laivyavyavastha 5:1-19
5 jo insan koi apradh hote dekhta hai ya us apradh ke baare mein kuch jaanta hai, woh us apradh ka gavah ban jaata hai. agar woh sareaam kiya jaanevala ailan sunta hai ki us apradh ke baare mein gavahi di jaaye,* magar fir bhi aage aakaar us baare mein nahin batata to yah paap hai.+ use apne paap ka lekha dena hoga.
2 ya agar ek insan koi ashuddh cheez chhoota hai, fir chahe woh ashuddh jangli jaanvar ki laash ho ya ashuddh paaltoo jaanvar ki laash ya jhund mein ghoomnevale kisi ashuddh jeev* ki laash,+ to woh ashuddh ho jaayega. chahe usne anjane mein chhua ho fir bhi woh doshi hoga.
3 agar koi anjane mein kisi ashuddh cheez ko chhoota hai+ jisse woh ashuddh ho sakta hai aur use is baat ka pata chalta hai to woh doshi hoga.
4 ya agar koi jaldbazee mein aur bina soche-samjhe kasam khaata hai, fir chahe kuch achha karne ki shapath ho ya bura karne ki, aur baad mein jab use apni galti ka ehsas hota hai ki usne jaldbazee mein kasam khaayi thi to woh doshi hoga.*+
5 agar ek aadmi inmein se koi bhi paap karke doshi ho jaata hai, to use kabool karke batana hoga+ ki usne kya paap kiya hai.
6 saath hi, woh apne paap ke liye dosh-bali ka jaanvar yahova ke paas laayega.+ woh bhed ya bakri ka maada bachcha laayega taaki uski paap-bali chadhayi jaaye. fir yaajak us aadmi ke paap ke liye prayashchit karega.
7 lekin agar apne paap ke liye memne ki dosh-bali dene ki uski haisiyat nahin hai, to use do faakhte ya kabootar ke do bachche yahova ke saamne laane chahiye.+ ek paap-bali ke liye aur doosra hom-bali ke liye.+
8 use ye donon chidiyaan yaajak ke paas laani hongi. yaajak paap-bali ki chidiya ko pehale arpit karega. woh uska gala saamne se nochega magar sir dhad se alag nahin karega.
9 woh paap-bali ki chidiya ka thoda-saa khoon vedi ke ek taraf chhidkega aur baaki khoon vedi ke neeche baha dega.+ yah paap-bali hai.
10 iske baad woh doosri chidiya ki hom-bali chadhayega. woh usi tareeke se hom-bali chadhayega jaise niyamit taur par hom-baliyaan chadhayi jaati hain.+ aur yaajak us aadmi ke paap ke liye prayashchit karega aur uska paap maaf kiya jaayega.+
11 agar us aadmi ke paas do faakhte ya kabootar ke do bachche dene ki bhi haisiyat nahin hai, to use paap-bali ke liye epa ka dasvaan bhaag* maida laana hoga.+ use maide mein na to tel milana chahiye aur na hi uske oopar loban rakhna chahiye, kyonki yah paap-bali hai.
12 woh yaajak ke paas yah maida laayega aur yaajak usmein se mutthi-bhar maida prateek* ke taur par nikaalega. fir woh us mutthi-bhar maide ko vedi par yahova ke liye arpit bali ke oopar rakhkar jalayega taaki uska dhuaan uthe. yah paap-bali hai.
13 us aadmi ne oopar bataye paapon mein se chahe jo bhi paap kiya ho, uske liye yaajak prayashchit karega aur us aadmi ko maaf kiya jaayega.+ anaj ke chadhave ki tarah is chadhave ka bacha hua maida yaajak ka hoga.’”+
14 yahova ne moosa se yah bhi kaha,
15 “agar koi yahova ki pavitra cheezon ke maamle mein anjane mein koi paap karta hai aur vishvasyogya hone se chook jaata hai,+ to use yahova ke paas aisa medha laana hoga jismein koi dosh na ho. use medhe ki dosh-bali chadhani hogi.+ yaajak batayega ki medha pavitra-sthan ke shekel* ke mutabik kitne shekel* chaandi ka hona chahiye.+
16 saath hi, usne jin pavitra cheezon ke maamle mein paap kiya hai, unka muavza bhi use bharna hoga. use muavze mein un cheezon ki keemat aur us keemat ka paanchvaan hissa jodkar ada karna hoga.+ woh yaajak ko yah sab dega taaki woh medhe ki dosh-bali chadhakar uske liye prayashchit kare.+ aur uska paap maaf kiya jaayega.+
17 agar koi aadmi aisa kaam karta hai jise na karne ki aagya yahova ne di hai, to chahe usne yah paap anjane mein kiya ho, fir bhi woh paap ka doshi hoga aur use iska lekha dena hoga.+
18 use paap-bali ke liye yaajak ko aisa medha laakaar dena hoga jismein koi dosh na ho. yah medha batayi gayi keemat ka hona chahiye.+ fir yaajak us aadmi ke anjane mein kiye paap ke liye prayashchit karega aur use maaf kiya jaayega.
19 yah dosh-bali hai kyonki woh beshak yahova ke khilaf paap karke doshi thehra tha.”
