The Israelite dem been in the wilderness for almost 40 years now. They na take over plenty strong-strong city dem. Now, they living around Moab on the east side of the Jordan River. It wor time na for them to enter the Promise Land. Balak, who wor the king for Moab, wor scare that the Israelite dem wor coming take his land. So he call one man name Balaam to come to Moab and swear the Israelite dem.

But Jehovah tell Balaam say: ‘You must not go swear the Israelite dem.’ So Balaam refuse to go. Then King Balak send for Balaam for the second time, and promise to give Balaam anything he want. But still, Balaam not agree. Then God tell Balaam say: ‘You can go, but you must only say the thing I will tell you to say.’

So Balaam get on his donkey and started going to the south side of Moab. He plan to swear the Israelite dem, even though Jehovah tell him to not do it. Jehovah angel appear to Balaam on the road three times. Balaam not see the angel, but his donkey see the angel. The first time Balaam donkey see the angel, it move from on the road and go in the bush. The second time the donkey go close to the wall and it start jamming Balaam foot on the wall. Finally, the donkey lay down in the middle of the road. Each time, Balaam beat the donkey with stick.

The third time Balaam beat the donkey, Jehovah made the donkey to talk. Then the donkey ask Balaam: ‘Why you just beating me?’ Then Balaam say: ‘You making me to look stupid. If I wor having knife, I wor coming kill you.’ Then the donkey say: ‘You been riding me for plenty years. I na ever treat you like this before?’

Then Jehovah make Balaam to see the angel. The angel tell Balaam say: ‘Jehovah warn you to not go swear the Israelite  dem.’ Then Balaam say: ‘That bad thing I do. I will go back home.’ But the angel say: ‘You can go to Moab, but you must only say the thing Jehovah will tell you to say.’

You think Balaam learn his lesson? No. After that, Balaam still try to swear the Israelite dem three times. But each time he try to swear them, Jehovah made him to bless them. After some time, the Israelite dem attack Moab, and they kill Balaam. If Balaam wor coming listen to Jehovah the first time, you not think it wor coming to be better for him?
