν isἔτι. yet. 2  καὶ Andτὴν theπόλιν cityτὴν theἁγίαν holyἸερουσαλὴμ Jerusalemκαινὴν newεἶδον I sawκαταβαίνουσαν stepping downἐκ out ofτοῦ theοὐρανοῦ heavenἀπὸ fromτοῦ theθεοῦ, God,ἡτοιμασμένην having been preparedὡς asνύμφην brideκεκοσμημένην having been adornedτῷ to theἀνδρὶ male personαὐτῆς. of her. 3  καὶ Andἤκουσα I heardφωνῆς of voiceμεγάλης greatἐκ out ofτοῦ theθρόνου throneλεγούσης sayingἸδοὺ Look!Theσκηνὴ tentτοῦ of theθεοῦ Godμετὰ withτῶν theἀνθρώπων, men,καὶ andσκηνώσει he will tentμετ’ withαὐτῶν, them,καὶ andαὐτοὶ theyλαοὶ peoplesαὐτοῦ of himἔσονται, will be,καὶ andαὐτὸς hetheθεὸς Godμετ’ withαὐτῶν themἔσται, will be, 4  καὶ andἐξαλείψει he will wipe outπᾶν everyδάκρυον tearἐκ out ofτῶν theὀφθαλμῶν eyesαὐτῶν, of them,καὶ andtheθάνατος deathοὐκ notἔσται will beἔτι· yet;οὔτε neitherπένθος mourningοὔτε norκραυγὴ outcryοὔτε norπόνος painοὐκ notἔσται it will beἔτι. yet.τὰ Theπρῶτα first (things)ἀπῆλθαν. went off. 5  καὶ Andεἶπεν saidthe (one)καθήμενος sittingἐπὶ uponτῷ theθρόνῳ throneἸδοὺ Look!καινὰ Newποιῶ I am makingπάντα. all (things).καὶ Andλέγει he is sayingΓράψον, Write,ὅτι becauseοὗτοι theseοἱ theλόγοι wordsπιστοὶ faithfulκαὶ andἀληθινοί trueεἰσιν. are. 6  καὶ Andεἶπέν he saidμοι to meΓέγοναν. They have occurred.ἐγὼ Iτὸ theἌλφα Alphaκαὶ andτὸ the῏Ω, Omega,theἀρχὴ beginningκαὶ andτὸ theτέλος. end.ἐγὼ Iτῷ to the (one)διψῶντι thirstingδώσω I shall giveἐκ out ofτῆς theπηγῆς fountainτοῦ of theὕδατος waterτῆς of theζωῆς lifeδωρεάν. (as) free gift. 7  The (one)νικῶν conqueringκληρονομήσει will inheritταῦτα, these (things),καὶ andἔσομαι I shall beαὐτῷ to himθεὸς Godκαὶ andαὐτὸς heἔσται will beμοι to meυἱός. son. 8  τοῖς To theδὲ butδειλοῖς cowardsκαὶ andἀπίστοις to unbelieving (ones)καὶ andἐβδελυγμένοις to (ones) having been made disgustingκαὶ andφονεῦσι to murderersκαὶ andπόρνοις to fornicatorsκαὶ andφαρμακοῖς to druggersκαὶ andεἰδωλολάτραις to idolatersκαὶ andπᾶσι to allτοῖς theψευδέσιν liarsτὸ theμέρος partαὐτῶν of themἐν inτῇ theλίμνῃ lakeτῇ the (one)καιομένῃ burningπυρὶ to fireκαὶ andθείῳ, sulphur,whichἐστιν istheθάνατος deaththeδεύτερος. second. 