Revelation 4:1-11

4  Μετὰ Afterταῦτα these (things)εἶδον, I saw,καὶ andἰδοὺ look!θύρα doorἠνεῳγμένη having been opened upἐν inτῷ theοὐρανῷ, heaven,καὶ andἡ theφωνὴ voiceἡ theπρώτη firstἣν whichἤκουσα I heardὡς asσάλπιγγος of trumpetλαλούσης speakingμετ’ withἐμοῦ, me,λέγων saying᾿Ανάβα Step upὧδε, here,καὶ andδείξω I shall showσοι to youἃ what (things)δεῖ it is bindingγενέσθαι. to occur. 2  μετὰ Afterταῦτα these (things)εὐθέως immediatelyἐγενόμην I came to beἐν inπνεύματι· spirit;καὶ andἰδοὺ look!θρόνος throneἔκειτο was lyingἐν inτῷ theοὐρανῷ, heaven,καὶ andἐπὶ uponτὸν theθρόνον throneκαθήμενος, (one) sitting, 3  καὶ andὁ the (one)καθήμενος sittingὅμοιος likeὁράσει to seeingλίθῳ to stoneἰάσπιδι jasperκαὶ andσαρδίῳ, to sardius,καὶ andἶρις rainbowκυκλόθεν from circleτοῦ of theθρόνου throneὅμοιος likeὁράσει to seeingσμαραγδίνῳ. to emerald. 4  καὶ Andκυκλόθεν from circleτοῦ of theθρόνου throneθρόνοι thronesεἴκοσι twenty-τέσσαρες, four,καὶ andἐπὶ uponτοὺς theθρόνους thronesεἴκοσι twenty-τέσσαρας fourπρεσβυτέρους older personsκαθημένους sittingπεριβεβλημένους having had thrown about themἱματίοις to outer garmentsλευκοῖς, white,καὶ andἐπὶ uponτὰς theκεφαλὰς headsαὐτῶν of themστεφάνους crownsχρυσοῦς. golden. 5  καὶ Andἐκ out ofτοῦ theθρόνου throneἐκπορεύονται are coming outἀστραπαὶ lightningsκαὶ andφωναὶ voicesκαὶ andβρονταί· thunders;καὶ andἑπτὰ sevenλαμπάδες lampsπυρὸς of fireκαιόμεναι burningἐνώπιον in sightτοῦ of theθρόνου, throne,ἅ which (things)εἰσιν areτὰ theἑπτὰ sevenπνεύματα spiritsτοῦ of theθεοῦ, God, 6  καὶ andἐνώπιον in sightτοῦ of theθρόνου throneὡς asθάλασσα seaὑαλίνη glassyὁμοία likeκρυστάλλῳ. to crystal. καὶ Andἐν inμέσῳ midstτοῦ of theθρόνου throneκαὶ andκύκλῳ to circleτοῦ of theθρόνου throneτέσσερα fourζῷα living [creatures]γέμοντα being fullὀφθαλμῶν of eyesἔμπροσθεν in frontκαὶ andὄπισθεν· from behind; 7  καὶ andτὸ theζῷον living [creature]τὸ theπρῶτον firstὅμοιον likeλέοντι, to lion,καὶ andτὸ theδεύτερον secondζῷον living [creature]ὅμοιον likeμόσχῳ, to young bull,καὶ andτὸ theτρίτον thirdζῷον living [creature]ἔχων havingτὸ theπρόσωπον faceὡς asἀνθρώπου, of man,καὶ andτὸ theτέταρτον fourthζῷον living [creature]ὅμοιον likeἀετῷ to eagleπετομένῳ· flying; 8  καὶ andτὰ theτέσσερα fourζῷα, living [creatures],ἓν oneκαθ’ down onἓν oneαὐτῶν of themἔχων havingἀνὰ upπτέρυγας wingsἕξ, six,κυκλόθεν from circleκαὶ andἔσωθεν from inwardlyγέμουσιν they are fullὀφθαλμῶν· of eyes;καὶ andἀνάπαυσιν resting upοὐκ notἔχουσιν they are havingἡμέρας of dayκαὶ andνυκτὸς of nightλέγοντες [they] sayingἍγιος, Holy,ἅγιος holyἅγιος holyΚύριος, Lord,ὁ theθεός, God,ὁ theπαντοκράτωρ, Almighty,ὁ the (one)ἦν wasκαὶ andὁ the (one)ὢν beingκαὶ andὁ the (one)ἐρχόμενος. coming. 9  Καὶ Andὅταν wheneverδώσουσιν will giveτὰ theζῷα living [creatures]δόξαν gloryκαὶ andτιμὴν honorκαὶ andεὐχαριστίαν thanksgivingτῷ to theκαθημένῳ (one) sittingἐπὶ uponτοῦ theθρόνου, throne,τῷ to the (one)ζῶντι livingεἰς intoτοὺς theαἰῶνας agesτῶν of theαἰώνων, ages, 10  πεσοῦνται will fallοἱ theεἴκοσι twenty-τέσσαρες fourπρεσβύτεροι older personsἐνώπιον in sightτοῦ of the (one)καθημένου sittingἐπὶ uponτοῦ theθρόνου, throne,καὶ andπροσκυνήσουσιν they will worshipτῷ to the (one)ζῶντι livingεἰς intoτοὺς theαἰῶνας agesτῶν of theαἰώνων, ages,καὶ andβαλοῦσιν they will throwτοὺς theστεφάνους crownsαὐτῶν of themἐνώπιον in sightτοῦ of theθρόνου, throne,λέγοντες saying 11  Ἄξιος Worthyεἶ, you are,ὁ theκύριος Lordκαὶ andὁ theθεὸς Godἡμῶν, of us,λαβεῖν to receiveτὴν theδόξαν gloryκαὶ andτὴν theτιμὴν honorκαὶ andτὴν theδύναμιν, power,ὅτι becauseσὺ youἔκτισας createdτὰ theπάντα, all (things),καὶ andδιὰ throughτὸ theθέλημά willσου of youἦσαν they wereκαὶ andἐκτίσθησαν. they were created.
