UPDATE | Faithful Witnesses Confident of Jehovah’s Support
On April 4, 2022, the Abakan City Court of the Republic of Khakassia convicted Sister Matrena Spiriadi and Brother Aleksandr Vergunov. They each received a suspended prison sentence of two and a half years. Sister Irina Sidorova, originally involved in the case, sadly passed away. Matrena and Aleksandr are not required to go to prison at this time.
