On July 28, 2020, the Furmanovsky City Court of the Ivanovo Region convicted Brother Yevgeniy Spirin. The prosecution requested a seven-year prison term. Instead, the court imposed a fine of 500,000 rubles ($6,920 U.S.). Brother Spirin will appeal the conviction.
