Everybody want their friends to be honest with them. Jehovah want his friend them to be honest too. But it not easy because we living in the world where plenty people not honest. But how we can benefit if we honest in everything we do?

1. What the main reason we must be honest?

When we honest with other people, we show to Jehovah that we love and respect him. Think about this: Jehovah know everything we can be thinking about and the thing them we can do. (Hebrews 4:13) When we want be honest, Jehovah can see it and it can make him happy. The Bible say: “Jehovah detests a devious person, but His close friendship is with the upright.”—Proverbs 3:32.

2. What some of the ways we can be honest in the thing them we can do everyday?

Jehovah want us to “speak the truth with one another.” (Zechariah 8:16, 17) What it mean? Whether we talking with our family members, workmates, Christian brothers and sisters, big-big people in the government, we will not lie to them or trick them. People who honest, can’t steal from other people and they can’t cheat them. (Read Proverbs 24:28 and Ephesians 4:28.) And they can pay all their tax. (Romans 13:5-7) When we do this thing them and do even more, it will show that we can “conduct ourselves honestly in all things.”—Hebrews 13:18.

3. How we can benefit when we honest?

When people know us to be honest, they will trust us. We help everybody to feel safe in the congregation like one family that love each other. We will be having clean conscience. When we honest, it can also “adorn the teaching of our Savior, God,” and make other people who not serving Jehovah to come serve Him.—Titus 2:10.
