1. Abu Jihofa adohi adua n̄wu amadu n̄wu?
YOU know say Jehovah fit use you answer another person prayer? Jehovah fit use you whether you be elder, ministerial servant, pioneer, no matter who you be. Whether you dey young or you don old, whether you be brother or sister, Jehovah fit still use you help person wey need help. When servant of Jehovah pray for help, most times God de use elders and other brothers and sisters to encourage and support the person. (Col. 4:11) We really de happy to de worship Jehovah and to de help our brothers and sisters. We go fit help them and make their mind come down when sickness de spread for their area, when disaster happen, or when people de suffer them because them de worship Jehovah.

2. Ẹn̄wu chi ki neke gbiti ka chabunẹ abomunẹ iko kọga chẹ kpọranẹ?
2 If sickness de spread for our area, e fit make-am hard for us to help our brothers. For example, we fit like to visit them, or invite them to come join us chop, but we no go fit because of the sickness wey de spread. You fit still like to help other people, but this one fit hard if people for your family get serious problem. Even with all this one, we still want help our brothers and sisters. And e de make Jehovah happy when we do our best to fit help them. (Prov. 3:27; 19:17) So wetin we fit do to help them?
3. Ẹn̄wu akọchẹ kwef’ujiwe abogijo efu ujeju e-i Desi? (Jerimaya 23:4)
3 Wetin elders go do? If you be elder, make you know brothers and sisters for your congregation well. (Read Jeremiah 23:4.) Sister Desi wey we talk about for the article before this one talk say: “The elders for our field service group de preach with us and join us do other things.” b This one make-am easy for them to fit help Sister Desi for the time of coronavirus wey kill some people for e family.
4. Ẹn̄wu chi k’abogijo neke chabunẹ Desi, ukọ ẹn̄wu la kwefu n̄wu?
4 Sister Desi talk wetin help-am, e say: “Because the elders don already be my friend, e no hard me to tell them how I de feel and the things wey de make me worry.” Wetin elders fit learn from this one? Make wuna de shepherd brothers and sisters for wuna congregation before problem come. Make you be their friend. If you no fit go visit them for their house because sickness de spread, make you look for another way wey you fit talk with them. Sister Desi still talk say: “Sometimes different-different elders de call me or send me text message the same day. The Bible verse wey them read for me really touch me even though say I know them before.”
5. Abu abogijo neke d’ibe teju anẹ kwugbo amọmaye ku ma ma abunẹ ku ma neke che n̄wu ma?
5 One way wey we fit know wetin our brothers and sisters need, na to use sense ask them question wey no go make them feel somehow. (Prov. 20:5) Them get enough food, medicine and other things wey them need? The sickness wey de spread fit make them no get work again, or make them no get money to pay house rent? If government de help people for the area, you fit help them know how to get help from government? Brothers and sisters help Sister Desi get wetin e need. But wetin help Sister Desi pass na the love wey the elders show-am, and the different-different Bible verse wey them use encourage-am. E talk say: “The elders pray with me. Even though say I no fit remember everything wey them talk, I remember how e make me feel. E just be like say Jehovah de use them tell me say, ‘You no dey alone.’ ”—Isa. 41:10, 13.

But Jehovah want make all of us de help and encourage our brothers and sisters. (Gal. 6:10) Even small thing wey we do for person wey de sick, fit really encourage-am. Small pikin fit follow e papa or mama go help congregation member wey need help. Young people fit help brother or sister for congregation go message or do other things for them. Other brothers and sisters for congregation fit cook go give brother or sister wey de sick. When sickness de spread for everywhere, everybody for congregation need encouragement. E good make we spend small time after meeting to talk with brothers and sisters, whether na for Kingdom Hall or na phone we use connect for meeting. Make we no forget say elders still need encouragement. Some brothers and sisters de send elders letter to thank them for their work. This elders dey busy pass before as them de help brothers and sisters when sickness de spread for their area. So make we do our best to “continue [to] de encourage each other and de make each other strong.”—1 Thess. 5:11.

Them still talk say if government say make we run comot from the area, or if we see say the fire go affect us, make we no waste time run comot.” This warning come for the correct time because serious fire start for our area five weeks after the local need. Even after many months, them go still need our love and encouragement from Bible. (Read John 21:15.) Brother Harold na Branch Committee member wey don meet different-different brothers and sisters wey disaster happen to. E talk say: “E de take time for them to recover. And even when they start to recover, they fit no forget their people wey die, something wey really dey important to them wey destroy or how they nearly die for the disaster. When them remember this things, e fit bring the pain come back again. This one no mean say them no get faith, but na just the normal way person de feel when bad thing happen to-am.”

