Rahab Hide the People That Go Spy

When the Israelite dem go spy on Jericho, they stay to one woman house they call Rahab. When the king for Jericho hear about it, he send his soldier dem to Rahab house. She hide the two spy on top of the roof, and send the soldier dem different place. Then she tell the people that go spy say: ‘I will help yor because I know Jehovah on your side, and yor will take over the land. Please promise me that yor will save my family.’

The people that go spy tell Rahab say: ‘We promise you that nothing will happen to the people in your house.’ So they say: ‘Tie one red rope on your window, then your family will be save.’

Rahab use rope to her window for the people who go spy to get down. They went to the mountains and hide there for three days before they go back to Joshua. Then the Israelite dem cross the Jordan River and prepare to take over the land. Jericho wor the first city that they take over. Jehovah tell them to march around the city one time every day, and they must do it for six days. Then on the seven day, they march around the city seven times. Then the priest dem blow their trumpets, and the soldier dem shout loud. Then Jericho fence fall down! But Rahab house not fall down, even though it wor part of the city fence. Rahab and her family wor save because she trust in Jehovah.
