7  When he finish telling the people this thing dem, he enter Ca·per′na·um. 2  One army officer wor having slave who he really love. The slave wor sick bad way and small more he wor coming die. 3  When he hear about Jesus, he send some men dem who wor elders for the Jews to tell him to come and heal his slave. 4  They came to Jesus and started begging him with their whole heart, and they say: “We beg you, come help him because he good man. 5  He love us and he even build our synagogue.” 6  So Jesus went with them. But when he wor not far from the house, the army officer already send his friend dem to tell him say: “Lord, don’t give yourself hard time to come to my house, because I not fit for you to come to my house. 7  That the reason why I not think I wor fit to come to you. But just give the command for my servant to be heal, and he will be heal. 8  Because myself I under other people, and I get soldier people under me. When I tell any one of them say, ‘Go!’ he can go, and when I tell the other one say, ‘Come!’ he can come, and when I tell my slave, ‘Do this!’ he can do it.” 9  Jesus wor really surprise when he hear this thing dem, and he turn around to the people who wor following him and say: “Let me tell yor, I not see anybody in Israel who get this kindna strong faith.” 10  And when the people who the army officer send came back to the house, they saw that the slave wor already well. 11  Right after that he travel to one city they call Na′in, and his disciple dem and plenty other people wor traveling with him. 12  When he reach near the gate for the city, he saw people carrying one man who na die. He wor the only son for his ma. Beside that, she wor widow and plenty people from the city wor also with her. 13  When the Lord saw her, he wor feeling sorry for her, and he tell her say: “Stop crying.” 14  So he went and touch the stretcher the body wor on, and the people who wor carrying the stretcher stop. Then he say: “Young man, get up!” 15  And the man who die wake up and sit down and he started talking, and Jesus give him to his ma. 16  All the people wor really surprise, and they started praising God. They say: “We na get one wonderful prophet among us,” and, “God na remember his people dem.” 17  And this news about him spread all over Ju·de′a and in all the village dem that wor around there. 18  And John disciple dem tell him about all this thing dem. 19  So John call two of his disciple dem and send them to the Lord to ask him: “That you the Person who suppose to come, or we must expect different person?” 20  When they came to him, the men dem say: “John the Baptist send us to ask you this question: ‘That you the Person who suppose to come, or we must expect another person?’” 21  At that same time, he started healing people who wor sick, even those who wor sick bad way. He move demons from in people, and he make plenty blind people to see. 22  He tell them say: “Go and tell John about the thing dem yor na hear and see. The blind people seeing now, and the cripple people walking. The people who get leprosy na get well, the deaf people hearing now, people coming back to life, and the poor people hearing the good news. 23  The person who not let their faith get weak because of me will be happy.” 24  When John disciple dem left from there, Jesus started talking to the people about John. He say: “Wetin you go see in the wilderness? That tall grass that the breeze blowing left and right? 25  So wetin you go there to see? That somebody with fine clothes? But people who can wear expensive clothes and get all the thing dem they want, living in the king house dem. 26  So wetin you went there to see? That prophet? Yes, that true John wor prophet, but he wor more important than even the prophet dem. 27  That he the one they write about and say: ‘I sending my messenger to go in front of you, and he will prepare your way for you.’ 28  Let me tell yor, among all the people who na live, nobody great more than John, but the person who get low position in God Kingdom great pass him.” 29  (When all the people and those who can collect tax hear this one, they say everything God can do correct, because that John the one who baptize them. 30  But the Pharisees and the people dem who really knew the Law not agree to follow the direction God give them, because that not John baptize them.) 31  “So, who I will compare this generation to, and who they looking like? 32  They looking like small children who sitting down in the market and calling each other. They say: ‘We play the flute for yor, but yor not dance. We sing sorrowful song, but yor not cry.’ 33  That the same way, John the Baptist came and he wor not eating bread, he wor not drinking wine, and yor say: ‘He get demon.’ 34  But when the Son of man came and started eating and drinking, yor start saying: ‘Yor see! The man greedy and he can drink plenty liquor, and he friendly with tax collectors and sinners!’ 35  But when people wise, it can show from the thing dem they can do.” 36  So one of the Pharisee dem continue asking Jesus to come eat in his house. So he enter the Pharisee house and sit down to the table. 37  And one woman came who everybody knew in the city to be sinner. She hear that Jesus wor eating in the Pharisee house. And she came with one bottle that wor having perfume oil inside. 38  After she came behind Jesus, she kneel down to the place his foot wor eh. She started crying and use her tears to wet Jesus foot, and she use her hair to wipe the tears from on his foot. She also kiss his foot and put the perfume oil on it. 39  When the Pharisee who invited him saw this one, he say to hisself: “If this man wor really prophet, he wor coming know the kindna woman that touching him. He wor coming know that she sinner.” 40  But Jesus tell him say: “Simon, I get something to tell you.” He say: “Teacher say it!” 41  “Two men wor owing one man who can credit people. One of them wor owing 500 de·nar′i·i, but the other person wor owing 50 de·nar′i·i. 42  When they wor not having anything to pay him back, he forgive two of them with his whole heart. So, which one of them will love him more?” 43  Simon say: “I think that the one who he forgive more.” Jesus tell him say: “You correct.” 44  Then Jesus turn around to the woman and tell Simon say: “You see this woman? I enter your house, but you not give me water to wash my foot. But this woman wet my foot with her tears and wipe the tears with her hair. 45  You not kiss me, but this woman, from the time I enter here she not stop kissing my foot. 46  You not put oil on my head, but this woman put perfume oil on my foot. 47  Because of this, I tell you, even though her sin plenty, I forgive her, because she show plenty love. But the person who they not forgive plenty, that person show small love.” 48  Then he tell her say: “I forgive your sins.” 49  But the people who wor sitting down to the table with him started talking to each other: “Who this man who can even forgive sins?” 50  But he tell the woman say: “Your faith na save you, go in peace.”
