1. Abile ka ma kaki Jihofa atene ki tẹmẹru wa?

 JEHOVAH want make we near-am. (Jas. 4:8) E want be our God, our Papa, and our Friend. E de answer our prayer and de help us when things hard for us. And e de use e organization teach us and protect us. But wetin we fit do to be Jehovah tight friend?

2. Abu aneke tẹmẹru Jihofa?

² We go fit be Jehovah tight friend when we de pray to-am, de read Bible, and de think deep about wetin we read. This one go make our love for Jehovah de strong more-more. And that one go make us continue to obey-am and give-am the praise wey e deserve. (Rev. 4:11) As we de know Jehovah more-more, we go trust-am and e organization wey e de use help us.

3. Abu Abulumonẹ lẹ atene ki da wa ru kwugbo Jihofa, ama ẹn̄wu achabunẹ wa ka we tu Jihofa nọ? (Eli Ekọ D’Ọjọ 31:13, 14)

³ When we get problem, Satan de try use-am make life tire us so that we go stop to worship Jehovah. How e de do-am? E de try make the trust wey we get for Jehovah and E organization weak small-small. But we go fit defend ourself when Satan de try attack us. If we get strong faith and trust Jehovah, we no go ever leave-am and e organization.—Read Psalm 31:13, 14.

4. Ẹn̄wu ana choluka oji n̄wu oji ọla-i?

⁴ For this article, we go talk about three problem wey fit come from outside Jehovah organization. And each of the problem fit make our trust for Jehovah and e organization weak. How them fit make us stop to worship Jehovah? And wetin we go do to fit fight against Satan?

5. Abu akanya neke jẹn̄wu wa dejiji efu ẹdo ekono Jihofa kpai ujọ n̄wu?

⁵ Sometimes, we de face serious problem. For example, our family people fit de try stop us make we no worship Jehovah or we fit no get work again. But how this kind problem fit make our trust for Jehovah organization weak and even make us stop to worship Jehovah? When we face problem for long time, e fit make us loose hope and no happy. Satan de like use this kind time make us feel say Jehovah no love us. Satan want make we de think say na Jehovah or E organization de cause our problem. This kind thing happen to some Israel people when them dey Egypt. Them first believe say na Jehovah send Moses and Aaron to free them from Egypt people hand. (Ex. 4:29-31) But when Pharaoh make things bad for them pass as e be before, them blame Moses and Aaron for their problem. Them even talk say: “Wuna don make Pharaoh and e servants hate us more and e just be like say wuna don give them sword make they use-am kill us.” (Ex. 5:19-21) Them blame the people wey God send to help them. That one really bad! If you don de face problem for long time, wetin go help you make your trust for Jehovah and e organization continue to dey strong?

6. Abu ujiwe Habakuk neke chabunẹ wa iko ka defu akanya? (Habakuk 3:17-19)

⁶ Pray and tell Jehovah everything wey dey your mind, and put your hope for-am. Prophet Habakkuk face plenty problem. E get the time wey e begin de doubt if Jehovah still de care about-am. So e pray and tell Jehovah everything wey dey e mind. E talk say: “O Jehovah, how long I go cry make you help me, but you no hear me? . . . Why you de keep quiet when people de suffer?” (Hab. 1:2, 3) Jehovah answer Habakkuk prayer. (Hab. 2:2, 3) Habakkuk start to happy again after e think about how Jehovah save E people. That one make-am dey sure say Jehovah really care about-am and say E go help-am endure any problem. (Read Habakkuk 3:17-19.) Wetin we fit learn from this one? When you de face problem, pray and tell Jehovah how you de feel. And put hope for-am say e go help you. When you do this one, make you know say Jehovah go give you the power wey you need to fit endure. And as you de see how e de help you, your faith go strong more-more.

