JW LIBRARY
Set and Manage Bookmarks—Windows
The bookmark feature of JW Library lets you save your place in any publication, just as you would use a ribbon to save your place in a printed book. Each publication in JW Library has its own set of 10 bookmarks.
Follow these instructions to use bookmarks:
Set a New Bookmark
You can bookmark an article or chapter, or you can bookmark a specific paragraph or Bible verse.
To bookmark an article or chapter, open the App Commands bar, then tap the Bookmark button. A list opens, showing bookmarks for the current publication. Tap an empty item to bookmark the current article or chapter.
To bookmark a specific paragraph or Bible verse, first tap the text, then tap the Bookmark button on the context menu.
Go to a Bookmark
To go to a bookmark, open the publication that contains the bookmark, then open the App Commands bar, then tap the Bookmark button. Tap the bookmark you want to see.
Manage Your Bookmarks
Once a bookmark has been set, you can delete or replace it.
To delete a bookmark, open the App Commands bar, then tap the Bookmark button. Tap the More button next to the bookmark you want to delete. Tap Delete.
To replace a bookmark, open the App Commands bar, then tap the Bookmark button. Tap the More button next to the bookmark you want to replace. Tap Replace. The bookmark is updated with your current place. This can be useful for saving your place in a publication as you read it. For example, you can keep track of your daily Bible reading.
These features were released in August 2014 with JW Library 1.3, which is compatible with Windows 8.0 or later. If you don’t see these features, please follow the instructions in the article “Start Using JW Library—Windows,” under Get the Latest Features.
