26 When Jesus finish saying all this thing dem, he tell his disciples say:
2 “Yor know that two days from now they will have the Passover, and they will give the Son of man to his enemies to kill him on the stake.”
3 Then the chief priests and the elder dem came together in the high priest compound, who they call Ca′ia·phas.
4 They plan to set trap to catch* Jesus and to kill him.
5 But they wor saying: “We must not catch him to the festival so the people can’t start demonstrating.”
6 When Jesus wor in Beth′a·ny, in the house of Simon who wor having leprosy before,
7 one woman wor having bottle* with expensive perfume oil inside. She came to him and started putting it on his head when he wor eating.
8 When the disciple dem saw this one, they got vex bad way and they say: “Why she wasting this oil?
9 Because we can sell this oil for plenty money and give it to the poor people.”
10 Jesus knew what they wor talking about, so he tell them say: “Why yor giving the woman hard time? That good thing she do for me.
11 Because the poor people will always be with yor, but I will not always be with yor.
12 When she put this perfume oil on my body, she do it to prepare my body for the time they will bury me.
13 To tell yor the truth, anywhere they preach the good news in this whole world, they will also talk about the thing this woman do to remember her.”
14 Then Judas Is·car′i·ot, who wor one of the twelve apostles, went to the chief priests.
15 And he ask them: “Wetin yor will give me for me to betray him to yor?” Then they say they will give him 30 silver money.
16 From that time, he started looking for the right time to betray Jesus.
17 On the first day of the Unleavened Bread,* Jesus disciple dem came to him and ask: “Where you want us to prepare for you to eat the Passover?”
18 He say: “Yor go in the city to one man and tell him say, ‘The teacher say: “The time na come for me to die. Me and my disciple dem will have the Passover in your house.”’”
19 So the disciples do what Jesus tell them and they prepare for the Passover.
20 In the evening, he and his 12 disciples wor sitting down around the table.
21 When they wor eating he say: “To tell yor the truth, one of yor will betray me.”
22 Then their heart spoil bad way and all of them start asking him: “Lord, that me?”
23 He tell them say: “The person that will put their hand in the bowl the same time I put my hand there, that the person will betray me.
24 That true, the Son of man will die just how the Scriptures say it will happen. But bad things will happen to the person who will betray the Son of man! It wor coming to be better if they not born that person.”
25 Judas who wor coming betray him say: “Rabbi,* that me?” Jesus tell him say: “That just what you saying.”
26 When they wor still eating, Jesus take the bread and after praying he break it. And when he wor giving it to his disciples, he say: “Take it and eat it. This one stand for my body.”
27 And he take the cup, after praying he give it to them and say: “All of yor must drink from it.
28 This one stand for my ‘blood of the covenant’ that I will give for plenty people, so that God can forgive their sins.
29 But let me tell yor: I will never drink any wine again until the day I drink new wine with yor in my Father Kingdom.”
30 After they finish singing songs to praise God, they went to the Mount of Olives.
31 Then Jesus tell them say: “All of yor will leave me, because of what will happen to me tonight, just how the Scriptures say it: ‘I will attack the shepherd and the sheep will scatter.’
32 But after God bring me back to life, I will go to Gal′i·lee and wait for yor there.”
33 But Peter tell him say: “Even if all the other people will leave you, I will never leave you!”
34 Jesus tell him say: “To tell you the truth, tonight, before the rooster crow, you will deny me three times.”
35 Peter tell him say: “Even if it mean for me to die with you, I will never deny you.” All the other disciple dem start saying the same thing.
36 Then Jesus and his disciple dem came to one garden they call Geth·sem′a·ne, and he tell them say: “Yor sit down here, I going over there to pray.”
37 He carry Peter and Zeb′e·dee two sons with him, and he wor really feeling bad.
38 Then he tell them say: “I* really feeling bad, just like I coming die. Yor stay here and keep on the watch with me.”
39 Then he went in front small and kneel down with his face to the ground and pray: “My Father, if it possible let this cup pass by me. But still, not what I want, but what you want.”