7. Abu abo Shirley jẹn̄wu ẹdọ ekono n̄wu ugbo Jihofa ki wanẹ, ẹn̄wu la chabunẹ n̄wu?

⁷ Continue to do things wey go make your friendship with Jehovah strong. See how this one help sister Shirley for Papua New Guinea, when e face problem. b E family poor and sometimes e de hard them to get food chop. One of e relative try to make e trust for Jehovah weak. E ask sister Shirley say: “You talk say holy spirit de help wuna, but where the help now? Your family still poor. You just de waste your time de go preach.” Shirley talk say: “I ask myself say: ‘God de really care about my family?’ So I pray at once and tell Jehovah everything wey dey my mind. I continue to read Bible and our publications, and I no stop to preach and go meeting.” Small time, e dey clear to sister Shirley say Jehovah de care for e family. E family continue to get food chop and de happy. Shirley talk say:  “I feel-am say Jehovah answer my prayer.” (1 Tim. 6:6-8) If you continue to do things wey go make your friendship with Jehovah strong, you no go allow any problem or doubt make you stop to de worship Jehovah.

8. Ẹn̄wu neke chi kẹrẹbọ am’ẹnutọgba e-i ujọ abo Jihofa?

⁸ People wey dey against our work fit use fake news and social network talk lie about the brothers wey de direct us for Jehovah organization. (Ps. 31:13) This kind thing don make them arrest some of our brothers and carry them go court say them be criminals. Na so e happen to Christians for apostle time. For example, people lie about apostle Paul, and arrest-am. Wetin the brothers do when the people arrest Paul?

9. Abu uchẹ ka efu amomaye che ẹgba ki Pọl defu unyi uga?

⁹ When apostle Paul dey prison for Rome, some brothers stop to support-am. (2 Tim. 1:8, 15) Why? Them de shame for Paul because people de see-am as criminal? (2 Tim. 2:8, 9) Or them de fear say people fit start to suffer them because them be Christian? No matter wetin go don make them do like that, just think about how Paul go don feel. E don risk e life and suffer many things because of them. (Acts 20:18-21; 2 Cor. 1:8) Make we no ever be like the brothers wey no gree help Paul when e need help. Wetin we need to remember when people de suffer the brothers wey de direct us for Jehovah organization?

10. Ẹn̄wu chukpẹ ka rewa ichẹn̄wu ku ma ad’ọbata n̄wu am’ẹnutọgba, ẹn̄wu la chi?

¹⁰ Remember why them de suffer us, and who de cause-am. Second Timothy 3:12 talk say: “They go still suffer anybody wey want live e life as God want and follow Christ Jesus.” So make e no surprise us say na brothers wey de direct us for Jehovah organization, Satan de face pass. The reason why  e de do like that na because e want make the brothers stop to worship Jehovah and make us fear.—1 Pet. 5:8.

11. Ẹn̄wu akọchẹ kwef’ujiwe Onesiforus? (2 Timoti 1:16-18)

¹¹ Continue to support your brothers and no ever leave them. (Read 2 Timothy 1:16-18.) When Paul dey prison, one brother wey e name na Onesiphorus help-am, e no do like other brothers wey no help Paul. “E no shame because they chain [Paul] for prison.” But e go look for Paul, and when e see-am, e try help-am get the things wey e need. So, Onesiphorus risk e life to help Paul. Wetin we fit learn from this one? Make we no fear to help our brothers wey people de suffer because of their faith. But make we stand for them, and help them when them need help. (Prov. 17:17) Them really need our love and help.

12. Ẹn̄wu akọchẹ kwugbo amọmaye wa ojanẹ Russia?

¹² Think about how our brothers and sisters for Russia de help our dear brothers for prison. When them de handle our brothers case for court, plenty brothers and sisters de go the court to show say they support the brothers. Wetin we fit learn from this one? When people lie about, arrest, or suffer the brothers wey de direct us for Jehovah organization, make we no allow that one make us fear. But make we de pray for them, help their family, and look for other ways to show say we de support them.—Acts 12:5; 2 Cor. 1:10, 11.

13. Abu anyinacha neke jẹn̄wu ukẹdọno wa ugbo Jihofa kpai ujọ n̄wu ki wanẹ?

¹³ Our family people wey no de worship Jehovah, our workmate, or schoolmate fit talk bad about us because of our preaching work or because we de follow Jehovah law. (1 Pet. 4:4) They fit talk say: “I like you o, but your religion no de allow person do as e like and na old school.” Some people fit even talk say the way we de handle disfellowship people, no good. Them fit say: “How you go talk say you get love when you no de do anything with person wey wuna disfellowship?” This kind talk fit make us start to doubt whether the laws wey Jehovah give us good. We fit even start to ask ourself say: ‘Wetin Jehovah want make I do no too much? E organization really want make we enjoy life?’ If this kind thing de worry you for mind, wetin go help you continue to hold Jehovah and e organization tight?

