23 So plenty people got up and carry Jesus to Pilate.

3 Then Pilate ask him: “That you the King for the Jews?” Jesus say: “The thing you saying that true.”
4 Then Pilate tell the chief priests and the people dem say: “I not see any bad thing this man do.”
5 But still they continue to say: “The thing this man teaching the people from Gal′i·lee and all over Ju·de′a, and even here na cause plenty problems.”
6 When Pilate hear this one, he ask whether Jesus wor from Gal′i·lee.
7 After he find out that Jesus wor from the place that Herod wor ruling, he send Jesus to Herod who wor in Jerusalem at that time.
8 When Herod saw Jesus, he wor really happy. For some time now, he wanted to see Jesus because he been hearing plenty thing dem about him. And he wanted for Jesus to perform miracle in front of him.
9 So he started asking him plenty questions, but Jesus not answer him.
10 But the chief priests and the scribes wor vex and they continue standing and accusing him.
11 Then Herod and his soldier dem not show respect to him, and they make fun out of him by putting fine clothes on him and sending him back to Pilate.
12 That same day Herod and Pilate got friendly, because before that time they wor enemies.
13 Then Pilate call the chief priests, the leaders, and the people dem together.
14 He tell them say: “Yor bring this man to me and say that he making the people to go against the government. But see! I ask him some question dem in front of yor, but I not see any of the bad thing dem yor say he do.
15 Even Herod not see anything because he send him back to us, and see! he not do anything bad for him to die.

21 Then they started shouting and they say: “Kill him on the stake! Kill him on the stake!”
22 For the third time he tell them say: “Why? What kindna bad thing this man do? I not see any reason for him to die, so I will flog him and free him.”
23 When they hear this one, they continue asking with loud voice for them to kill him on the stake. And they continue shouting until Pilate agree to them.
24 So Pilate decide to do the thing they wor asking for.
25 He free the man who they wor asking for, the man who they put in jail for helping the people to go against the government and for killing. But he give Jesus to them to do what they wanted to do.
26 When they wor carrying him, they stop one man who name wor Simon from Cy·re′ne. He wor coming from the interior part of the country, and they order him to carry the torture stake* behind Jesus.
27 Plenty people wor following him. Some of them wor women who continue to really feel sorry for him and cry for him.
28 Jesus turn around to the women dem and say: “Women from Jerusalem, yor stop crying for me. But yor cry for yourself and for your children dem.
29 Because time will come and people will say, ‘The women dem who can’t born will be happy. The women dem who not born children and the women dem who not give their children taytay will be happy!’
30 Then they will start telling the mountain dem say, ‘Cover us!’ and they will tell the hill dem say, ‘Hide us!’
31 If they do this thing dem the time the tree still fresh, then wetin they will do when the tree die?”
32 They also carry two other men dem who wor criminals to kill them with him.
33 And when they reach to the place they call Skull, they nail him on the stake near the criminal dem, one person on his right hand side and the other person his left hand side.
34 But Jesus say: “Father, forgive them, because they not know what they doing.” They also throw something that look like dice* to know who will take which part of his clothes.
35 The people dem wor standing looking at them. But the ruler dem wor playing fun out of him and they say: “He save other people, so let him save hisself if that he the Christ who God send and who God choose.”
36 Even the soldier dem wor playing fun out of him. They came to him and give him sour wine.
37 And they wor saying: “If that you the King for the Jews, then save yourself now.”
38 They also write something and put it over his head. It say: “That the King for the Jews here.”
39 Then one of the criminal dem that wor hanging side him started cussing him, he say: “Ehn you say you the Christ? Then save yourself and save us too!”
40 The other criminal give him strong counsel and say: “You not get any respect* for God the way you and this man getting the same punishment?
