Revelation 5:1-14

5  Καὶ Andεἶδον I sawἐπὶ uponτὴν theδεξιὰν right [hand]τοῦ of the (one)καθημένου sittingἐπὶ uponτοῦ theθρόνου throneβιβλίον little bookγεγραμμένον having been writtenἔσωθεν from inwardlyκαὶ andὄπισθεν, from behind,κατεσφραγισμένον having been sealed downσφραγῖσιν to sealsἑπτά. seven. 2  καὶ Andεἶδον I sawἄγγελον angelἰσχυρὸν strongκηρύσσοντα heraldingἐν inφωνῇ voiceμεγάλῃ greatΤίς Whoἄξιος worthyἀνοῖξαι to open upτὸ theβιβλίον little bookκαὶ andλῦσαι to looseτὰς theσφραγῖδας sealsαὐτοῦ; of it? 3  καὶ Andοὐδεὶς no oneἐδύνατο was ableἐν inτῷ theοὐρανῷ heavenοὐδὲ norἐπὶ uponτῆς theγῆς earthοὐδὲ norὑποκάτω underneathτῆς theγῆς earthἀνοῖξαι to open upτὸ theβιβλίον little bookοὔτε norβλέπειν to be looking atαὐτό. it. 4  καὶ Andἐγὼ Iἔκλαιον was weepingπολὺ muchὅτι becauseοὐδεὶς no oneἄξιος worthyεὑρέθη was foundἀνοῖξαι to open upτὸ theβιβλίον little bookοὔτε norβλέπειν to be looking atαὐτό· it; 5  καὶ andεἷς oneἐκ out ofτῶν theπρεσβυτέρων older personsλέγει is sayingμοι to meΜὴ Notκλαῖε· be you weeping;ἰδοὺ look!ἐνίκησεν conqueredὁ theλέων Lionὁ the (one)ἐκ out ofτῆς theφυλῆς tribeἸούδα, of Judah,ἡ theῥίζα rootΔαυείδ, of David,ἀνοῖξαι to open upτὸ theβιβλίον little bookκαὶ andτὰς theἑπτὰ sevenσφραγῖδας sealsαὐτοῦ. of it. 6  Καὶ Andεἶδον I sawἐν inμέσῳ midstτοῦ of theθρόνου throneκαὶ andτῶν of theτεσσάρων fourζῴων living [creatures]καὶ andἐν inμέσῳ middleτῶν of theπρεσβυτέρων older personsἀρνίον lambἑστηκὸς having stoodὡς asἐσφαγμένον, having been slaughtered,ἔχων havingκέρατα hornsἑπτὰ sevenκαὶ andὀφθαλμοὺς eyesἑπτά, seven,οἵ whichεἰσιν areτὰ theἑπτὰ sevenπνεύματα spiritsτοῦ of theθεοῦ, God,ἀπεσταλμένοι having been sent offεἰς intoπᾶσαν allτὴν theγῆν. earth. 7  καὶ Andἦλθεν he cameκαὶ andεἴληφεν he has takenἐκ out ofτῆς theδεξιᾶς right [hand]τοῦ of the (one)καθημένου sittingἐπὶ uponτοῦ theθρόνου. throne, 8  Καὶ Andὅτε whenἔλαβεν he tookτὸ theβιβλίον, little book,τὰ theτέσσερα fourζῷα living [creatures]καὶ andοἱ theεἴκοσι twenty-τέσσαρες fourπρεσβύτεροι older personsἔπεσαν fellἐνώπιον in sightτοῦ of theἀρνίου, Lamb,ἔχοντες havingἕκαστος each (one)κιθάραν harpκαὶ andφιάλας bowlsχρυσᾶς goldenγεμούσας being fullθυμιαμάτων, of incenses,αἵ whichεἰσιν areαἱ theπροσευχαὶ prayersτῶν of theἁγίων· holy (ones); 9  καὶ andᾄδουσιν they are singingᾠδὴν songκαινὴν newλέγοντες (they) sayingἌξιος Worthyεἶ are youλαβεῖν to receiveτὸ theβιβλίον little bookκαὶ andἀνοῖξαι to open upτὰς theσφραγῖδας sealsαὐτοῦ, of it,ὅτι becauseἐσφάγης you were slaughteredκαὶ andἠγόρασας you boughtτῷ to theθεῷ Godἐν inτῷ theαἵματί bloodσου of youἐκ out ofπάσης everyφυλῆς tribeκαὶ andγλώσσης of tongueκαὶ andλαοῦ of peopleκαὶ andἔθνους, of nation, 10  καὶ andἐποίησας you madeαὐτοὺς themτῷ to theθεῷ Godἡμῶν of usβασιλείαν kingdomκαὶ andἱερεῖς, priests,καὶ andβασιλεύουσιν they are reigningἐπὶ uponτῆς theγῆς. earth. 11  καὶ Andεἶδον, I saw,καὶ andἤκουσα I heardφωνὴν voiceἀγγέλων of angelsπολλῶν manyκύκλῳ to circleτοῦ of theθρόνου throneκαὶ andτῶν of theζῴων living [creatures]καὶ andτῶν of theπρεσβυτέρων, older persons,καὶ andἦν wasὁ theἀριθμὸς numberαὐτῶν of themμυριάδες myriadsμυριάδων of myriadsκαὶ andχιλιάδες thousandsχιλιάδων, of thousands, 12  λέγοντες sayingφωνῇ to voiceμεγάλῃ greatἌξιόν Worthyἐστιν isτὸ theἀρνίον Lambτὸ the (one)ἐσφαγμένον having been slaughteredλαβεῖν to receiveτὴν theδύναμιν powerκαὶ andπλοῦτον richesκαὶ andσοφίαν wisdomκαὶ andἰσχὺν strengthκαὶ andτιμὴν honorκαὶ andδόξαν gloryκαὶ andεὐλογίαν. blessing. 13  καὶ Andπᾶν everyκτίσμα creatureὃ whichἐν inτῷ theοὐρανῷ heavenκαὶ andἐπὶ uponτῆς theγῆς earthκαὶ andὑποκάτω underneathτῆς theγῆς earthκαὶ andἐπὶ uponτῆς theθαλάσσης seaἐστίν, it is,καὶ andτὰ theἐν inαὐτοῖς themπάντα, all (things),ἤκουσα I heardλέγοντας (them) sayingΤῷ To the (one)καθημένῳ sittingἐπὶ uponτοῦ theθρόνου throneκαὶ andτῷ to theἀρνίῳ Lambἡ theεὐλογία blessingκαὶ andἡ theτιμὴ honorκαὶ andἡ theδόξα gloryκαὶ andτὸ theκράτος mightεἰς intoτοὺς theαἰῶνας agesτῶν of theαἰώνων. ages. 14  καὶ Andτὰ theτέσσερα fourζῷα living [creatures]ἔλεγον were saying᾿Αμήν, Amen,καὶ andοἱ theπρεσβύτεροι older personsἔπεσαν fellκαὶ andπροσεκύνησαν. they worshiped.