40 He came back to his disciples and saw them sleeping. Then he tell Peter say: “Yor not able to stay up for just one hour and keep on the watch with me?
41 Yor keep on the watch and continue to pray so that yor can’t fall in temptation. The human being heart can really want do the right thing, but the body* weak.”
42 Then he go pray for the second time, he say: “My Father, if it not possible for this cup to pass by me except I drink from it, let what you want happen.”
43 He came back again and saw them sleeping, because sleep wor in their eye bad way.
44 So he left them and go pray again for the third time, and he say the same thing again.
45 Then he came back to the disciple dem and say: “That time like this yor sleeping and resting! See! The time na come near for them to betray the Son of man and give him to wicked people.
46 Yor get up let go, the person who will betray me coming.”
47 When he wor still talking, Judas who wor one of the 12 apostles came with plenty people who wor having swords and sticks. That the chief priests and elders sent them.
48 The person who wor coming betray him give them one sign, he say: “Anybody I kiss, that he the one yor must arrest.”
49 And he went straight to Jesus and say: “Hello, Rabbi!” and he kiss him.
50 But Jesus ask him: “My man, what your reason for coming here?” Then the people grab Jesus and arrest him.
51 But one of Jesus disciples take out his sword and cut off the high priest slave ear.
52 Then Jesus tell him say: “Put your sword back to the place you take it from. Because anybody who fight with the sword will die by the sword.
53 Or you think I not able to beg my Father now-now to send me thousands* of angels?
54 But if I do that one, then how the Scriptures will come to pass that say it must happen like this?”
55 Then Jesus tell the people say: “Yor come arrest me with swords and sticks, just like yor come arrest rogue? Everyday I use to sit down in the temple teaching and yor not arrest me.
56 But all this thing dem happen so that what the prophet dem say can come to pass.” Then all the disciple dem left him and run away.
57 Then the people who arrest Jesus carry him to Ca′ia·phas the high priest, where the scribes and the elder dem wor together.
58 But Peter continue to follow him all the way to the high priest compound, but he wor way behind. After he went inside, he sit down with the house servant dem to see what will happen.
59 The chief priests and the whole San′he·drin wor looking for people who will lie on Jesus so that they can kill him.
60 Although plenty people came to lie on Jesus, the thing dem they say wor not enough for them to kill Jesus. Later on, two persons came
61 and say: “This man say, ‘I able to break God temple down and build it back in three days.’”
62 When the high priest hear this one, he stand up and ask him: “You not get anything to say? You not hearing what the people saying against you?”
63 But Jesus not say anything. So the high priest tell him say: “Swear to the living God whether you the Christ, the Son of God!”
64 Jesus tell him say: “That just what you saying. But I tell you: From now on you will see the Son of man sitting down on the right hand side of God who get power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.”
65 Then the high priest tear his clothes and say: “He talking against God! We still need witness again? Yor already na hear what he say against God.
66 What yor think?” They say: “He suppose to die.”
67 Then they spit in his face and blow him. Other people put slap in his face,
68 and they say: “Ehn you say you the Christ, tell us, who slap you?”
69 Peter wor sitting down outside in the compound, then one servant girl came to him and say: “You yourself use to follow Jesus who from Gal′i·lee!”
70 But he deny it in front of all of them and say: “I not know what you talking about.”
71 When he went near the gate, another girl saw him and tell the people that wor around there, and she say: “This man use to be with Jesus the Naz·a·rene′.”
72 He deny it again and say: “I swear to God I not know that man!”
73 After some time pass, the people who wor standing around came to Peter and say: “You really one of them for true. Because even the way you can talk show it.”
74 Then he started swearing and say: “I swear to God, I not know that man!” Right away one rooster crow.
75 Then Peter remember the thing Jesus tell him, he say: “Before the rooster crow, you will deny me three times.” Then Peter went outside and started crying bad way.
