Ruth and Naomi

One time when food business wor hard in Israel, one Israelite woman name Naomi move to Moab with her husband and their two sons. Later on, Naomi husband die. Her son dem marry Moabites women. The women dem name wor Ruth and Orpah. Sad to say, after some time, Naomi two sons die.

When Naomi hear that food business wor not hard again in Israel, she decide to go back home. Ruth and Orpah go with her, but when they wor on the road going, Naomi tell them say: ‘Yor wor good wives to my sons and good daughters-in-law to me. I want yor to marry again. Yor go back home to Moab.’ Then the two of them say: ‘We love you! We not want leave you.’ Naomi continue to tell them to go. Finally, Orpah go back, but Ruth not go. Naomi tell Ruth say: ‘Orpah going back to her people and her gods. Follow her, and go back to your ma home.’ But Ruth say: ‘I will not leave you. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God.’ How you think Naomi feel when Ruth say that one to her?

Ruth and Naomi reach in Israel during the beginning of the barley harvest. One day, Ruth go collect the grain that leave over on Boaz farm. Boaz wor Rahab son. He hear that Ruth wor from Moab and how she stay loyal to her mother-in-law Naomi. Then he tell his worker dem to leave small grain on the farm for Ruth to take it.

That evening, Naomi ask Ruth: ‘That who farm you go on today?’ Ruth tell her say: ‘That Boaz farm.’ Then Naomi say: ‘Boaz that one of my husband relative. Continue to go on his farm with the other young women dem. Nothing will happen to you there.’

Ruth continue to go on Boaz farm until the harvest time finish. Boaz notice that Ruth use to work hard and she wor good woman. During that time, if somebody die and the person not get boy child, one of his relative will marry his wife. So Boaz marry Ruth. They born boy child and name him Obed. And later on, Obed became King David grandpa. Naomi friend dem wor happy for her. They say: ‘First, Jehovah give you Ruth, and she really good to you. Now you get grandson. And we tell Jehovah thank you.’
