10  After this thing dem, the Lord choose 70 people and send them two by two to all the city dem and the place dem where he wor coming to go later on. 2  Then he tell them say: “Yes, we get plenty thing dem to harvest, but the workers not plenty. So beg the master for the harvest to send more workers on his farm to harvest. 3  So yor go! But yor be careful, I sending yor like sheep among wolves. 4  Don’t carry money bag, food bag or sandal, and don’t speak to anybody on the road. 5  Any house yor enter, the first thing yor must say that: ‘Let peace be with everybody that in this house.’ 6  And if somebody there like peace, they will benefit from your visit. But if they not like peace, they will not benefit. 7  Stay in the house where you find somebody that like peace, and eat and drink the thing dem they give you because they suppose to give food to the person who can work. Don’t leave that house and start looking for different place to stay. 8  “Also, any city you enter and the people welcome you, eat what they give you. 9  And heal the sick people that in that house, and tell them say: ‘God Kingdom already near.’ 10  But any city you enter and the people not welcome you, go in the main street and say: 11  ‘We wipe even the dust that get on our foot from yor city. But yor must know that God Kingdom near.’ 12  I tell yor that when Judgement Day come, it will be more easy for Sod′om than for that city. 13  “People in Cho·ra′zin! Yor will suffer. Yor who in Beth·sa′i·da! Yor will suffer, because if the miracles that happen in yor city dem wor coming happen in Tyre and Si′don, they wor coming to repent ever since, and wear sackcloth and they wor coming to sit down in ashes. 14  So when Judgement Day come, it will be more easy for Tyre and Si′don than for yor. 15  And you Ca·per′na·um, you think they will lift you up in heaven? That in the Grave* you will go! 16  “Anybody who listen to you they listen to me. And anybody who not listen to you they not listen to me. Also, anybody who not accept me they not accept the person who send me.” 17  The 70 disciple dem wor happy when they came back, and they say: “Lord, even the demon dem can obey us when we use your name.” 18  When he hear this one, he tell them say: “I see Satan already falling fast from heaven just like lightning. 19  I na give yor the power to mash snakes and scorpions with your foot, and the strength to overcome yor enemy dem, and nothing bad will happen to yor. 20  But yor must not be happy because the demon dem obey yor, but yor must be happy because God na write yor name in heaven.” 21  At that time the holy spirit really made him happy, and he say: “My Father, you who made the heaven and the earth, I praise you in front of everybody. And that because you take your time to hide this thing dem from people who clever and know book, and show them to people who humble like small children. Yes, O Father, because that how you want it to be. 22  My Father na put everything in my hand. Nobody know the Son but only the Father, and nobody know the Father but only the Son, and people can’t know the Father except the Son willing to teach them about him.” 23  Then he tell the disciple dem when they wor by theirself: “The people who seeing the thing dem yor seeing will be happy. 24  Because to tell yor the truth, plenty prophets and kings really wanted to see the thing dem yor seeing, but they wor not able to see them, and to hear the thing dem yor hearing, but they wor not able to hear them.” 25  But see! one man who really knew the Law stand up to test him and say: “Teacher, wetin I must do to get everlasting life?” 26  Jesus tell him say: “Wetin they write in the Law? How you understand it?” 27  The man tell him say: “‘You must love Jehovah* your God with your whole heart, with your whole life,* with your whole strength, and with your whole mind’ and ‘you must love your neighbors just like yourself.’” 28  Jesus tell him say: “Your answer correct, continue doing it and you will get life.” 29  But the man wanted to show that he wor righteous, so he tell Jesus say: “That who really my neighbor?” 30  Jesus tell him say: “One man wor coming from Jerusalem and going down to Jer′i·cho and criminal dem attack him. They take off his clothes and beat him, and small more he wor coming die. Then they leave him there. 31  And at that time one priest wor coming from Jerusalem and walking on the road, but when he saw him, he pass on the other side. 32  That the same way one Levite came and saw him, and he pass on the other side. 33  But one man from Sa·mar′ia wor traveling on that road and he bother with him. When he saw the man, he wor feeling sorry for him. 34  So he went to him and put oil and wine on his sores and put bandage on them. Then he put him on top his animal and carry him to the house where people who traveling can stay, and take care of him. 35  The next day he give two de·nar′i·i to the owner, and tell him say: ‘Take care of him, and anything you spend beside this one, I will give it to you when I come back.’ 36  Among this three people dem, which one you think made hisself neighbor to the man who the criminal dem attack?” 37  The man say: “That the one who feel sorry for him and help him.” Then Jesus tell him say: “Go and do the same thing yourself.” 38  When they left from there, they went to one village. In that village, one woman name Martha welcome him in her house. 39  She wor also having one sister they call Mary, who sit down in front of Jesus and continue listening to what he wor saying. 40  But Martha wor not able to pay attention because she wor busy doing plenty things. So she came to Jesus and tell him say: “Lord, you not see that my sister na leave me to do all this work dem by myself? Tell her to come help me.” 41  Then the Lord tell her say: “Martha, Martha, you worrying and busy doing plenty thing dem. 42  We not need plenty thing dem. Maybe just one thing alright. But Mary choose the best part, and nobody will take it from her.”
