The Thing Dem That Luke Write 2:1-52

2  That time Caesar Au·gus′tus give the order for everybody he wor ruling over* to register. 2  (This first registration happen the time Qui·rin′i·us wor governor for Syria.) 3  And everybody went to their own city to register. 4  Joseph also travel from the city they call Naz′a·reth that in Gal′i·lee, and he went to David city that they call Beth′le·hem in Ju·de′a, because he wor from David family line. 5  He and his wife Mary went there to register. The time for her to deliver wor not far again. 6  When they wor there, the time reach for her to deliver. 7  And she born boy child, and he wor her first child. She wrap him in cloth and lay him down to the place they can feed the animal dem, because no room wor empty to the place stranger dem can sleep. 8  In that same area, some shepherd dem wor living outside and taking care of their sheep dem in the night. 9  Right away, Jehovah* angel appear to them and the place they wor standing got bright because of Jehovah* glory, and they got scare bad way. 10  But the angel tell them say: “Yor must not be scare, because I come give yor good news that will make everybody really happy. 11  Today in David city, they born the person who will save yor. He Christ the Lord. 12  And this sign will help yor to know him: “Yor will see one baby wrap in cloth, laying down to the place they can feed the animal dem.” 13  Right away plenty angels came and join this angel and they start praising God and saying: 14  “Praise God who in heaven, and let the people dem on earth who God happy with get peace.” 15  So when the angel dem went back to heaven, the shepherd dem started telling each other say: “Let go to Beth′le·hem now-now and see wetin na happen, the thing dem that Jehovah* na tell us about.” 16  So they went quick-quick and saw Mary and Joseph, and the young baby wor laying down to the place they can feed the animal dem. 17  When they saw this one, they started telling people the thing the angel tell them about the child. 18  And all the people who hear what the shepherd dem say wor really surprise. 19  But Mary wor keeping all this thing dem in her heart. And she think good-good about what they mean. 20  When the shepherd dem wor going back, they wor telling God thank you and praising him for all the thing dem they na hear and see, just how God tell them. 21  On the eight day, when the time reach for them to circumcise the child, they name him Jesus. That the name the angel give before his ma got pregnant with him. 22  When the time reach to make them clean just how Moses Law say it, they carry their son to Jerusalem to show him to Jehovah.* 23  That just how they write it in Jehovah Law. It say: “All the firstborn boy children must be holy to Jehovah.”* 24  And they give the sacrifice that Jehovah* Law talk about: “Two turtledoves or two small pigeons.” 25  And one man name Sim′e·on wor in Jerusalem. This man wor righteous and faithful. He wor waiting for the time God will help Israel, and holy spirit wor guiding him. 26  Also, God use holy spirit to tell him that he will not die until he see the Christ that Jehovah* send. 27  The spirit direct him to come to the temple. Then Mary and Joseph came with baby Jesus to the temple to do what the Law say. 28  He hold the child in his arms and praise God and say: 29  “O Lord, you who ruling over everything, now you letting your slave to die in peace just what you say wor going to happen. 30  Because I na see the person you will use to save people. 31  The person who you send for everybody to see. 32  That he the light that will move darkness from the other nations and bring glory to your people Israel.” 33  And the child ma and pa continue thinking about the things Sim′e·on wor saying about the child. 34  Then Sim′e·on bless them and tell Mary the child ma say: “This child will make plenty people in Israel to fall down or to stand up, and he will be sign for plenty people to talk against. 35  Because of him the thing dem that in plenty people heart will come out, but for you Mary, you will suffer from grief and be sorrowful.” 36  One woman name Anna use to prophesy. Her pa name wor Phan′u·el, who wor from Ash′er tribe. This woman wor really old, and she live with her husband for seven years after they got marry. 37  She wor widow and she wor 84 years old now. She wor always in the temple worshipping God day and night, fasting and praying with her whole heart. 38  That same time, she came near them and started telling God thank you and talking about the child to all the people who wor waiting for Jerusalem to be save. 39  So when they* finish doing all the thing dem that Jehovah* Law say, they went back to their own city Naz′a·reth that in Gal′i·lee. 40  And the young child continue to grow and get strong, and he continue getting wise. And God wor always happy with him. 41  Every year, his ma and pa always use to go to Jerusalem to celebrate the Passover. 42  When he wor 12 years old, they went to Jerusalem for the festival just how they always use to do. 43  When the festival finish, and they wor going back home, Jesus stay behind in Jerusalem and his parents not notice it. 44  They wor thinking that he among the people who wor traveling with them. After they travel for one whole day, they started looking for him among their relatives and friend dem. 45  But when they not find him, they went back to Jerusalem and they take their own time to look for him. 46  After three days they find him in the temple. He wor sitting down with the teacher dem, listening to them and asking them questions. 47  But all the people who wor listening to him wor really surprise when they saw how he understand things and the answers he give. 48  When his parents saw him there, they wor really surprise, and his ma tell him say: “My child, why you treat us like this? Your pa and myself really been looking for you all over.” 49  But he ask them: “Why yor wor looking for me? Yor not know that I suppose to be in my Pa house?” 50  But they not understand what he wor telling them. 51  Then he follow them and went to Naz′a·reth, and he continue to obey them. His ma also continue to keep all this thing dem in her heart. 52  And Jesus continue growing and getting wise, and God and the people wor happy with him.
