How Your Family Can Be Happy?—Part 1

People who just get marry, can be hoping that the way they were happy on their wedding day will continue forever. It possible. Christians who been marry for long time and working hard to follow what the Bible say know that it possible.

1. What advice the Bible get for husbands?

Jehovah made the husband the head for the family. (Read Ephesians 5:23.) Jehovah want him to make good decisions that will benefit the family. The Bible advise husbands: “Continue loving your wives.” (Ephesians 5:25) What it mean? The husband who love his wife will treat her good when they by theirself and when other people around. He can protect her, make her happy, and provide the thing them she need. (1 Timothy 5:8) And the most important one, he can help her to get close friendship with Jehovah. (Matthew 4:4) For example, he can pray and read the Bible with his wife. The husband who love and care for his wife, will continue to get good friendship with Jehovah.—Read 1 Peter 3:7.

2. What advice the Bible get for wives?

The Bible say, wife “should have deep respect for her husband.” (Ephesians 5:33) How she must do it? She must think about her husband good-good ways and the hard work he doing to take care of her and their children. She must also respect him by supporting the decision them he can make. She must talk to him good and talk good about him to other people, even when he not serving Jehovah.

3. How marry people can make their marriage strong?

The Bible say that when people get marry: “The two will be one flesh.” (Matthew 19:5) It mean that they must fight against anything that will make their love for each other not to be strong. They can do this by always spending time together, telling each other how they feel and the things they thinking on. Beside Jehovah, nothing or nobody must be important to them more than their husband or wife. They must really be careful not to be too close to anybody who not their husband or wife.

4. Husbands—love and take good care of your wife

The Bible say, “husbands should love their wives as their own bodies.” (Ephesians 5:28, 29) What it mean? Play the VIDEO, and answer the question together.

5. Wives—love and respect your husband

The Bible tell wife to respect her husband whether he serving Jehovah or not. Read 1 Peter 3:1, 2, and answer the question them together:

If your husband not worshiping Jehovah, you really want him to worship Jehovah. But what the best thing to do, to preach to him all the time or to be good to him and respect him? Why?

Husbands and wives can make good decisions together. But sometime, the wife will not agree with her husband. She must take her time and explain to him how she feeling. But she must remember that Jehovah give him the right to decide what good for the family. She must do her best to support his decision. When she do it, the whole family will be happy. Read 1 Peter 3:3-5, and answer the question together:

6. You able to overcome problems in your marriage
