How You Can Tell Other People About the Good News?

The way you learning the truth from the Bible, maybe you will be thinking ‘everybody need to hear it too!’ That true, everybody need to know it! But maybe you can be scare to tell people about what you learning. Now let talk about how you can control that fear and be happy to tell other people about the good news from the Bible.

1. How you can talk to people you know about the thing you na learn?

Jesus disciples said: “We cannot stop speaking about the things we have seen and heard.” (Acts 4:20) Because they love the thing them they were learning from Jesus so much, they wanted to tell everybody about it. You feeling the same way too? If you feeling like that, look for ways you can tell your family and friends what you learning. Do it with respect.—Read Colossians 4:6.

Some ways that can help you to start preaching

When you and your family talking and you want tell them something from the Bible, you can say: “I learn something interesting this week.”
Read one scripture that will encourage your friend who sick or worrying.
When your workmate them ask you how you feeling, you can tell them something that you learn from your Bible study or from the congregation meeting.
Show your friends the jw.org website.
Ask other people to sit down with you on your Bible study or show them how to ask for their own Bible study on jw.org.

2. How you can benefit if you preach with the congregation?

Jesus disciples not only preach the good news to people who they knew. Jesus “sent them out by twos ahead of him into every city” to preach. (Luke 10:1) That way of preaching open the way for plenty people to hear the good news. Preaching together make Jesus disciples really happy. (Luke 10:17) You think you can plan to start preaching with the congregation?

3. Jehovah will be with you

Sometimes, some people can want preach, but they can be thinking about what to say or how people will look at them.

Plenty Jehovah Witnesses use to think that they will not be able to preach the good news to other people. For example, Sergey never use to trust himself, so to talk to other people, it was hard for him. But then he study the Bible. He say: “Even though I was scare, I started talking to people about what I was learning. I was surprise to see that when I started talking to people from the Bible, I started getting brave. And talking to other people also make my faith strong.”

4. Show respect

When you preaching to somebody, you must not only think about what to say, but you must also think about how to say it. Read 2 Timothy 2:24 and 1 Peter 3:15, and answer the question them together:

How you can use this Bible verse them when you talking to people about the Bible?
Maybe some of your family member and friend them will not agree with you. But what you must do? And what you must not do?
Why it good to ask question with respect instead of telling people what to believe?

5. Talking to people about the good news can make us happy

Jehovah give Jesus the work to preach the good news. How Jesus look at that work? Read John 4:34, and answer the question them together:

Eating good food can make us to live long and happy. Why Jesus say that doing God will, for example preaching the good news, looking like eating food?
What benefit you will get when you preach the good news?

Some ideas

When you go to the midweek meeting this week, look for ways to start talking with people.
Talk to your Bible teacher about how you can start giving talk to the midweek meeting. Student assignments can help you to learn how to talk to people.
Use the parts of the book call, “Some People Can Say” or “If Somebody Ask,” to practice how to answer some questions people can always ask and also to talk to people who not want listen to you.