9  Καὶ Andἦλθεν cameεἷς oneἐκ out ofτῶν theἑπτὰ sevenἀγγέλων angelsτῶν of the (ones)ἐχόντων havingτὰς theἑπτὰ sevenφιάλας, bowls,τῶν of the (ones)γεμόντων being fullτῶν of theἑπτὰ sevenπληγῶν plaguesτῶν theἐσχάτων, last,καὶ andἐλάλησεν he spokeμετ’ withἐμοῦ meλέγων sayingΔεῦρο, Hither,δείξω I shall showσοι to youτὴν theνύμφην brideτὴν theγυναῖκα womanτοῦ of theἀρνίου. Lamb. 10  καὶ Andἀπήνεγκέν he bore offμε meἐν inπνεύματι spiritἐπὶ uponὄρος mountainμέγα greatκαὶ andὑψηλόν, high,καὶ andἔδειξέν he showedμοι to meτὴν theπόλιν cityτὴν theἁγίαν holyἸερουσαλὴμ Jerusalemκαταβαίνουσαν stepping downἐκ out ofτοῦ theοὐρανοῦ heavenἀπὸ fromτοῦ theθεοῦ, God, 11  ἔχουσαν havingτὴν theδόξαν gloryτοῦ of theθεοῦ· God;theφωστὴρ illuminatorαὐτῆς of itὅμοιος likeλίθῳ to stoneτιμιωτάτῳ, most precious,ὡς asλίθῳ to stoneἰάσπιδι jasperκρυσταλλίζοντι· being clear like crystal; 12  ἔχουσα (she) havingτεῖχος wallμέγα greatκαὶ andὑψηλόν, high,ἔχουσα havingπυλῶνας gatesδώδεκα, twelve,καὶ andἐπὶ uponτοῖς theπυλῶσιν gatesἀγγέλους angelsδώδεκα, twelve,καὶ andὀνόματα namesἐπιγεγραμμένα having been inscribedwhich (ones)ἐστιν isτῶν of theδώδεκα twelveφυλῶν tribesυἱῶν of sonsἸσραήλ· of Israel; 13  ἀπὸ fromἀνατολῆς (sun) risingπυλῶνες gatesτρεῖς, three,καὶ andἀπὸ fromβορρᾶ northπυλῶνες gatesτρεῖς, three,καὶ andἀπὸ fromνότου southπυλῶνες gatesτρεῖς, three,καὶ andἀπὸ fromδυσμῶν (sun) settingsπυλῶνες gatesτρεῖς· three; 14  καὶ andτὸ theτεῖχος wallτῆς of theπόλεως cityἔχων havingθεμελίους foundation [stones]δώδεκα, twelve,καὶ andἐπ’ uponαὐτῶν themδώδεκα twelveὀνόματα namesτῶν of theδώδεκα twelveἀποστόλων apostlesτοῦ of theἀρνίου. Lamb. 15  Καὶ Andthe (one)λαλῶν speakingμετ’ withἐμοῦ meεἶχεν was havingμέτρον measureκάλαμον reedχρυσοῦν, golden,ἵνα in order thatμετρήσῃ he might measureτὴν theπόλιν cityκαὶ andτοὺς theπυλῶνας gatesαὐτῆς of itκαὶ andτὸ theτεῖχος wallαὐτῆς. of it. 16  καὶ Andtheπόλις cityτετράγωνος four-corneredκεῖται, is lying,καὶ andτὸ theμῆκος lengthαὐτῆς of itὅσον as much asτὸ theπλάτος. breadth.καὶ Andἐμέτρησεν he measuredτὴν theπόλιν cityτῷ to theκαλάμῳ reedἐπὶ uponσταδίων stadiaδώδεκα twelveχιλιάδων· thousand;τὸ theμῆκος lengthκαὶ andτὸ theπλάτος breadthκαὶ andτὸ theὕψος heightαὐτῆς of itἴσα equal (ones)ἐστίν. is. 17  καὶ Andἐμέτρησεν he measuredτὸ theτεῖχος wallαὐτῆς of itἑκατὸν hundredτεσσεράκοντα forty-τεσσάρων fourπηχῶν, of cubits,μέτρον measureἀνθρώπου, of man,whichἐστιν isἀγγέλου. of angel. 