And elders need to help them make sure say them de pray, do personal study or family worship, de go meeting, and preaching. Make elders still encourage papa and mama to help their children make sure say their friendship with Jehovah dey strong because no disaster fit affect this one. Papa and mama, remind your children say Jehovah go always be their Friend and say e always ready to help them. And help them know say them dey part of Jehovah family. And say our brothers and sisters always ready to help them when them get problem.—1 Pet. 2:17.

They fit say make you go de give food to brothers and sisters wey the disaster affect. If where the disaster happen far well-well from where you dey, you fit still help. How? You fit pray for them. (2 Cor. 1:8-11) You fit still contribute to support the work wey Jehovah organization de do to care for the brothers wey e affect. Brothers and sisters for those kind place still de face money problem, de sick and people wey them love fit die. And because them ban our work, elders fit no get the freedom to go visit brothers and sisters and encourage them. Na this kind thing happen to Andrei wey we talk about for the article before this one. One poor sister dey for e field service group. One day, the sister get serious accident. Because of this one, e no fit go work again and them go need to do-am different-different operation. Even though say them ban our work for this country and coronavirus de spread, Jehovah know how things be and e use the brothers and sisters to help this sister.
14. Abu abogijo ad’ujiwe tẹ lefu elọno Jihofa?
14 Wetin elders go do? Andrei pray and do wetin e fit do to help the sister. Wetin Jehovah do? E use brothers and sisters wey get more freedom help the sister. (Heb. 13:16) When them ban our work or de disturb us, abeg make wuna wey be elders share the work. (Jer. 36:5, 6) And wetin dey important pass na to trust Jehovah. E fit help you know wetin you go do to fit help brothers and sisters.
15. Abu aneke gwọnyu udama abo Kraist efu adoli?
15 Wetin other brothers and sisters fit do? When them ban our work, we fit need to reduce the number of brothers and sisters wey de meet together for worship. So e really dey important now pass before make we de do things together with one mind. Make we join hand together fight Satan, no be each other. Make we no be like person wey leave nail begin hammer e finger. When brother or sister offend you, make you forgive-am and make wuna quick settle the matter. (Prov. 19:11; Eph. 4:26) Make you no wait make brother or sister come meet you say e need something before you help-am. (Titus 3:14) The way wey brothers and sisters take help that sister wey we talk about before, help them for their field service group fit near each other more-more. E make them be like family.—Ps. 133:1.

16 For some of the place or country wey plenty of our brothers and sisters dey stay, the government or people wey dey rule, don ban our work or dey disturb them. Them don put some of them for prison because them de serve Jehovah. We fit pray for them and their family. We fit still pray for brothers and sisters as they no de fear to support them even though say police fit arrest them. Them de encourage this brothers wey dey prison, de give them wetin them need and still de defend them for court. c (Read Colossians 4:3, 18.) Always remember say your prayer fit help all this brothers and sisters!—2 Thess. 3:1, 2; 1 Tim. 2:1, 2.
17. Abu ẹneke mọla tanẹ abajọi todu iko adoli?
17 You and your family fit prepare now for wetin wuna go do when them de suffer wuna because wuna de serve Jehovah. (Acts 14:22) No begin think about all the bad things wey them fit do wuna. Make wuna friendship with Jehovah continue to dey strong more-more and help wuna children to still do the same thing. Pray to Jehovah anytime wey you de fear. (Ps. 62:7, 8) As family, make wuna talk about all the reason wey make wuna trust Jehovah. d Just as we don talk before say e go help your children if them know the correct thing to do before disaster happen, e go still good to help them understand now say people fit suffer us because we de serve Jehovah. E go help them get strong mind and dey calm because you don already teach them to trust Jehovah.

18 The peace wey God de give, de help us no de worry-worry. E still de use elders for our congregation care for us. And e give all of us the chance to help each other. Na when we get peace we go prepare for more serious problem wey fit come and even the “great tribulation” wey de come. (Matt. 24:21) When that time come, we need to continue to get peace of mind and help other people do the same thing. After great tribulation, we no go face any problem wey go make us fear again. At last, we go enjoy real peace of mind forever just as Jehovah want make we enjoy-am.—Isa. 26:3, 4.
