A faithful king who repaired and reopened God’s temple, destroyed objects of false worship, and urged people to observe the Passover. (2 Kings 18:4; 2 Chronicles 29:3; 30:1-6) Despite the bad example of his father, King Ahaz, Hezekiah “kept sticking to Jehovah.”—2 Kings 18:6.
