Moses live in Midian for 40 years. He get marry and born children. One day when he wor taking care of his sheep near Mount Sinai, he see something that wor wonderful. The thornbush wor on fire, but it wor not burning! When Moses go near to see what wor happening, he hear voice from inside the bush say: ‘Moses! Don’t come close. Take off your sandals because the ground you standing on holy.’ And that Jehovah wor talking through the angel.

Moses wor scare, so he cover his face. Then the voice say: ‘I na see the suffering the Israelite dem going through. I will save them from the Egyptians and bring them to good land. And that you will take my people from Egypt.’ You not think Moses wor surprise to hear this one?

Moses ask Jehovah say: ‘If the people ask me who send you, wetin I must say?’ God tell Moses say: ‘Tell them that Jehovah, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob send you.’ Then Moses say: ‘In case the people not listen to me?’ Jehovah prove to Moses that He will help him. He tell Moses to throw his stick on the ground, then the stick turn to snake! When Moses hold the snake tail, it turn to stick again. Then Jehovah say: ‘When you perform this miracle, it will prove that I send you.’

Moses say: ‘I not know how to talk good.’ So Jehovah promise him say: ‘I will tell you what to say, and your brother Aaron will go with you to help you.’ Because Moses know that Jehovah wor with him, he take his wife and children dem and they go back to Egypt.
