1. Ẹn̄wu adukpẹ eneju wn̄, ẹn̄wu la ch’ukibeno wa?

 FOR this last days, plenty people dey against our preaching work. And e dey important make we get-am for mind say this kind thing go de happen more-more as time de go. (Dan. 11:44; 2 Tim. 3:12; Rev. 16:21) Even with this one, we dey sure say Jehovah go always help us. Why? Because Jehovah de always help e servants fit do the work wey e give them, no matter how the work hard reach. Make we use prophet Ezekiel as example. We go talk about some things wey happen to-am when Jehovah send-am go preach to Jew people for Babylon.

2. Abu Jihofa kọla lugbo abo ki Izikiẹl j’uchẹnyo wn̄, en̄wu ala acholuka n̄wu oji ọla-i? (Izikiẹl 2:3-6)

² Which kind people prophet Ezekiel preach to? Jehovah talk say the people dey stubborn, no de feel for people and they no de follow law. Them bad like chukwu-chukwu and wicked like scorpion. Na this one make Jehovah tell Ezekiel plenty times say: “Make you no fear”! (Read Ezekiel 2:3-6.) So wetin help Ezekiel fit succeed for e preaching work? ³ Jehovah tell Ezekiel say: “I de send you.” (Ezek. 2:3, 4) This word wey Jehovah tell Ezekiel, fit don make e faith strong. Why? Because Ezekiel fit don remember when Jehovah tell Moses and Isaiah the same thing when E choose them to be E prophet. (Ex. 3:10; Isa. 6:8) Ezekiel still know how Jehovah help the two prophet succeed for their work even though e really hard them. So as Jehovah tell Ezekiel two times say: “I de send you,” e give Ezekiel mind say Jehovah go really help-am. Even self, Ezekiel write plenty times say: “Jehovah tell me.” (Ezek. 3:16) And plenty times, e write say: “Jehovah talk to me again.” (Ezek. 6:1) True-true, e really dey clear to Ezekiel say na Jehovah send-am. For example, Jehovah tell Isaac, Jacob, and Jeremiah, say: “I dey with you.”—Gen. 26:24; 28:15; Jer. 1:8.

⁵ Just like Ezekiel, we too de get the power to continue to do the preaching work because we know say na Jehovah send us. E give us special honor as e make us e “Witness.” (Isa. 43:10) This one na really special favor! Just as Jehovah tell Ezekiel say: “Make you no fear,” na so e still de tell us say: “Make wuna no fear.” Why we no suppose fear people wey dey against our preaching work? Because, just like Ezekiel, na Jehovah send us and E de support us.—Read Isaiah 44:8.

6. (a) Abu Jihofa ad’ukibeno n̄wu wa ka ki i-achabunẹ wa? (b) Efu ẹn̄wu awa an’ugbẹdọ kpai ukpahiu kwo?

⁶ Jehovah don promise us say e go support us. Before Jehovah choose us as e Witness, e first talk say: ‘When you pass inside water I go dey with you; and when you pass inside river, e no go cover you. When you waka pass inside fire, e no go burn you, and e no go wound you.’ (Isa. 43:2) Sometimes when we de preach, we de face problem wey be like river and temptation wey be like fire. Even with this one, Jehovah de help us make we fit continue to preach. (Isa. 41:13) Just as e happen for the time of prophet Ezekiel, plenty people for this our time no de gree listen to our message. But this one no mean say we don fail for our preaching work. One thing wey de give us power and comfort us na as we know say Jehovah de happy with us as we no tire to do this work wey e give us. Apostle Paul write say: ‘God go bless each person for the way e do e own work.’ (1 Cor. 3:8; 4:1, 2) One sister wey don pioneer for plenty years talk say: “E de make me happy to know say Jehovah de bless us for this work.”

7. Ẹn̄wu ch’ile ki Izikiẹl ch’anẹ iko du ki kpibe lugbo anẹ ego lẹ? (G’ifoto ki d’ẹpa ejodudu.)

⁷ Prophet Ezekiel see say God holy spirit really get power. For one vision, e see how Jehovah de use E holy spirit de control the powerful angels and the big-big wheel of the chariot wey e see for heaven. (Ezek. 1:20, 21) When Ezekiel see the vision, wetin e do? E write say: “When I see-am, I fall face ground.” Wetin e see really surprise-am sotey e fall for ground. (Ezek. 1:28) Anytime wey Ezekiel think about the vision, e fit don make e faith strong say Jehovah go fit use E holy spirit help-am succeed for the work wey E give-am.

8-9. (a) Ẹn̄wu ukọ ki Jihofa du n̄wu Izikiẹl jẹnwu ki che? (b) Abu Jihofa d’ukpahiu n̄wu Izikiẹl nyọgba efu ukọlọ uchẹnyo ejẹ r’amẹnugbitiẹrẹ Israẹl?

⁸ Jehovah tell Ezekiel say: “Son of man, stand up make I talk to you.” That command and God holy spirit give Ezekiel the power wey e need to fit stand up. Ezekiel write say: “E spirit enter me and make me stand up.” (Ezek. 2:1, 2) Later and till the end of e preaching work, Jehovah use e holy spirit direct and help Ezekiel. (Ezek. 3:22; 8:1; 33:22; 37:1; 40:1) Jehovah use e holy spirit give Ezekiel power to fit do the work wey E give-am, wey be to preach to people wey ‘stubborn and wey no get feeling.’ (Ezek. 3:7) Jehovah tell Ezekiel say: “I don make your face strong like their face, and your forehead strong like their forehead.  I don make your forehead strong like diamond and strong pass rock. Make you no fear them, or let their face threaten you.” (Ezek. 3:8, 9) Jehovah de use this one tell Ezekiel say: ‘Make you no allow their strong head make you tire. I go make you strong.’