18  καὶ Andtheἐνδώμησις structureτοῦ of theτείχους wallαὐτῆς of itἴασπις, jasper,καὶ andtheπόλις cityχρυσίον goldκαθαρὸν cleanὅμοιον likeὑάλῳ to glassκαθαρῷ· clean; 19  οἱ theθεμέλιοι foundation [stones]τοῦ of theτείχους wallτῆς of theπόλεως cityπαντὶ to everyλίθῳ stoneτιμίῳ preciousκεκοσμημένοι· (ones) having been adorned;theθεμέλιος foundation [stone]theπρῶτος first (one)ἴασπις, jasper,theδεύτερος second (one)σάπφειρος, sapphire,theτρίτος third (one)χαλκηδών, chalcedony,theτέταρτος fourth (one)σμάραγδος, emerald, 20  theπέμπτος fifth (one)σαρδόνυξ, sardonyx,theἕκτος sixth (one)σάρδιον, sardius,theἕβδομος seventh (one)χρυσόλιθος, chrysolite,theὄγδοος eighth (one)βήρυλλος, beryl,theἔνατος ninth (one)τοπάζιον, topaz,theδέκατος tenth (one)χρυσόπρασος, chrysoprase,theἑνδέκατος eleventh (one)ὑάκινθος, hyacinth,theδωδέκατος twelfth (one)ἀμέθυστος· amethyst; 21  καὶ andοἱ theδώδεκα twelveπυλῶνες gatesδώδεκα twelveμαργαρῖται, pearls,ἀνὰ upεἷς oneἕκαστος eachτῶν of theπυλώνων gatesἦν wasἐξ out ofἑνὸς oneμαργαρίτου· pearl;καὶ andtheπλατεῖα broad wayτῆς of theπόλεως cityχρυσίον goldκαθαρὸν cleanὡς asὕαλος glassδιαυγής. through-beamed. 22  Καὶ Andναὸν divine habitationοὐκ notεἶδον I sawἐν inαὐτῇ, it,theγὰρ forκύριος, Lord,theθεός, God,theπαντοκράτωρ, Almighty,ναὸς divine habitationαὐτῆς of itἐστίν, is,καὶ andτὸ theἀρνίον. Lamb. 23  καὶ Andtheπόλις cityοὐ notχρείαν needἔχει is havingτοῦ of theἡλίου sunοὐδὲ not-butτῆς of theσελήνης, moon,ἵνα in order thatφαίνωσιν they may be shiningαὐτῇ, to it,theγὰρ forδόξα gloryτοῦ of theθεοῦ Godἐφώτισεν lighted upαὐτήν, it,καὶ andtheλύχνος lampαὐτῆς of itτὸ theἀρνίον. Lamb. 24  καὶ Andπεριπατήσουσιν will walk aboutτὰ theἔθνη nationsδιὰ throughτοῦ theφωτὸς lightαὐτῆς· of it;καὶ andοἱ theβασιλεῖς kingsτῆς of theγῆς earthφέρουσιν are bearingτὴν theδόξαν gloryαὐτῶν of themεἰς intoαὐτήν· it; 25  καὶ andοἱ theπυλῶνες gatesαὐτῆς of itοὐ notμὴ notκλεισθῶσιν should be shut upἡμέρας, of day,νὺξ nightγὰρ forοὐκ notἔσται will beἐκεῖ there 26  καὶ andοἴσουσιν they will bearτὴν theδόξαν gloryκαὶ andτὴν theτιμὴν honorτῶν of theἐθνῶν nationsεἰς intoαὐτήν. it. 27  καὶ Andοὐ notμὴ notεἰσέλθῃ might enterεἰς intoαὐτὴν itπᾶν everyκοινὸν common (thing)καὶ andthe (one)ποιῶν doingβδέλυγμα disgusting thingκαὶ andψεῦδος, lie,εἰ ifμὴ notοἱ the (ones)γεγραμμένοι having been writtenἐν inτῷ theβιβλίῳ little bookτῆς of theζωῆς lifeτοῦ of theἀρνίου.
