The Last Punishment

Moses promise Pharaoh that he will not see him again. But before Moses go, he tell Pharaoh say: ‘Midnight, all the firstborn dem in Egypt, even your own son and your slave dem children will die.’

Jehovah tell the Israelite dem to eat one special food. He say: ‘Kill one year old man sheep or goat, and put some of the blood on your door. Then roast the meat and eat it with bread that not get yeast inside. Yor must dress and wear yor sandals and be ready to go. Tonight, I will free yor.’ Just think about how the Israelite dem wor happy when they hear that news.

Midnight, Jehovah angel go to all the house dem in Egypt. And the people that wor not having blood on their door, all their firstborn dem die. But the angel pass over the house dem that wor having blood. All the Egyptians firstborn die whether rich or poor. But none of the Israelites children die.

Even Pharaoh own son die. Pharaoh wor not able to bear it again. Right away, he tell Moses and Aaron say: ‘Yor get up. Yor move from here. Yor go and worship your God. Yor take your animal dem and go!’

The moon wor still shining when the Israelite dem move from Egypt by family and by tribe. The Israelite men, women, and the children dem wor about 600,000. Also, plenty other people went with them so they can worship Jehovah too. Finally, the Israelite dem wor free!

For them to remember the way Jehovah save them, the Israelite dem use to eat that special food every year. And they call it the Passover.