10. Ẹn̄wu achabunẹ wa ka neke takoya, ẹn̄wu la chi?

¹⁰ Wetin go help us fit do our preaching work well? To answer that question, think about wetin happen to Ezekiel. Before e start e preaching work, God spirit give-am the power wey e need. Just as e be for Ezekiel, we go fit do the preaching work today only with the help of God spirit. Why? Because Satan de fight against us to make sure say this preaching work stop. 11. Ẹn̄wu afu Ọjo ache n̄wu wa, abu ana gb’afu n̄wu le?

¹¹ Which other thing we fit learn when we think about how Jehovah give Ezekiel the  power wey e need to fit preach? We fit learn say God fit use e holy spirit help us manage any problem wey we fit get for our preaching work. (2 Cor. 4:7-9) So, wetin we go do so that we go continue to receive holy spirit? We need to always pray for-am and get faith say Jehovah go answer our prayer. Jesus tell e disciples say make they “continue to ask, . . . continue to find-am . . . continue to de knock.” Then Jehovah “go give holy spirit to people wey de beg for-am.”—Luke 11:9, 13; Acts 1:14; 2:4.

12. Alu ki dẹ efu Izikiẹl 2:9–3:3, ugbo ibuku lẹ kwo, ẹn̄wu la d’efu n̄wu?

¹² God holy spirit give Ezekiel the mind and power wey e need to fit preach. But e no end for there, the word of God still make Ezekiel faith strong. For vision, Ezekiel see hand wey hold one scroll. (Read Ezekiel 2:9–3:3.) Where the scroll come from? Which message dey the scroll? How the scroll make Ezekiel faith strong? Make we talk about-am. The scroll come from the throne of God. E fit be say Jehovah give the scroll to one of the angels wey Ezekiel see before, make e give-am to Ezekiel. (Ezek. 1:8; 10:7, 20) Na message from God dey the scroll. The message na the plenty message about the judgment from Jehovah wey Ezekiel go tell the stubborn people of Israel wey de stay near river Chebar. (Ezek. 2:7) And na the front and back of the scroll the message dey.

13. Ẹn̄wu Jihofa ka n̄wu Izikiẹl ki che kpai ibuku lẹ, ẹn̄wu la chi kia rinyọ?

¹³ Jehovah tell prophet Ezekiel say make e chop the scroll, belleful. Ezekiel obey and chop the scroll finish. Wetin this part of the vision mean? 14. Ẹn̄wu chatẹko Izikiẹl taki mọla ukọlọ n̄wu??

¹⁴ After, Jehovah tell Ezekiel say: “Listen to all the things wey I de tell you and put them for your heart.” (Ezek. 3:10) Wetin Jehovah de use this one tell Ezekiel be say, make e remember the things wey dey the scroll and take time think about-am. This one make Ezekiel faith strong more-more, and still help-am sabi the message wey e want preach to the people. (Ezek. 3:11) When Ezekiel don really understand and believe the message wey dey the scroll, na that time e ready to start the preaching work. 15. Ka n’ẹdọ ejẹ, ẹn̄wu dukpẹ ka ‘ ‘gba t’ef ẹdọ’ ’?

¹⁵ For us to fit endure as we de preach, we must continue to allow the word of God make our faith strong. We need to put all the things wey Jehovah de tell us for mind. For this our time, na Bible Jehovah de use talk to us. So how we fit make sure say the Bible continue to affect every part of our life?

16. Ẹn̄wu dukpẹ ka che kpai ọla Ọjọ, abu ala neke gba t’ef ẹdọ?

 ¹⁶ When we chop food and our body digest-am, e de make us strong more-more. Na so e still be when we study Bible and think deep about wetin we study, e go make our faith strong more-more. E dey important make we always remember the lesson wey we learn about the scroll. Jehovah want make we chop e Word belleful. This one mean say we go understand Bible well. We de do this one when we de pray, read Bible, and think deep about wetin we read. The first thing wey we need to do na to pray to make our heart ready for wetin we want learn. Then we go read the Bible. The next thing na to stop, and think deep about wetin we don read. Wetin go happen? The more we de think deep about wetin we learn from Bible, the more we go de understand wetin Bible de teach and the more e go de make our faith strong.

17. Ẹn̄wu chi ki chẹnwu ogbogaga ka kpibe oji ẹn̄wu ka gba kwefu Baibul?

¹⁷ Why e dey important to read Bible and think deep about wetin we read? E dey important because e go help us get the power or mind wey we need to fit preach now. E go still help us get the mind to fit preach the strong judgment message wey we go preach for future. Another thing be say, when we de think deep about the fine-fine character wey Jehovah get, our friendship with-am go de strong more-more. When we do this one, we go get peace of mind and really happy.—Ps. 119:103.

18. Otitala n̄wu, ẹn̄wu abo ka takoya n̄wu a ma otila, ẹn̄wu la chi?

¹⁸ Na true say we no be prophet like Ezekiel. But we don make up our mind to continue to preach the word of God, until God say the work don finish. When God want destroy this wicked world, the people wey we preach to no go get any reason to talk say nobody warn them or say God forget them. (Ezek. 3:19; 18:23) Instead, e go dey clear to them say the message wey we preach, na from God.

19. Ẹn̄wu ad’ukpahiu n̄wu wa ka chukọlọ akoya?

¹⁹ Wetin go give us the power to succeed for our preaching work? Na the same three things wey help Ezekiel succeed. We go continue to de preach because (1) we know say na Jehovah send us, (2) e de use e holy spirit give us power, and (3) the Word of God de make our faith strong. As Jehovah de help us, we de get the power to fit continue to preach and “endure reach the end.”—Matt. 24:13.
