  • Salt that not get taste again (34, 35)

14  One other time on the Sabbath day, he went to eat in one of the leaders for the Pharisees house. And they wor really looking at him to see what he will do. 2  And one man wor in front of him. The man wor having one sickness that make his body to get swell up.* 3  So Jesus ask the Pharisee dem and the people who knew the Law good-good: “It good to heal somebody on the Sabbath day or it not good?” 4  But they not say anything. So he hold the man hand and heal him. Then he tell the man to go. 5  Then he tell them say: “On the Sabbath day, if your cow or your son fall down in the well, which one of yor will not take him from there right away?” 6  But they wor not able to say anything to him. 7  When he saw how the people they invite wor choosing the best seats for theirself, he give them one example. He tell them say: 8  “When somebody invite you for wedding party, don’t sit down to the best seat. Maybe they invite somebody to that party who important more than you. 9  Then the person who invite two of yor will come and tell you say, ‘Let this man sit down in your seat.’ Then you will be shame and move from there to go sit down in the seat that behind. 10  But when they invite you, go sit down to the seat that behind. Then when the man who invite you come, he will tell you say, ‘My friend, go sit down to the best seat.’ Then all the other people who he invite will respect you. 11  Because anybody who put theirself up, God will bring him down, but anybody who bring theirself down, God will put him up.” 12  Then he tell the man who invite him say: “When you inviting people to come eat with you in the evening, you must not call your friend dem, your brother dem, your relative dem or your neighbor dem that rich. Because if you do it, time will come they will also call you to their house to eat and it will be like they paying you back. 13  But when you having party, you must invite the poor people, the cripple people, and the blind people, 14  and you will be happy, because they not get anything to pay you back. And God will bless you when he bringing the righteous people back to life.” 15  When one of the people who he invite hear this one, he tell him say: “The person who eat* in God Kingdom will be happy.” 16  So Jesus tell him say: “One man wor having big party in the evening, and he call plenty people. 17  When the time reach for the party to start, he send his slave to call the people dem he invite and tell them say, ‘Yor come, because everything ready.’ 18  But all of them started giving excuse. The first one tell him say, ‘I buy one land and I need to go see it, I hold your foot, I will not be able to come.’ 19  Then the other one say, ‘I buy ten cow and I going look at them. I hold your foot, I will not be able to come.’ 20  Still the other one say, ‘I just got marry, and because of that I not able to come.’ 21  So the slave came back and tell his master all this thing dem. Then the master got vex and tell the slave say, ‘Go quick-quick on the main street dem and the small-small road dem that in the city, and tell the poor people, the cripple people and the blind people to come.’ 22  When the slave came back he say, ‘Master, I finish do the thing you say I must do, but we still get space.’ 23  So the master tell the slave say, ‘Go to the other road dem that outside the city and convince the other people dem to come, and full up this house. 24  Because I tell yor, that none of the people I invite first will taste the food I fix for the evening party.’” 25  Then plenty people wor traveling with him, and he turn around and tell them say: 26  “If anybody want be my disciple, he must love me more than his pa, his ma, his wife, his children, his brother and sister dem, and even his own life.* 27  If anybody want be my disciple, he must carry his torture stake* and follow me. If he not do it, he can’t be my disciple. 28  For example, which one of yor will want build big house and he will not sit down first to check how much he will spend to see whether he get enough money to finish it? 29  Because if he not do it, he will start the foundation but he will not be able to finish it. And all the people who looking at his work will start laughing at him. 30  They will say: ‘This man start building this house but he wor not able to finish it.’ 31  Or if the king that get 10,000 soldiers want go fight another king that get 20,000 soldiers, ehn he will sit down first and ask other people for advice to see if he can win? 32  If he know say he will not win, then while that other king still far off, he will send people to him so they can make peace. 33  That the same way, yor must know that if anybody can’t leave the thing dem that he get behind, he can’t be my disciple. 34  “To talk the true, salt good. But if the salt not tasting like salt again, wetin you will season it with? 35  It will not get any use when yor spread it on the ground or when yor use it for fertilizer. People can throw it away. Let the person who want listen, listen good-good.”