14. Ẹn̄wu dukpẹ ka che ẹgba k’amonẹ any’uwa anyinacha todu k’ale b’ọkpakpa e-i Jihofa? (Eli Ekọ D’Ọjọ 119:50-52)

¹⁴ Make up your mind to always follow Jehovah law. Job no shame to follow Jehovah law even though say people talk bad about-am. One man wey call e self Job friend even try to make Job believe say God no care if Job follow E law or e no follow-am. (Job 4:17, 18; 22:3) But Job no gree believe-am. E know say to follow Jehovah law na the correct thing to do, and e really make up e mind to follow-am. E no allow other people make-am stop to worship Jehovah. (Job 27:5, 6) Wetin we fit learn from this one? No let the bad thing wey people de talk make you doubt Jehovah law. Think about wetin don happen to you. You fit don see-am many times say life de better for you when you follow Jehovah law. So make up your mind say you go always support this organization wey de follow Jehovah law. If we do like that, nothing wey anybody talk  go ever make us stop to worship Jehovah.—Read Psalm 119:50-52.

15. Anyinacha ẹn̄wu ma nyi Brizit?

¹⁵ Make we talk about one sister for India wey e name na Brizit and e husband no de worship Jehovah. E family people talk bad about-am because e de worship Jehovah. Sister Brizit baptize for 1997, and small time after e baptize, they sack e husband for work. This one make the husband decide say them go pack go de stay with e papa and mama wey dey another city. This one go make Brizit face more problem. Since e husband no get work again, Brizit go need to work full-time to fit support the family. Another thing be say the congregation wey near them pass dey around 350 kilometers (220 mi) from their house. Even with all this problem, e husband family still dey against-am because e de worship Jehovah. The husband family suffer Brizit sotey, them need to pack again go another place. Then small time, e husband die. Later, cancer kill one of e pikin wey dey 12 years. The one wey bad pass be say even Brizit family people blame-am for all the things wey happen to-am. Them talk say if to say e no become Jehovah Witness, all those bad things for no happen to-am. Even with all this one, Brizit continue to trust Jehovah and hold e organization tight.

16. Abu Jihofa dẹnyọ n̄wu Brizit todu ki gwọnyu Jihofa kpai ujọ n̄wu?

¹⁶ Since where Brizit de stay far from any Kingdom Hall, one circuit overseer advice-am say make e de preach for e area, and de do meeting for e house. Sister Brizit first feel say e no go ever fit do-am. But later, e do wetin the circuit overseer tell-am. E preach to people for e area, do meeting for e house, and always do family worship with e children. Wetin come happen? Brizit get plenty Bible students and many of them baptize. Sister Brizit start to pioneer for 2005. Jehovah bless sister Brizit as e continue to trust Jehovah and hold E organization tight. E children de worship Jehovah  well, and na two congregation dey the area now! So Brizit believe say na Jehovah give-am the power to fit endure all the things wey happen to-am and the bad things wey e family people talk about-am.

17. Ẹn̄wu amọla tanẹ ka che?

¹⁷ Satan want make we believe say Jehovah no de care for us when we de get problem and say to de worship Jehovah go make life hard for us. People de talk bad things about the brothers wey de direct us for Jehovah organization, suffer them, or even put them for prison. And when this one happen, Satan want make we de fear. Satan still de use people talk bad about us so that we go stop to follow Jehovah law and leave E organization. But we know all the wicked way wey e de use, and e no go ever catch us. (2 Cor. 2:11) Make up your mind say you no go ever fall for Satan trap and say you go continue to hold Jehovah and E organization tight. Remember say Jehovah no go ever leave you. (Ps. 28:7) So, no allow anything make you stop to worship Jehovah!—Rom. 8:35-39.

18. Ẹn̄wu akọla oji n̄wu ef’oji ọla ki rọn’e-i?

¹⁸ For this article we don talk about problems wey fit come from outside Jehovah organization. But things fit still happen for inside Jehovah organization wey fit test our trust for Jehovah and e organization. How we go fit handle this kind problem? We go talk about-am for the next article.
