Wetin Can Help You to Study Every Week?
IT CAN be hard for you to study the Bible every week and enjoy it? It can happen to all of us sometime. But think about other thing dem we do all the time, like taking bath. To take bath can take time and effort, but we can feel fine when we finish doing it. That the same way Bible study can make us feel good too like “bath of water by means of the word.” (Eph. 5:26) Let see some thing dem that can help:
Make schedule. Studying the Bible among “the more important things” that Christian must not forget about. (Phil. 1:10) To help you follow your schedule, you can put it somewhere where it easy to see, like on the wall or your freezer. Or maybe you can set alarm on your electronic device to remind you.
Choose the time that alright for you. It can be easy for you to pay attention for short time or long time? You the one know what good for you. Plan your study time according to what you able to do. If you can be feeling weak when your study time reach, maybe you can decide to just study for ten minutes. Even if you can just study for that short time, you can learn plenty things. And when you start, maybe you will get strength to continue.—Phil. 2:13.
Before time, choose the topics you want study. If you sit down before you start thinking about what to study, you will not be “making the best use of your time.” (Eph. 5:16) So it will be good to write down some topic dem that you want study. When you think about any question, just write it down. And anytime you finish studying and something come to your mind, you can also add it to the thing dem you want study.
Be willing to change. Be willing to change some thing dem in your schedule, like the amount of time you can study or the topic dem you want study. The most important thing that for you to study, not when, the amount of time, or thing dem you want study.
We will really benefit if we study every week. It can help us to draw close to Jehovah, learn to make good decisions, and be encourage.—Josh. 1:8
